I'm back to Asia! I had to return to one of the areas of the planet that I love most, Asia, but I didn't do it for anything less, it was days between the charms of Singapore and the feeling of freedom that you experience on the Island of the Gods, Bali! What did I miss the most? Everything, but especially those people, the smiles, knowing how to welcome and humility, being happy with little is a virtue and it's good that we never forget that. The gastronomy, the lush greenery, tropical climate, smells, culture, wildlife and good hotels. I've been to some of the best hotels in Asia, they lled me up, I loved it, I hope you like it as much as I do, and if there's still no desire or availability to discover or revisit these latitudes, may it come to you when you leaf through these pages! Bali is much more than backpacker tourism, it is an immersive experience I will never forget, Singapore is simply fabulous, a showcase of the future and a garden with a city inside. At EvoqueMag we are citizens of the world, of a world that is free and open to everything and everyone, we missed Asia and it was so good to come back!

Estava havido de voltar a uma das zonas do planeta que mais gosto, a Ásia, mas não z por menos, foram dias entre os encantos de Singapura e a sensação de liberdade que se vive na Ilha dos Deuses, Bali! Do que tinha mais saudades? De tudo, mas sobretudo daquelas gentes, os sorrisos, saber receber e humildade, ser feliz com pouco é uma virtude e é bom que nunca nos esqueçamos disso. A gastronomia, o verde luxuriante, clima tropical, cheiros, cultura, vida selvagem e bons hotéis. Estive em alguns dos melhores hotéis da Ásia, encheram-me as medidas, adorei, espero que vocês gostem tanto como eu, e se ainda não existiu vontade ou disponibilidade de conhecer ou revisitar estas latitudes, que a mesma surja ao desfolhar estas páginas! Bali é muito mais do que o turismo de “backpackers”, é uma experiência imersiva eu jamais esquecerei, Singapura é simplesmente fabulosa, uma montra do futuro e um jardim com uma cidade no seu interior. Na EvoqueMag somos cidadãos do mundo, de um mundo livre e aberto a tudo e todos, tínhamos saudades da Ásia e foi tão bom voltar!

Tradition and Culture Bali is a place where culture and spirituality are intertwined in everyday life. The entire gastronomic experience begins at “Village Square”, a square in the heart of the resort that has four unique gastronomic concepts around it, Wok Wok, an Indonesian restaurant, Blue Oven, a Mediterranean restaurant, Fire Fox, an Asian steakhouse and the Deli & Bakery that serves the best coffee, tea and snacks in the region. Breakfast takes place in all these spaces, it is a la carte and the best we have found to date, always lled with smiles and traditional Indonesian music. The highlight in gastronomy has to go to Fisherman Cove, the seafood restaurant located in front of Sanur beach, the fresh seafood, grilled sh and meats, live music and signature cocktails, a perfect combination. If there are places we would like to return to, Andaz Bali is right on the list. There is something that you can't see or feel, only those who are there realize that it is a very special, exceptional place, one that stays for life. O pequeno-almoço tem lugar entre todos estes espaços, é a la carte e do melhor que encontrámos até hoje, sempre recheado de sorrisos e a musica tradicional indonésia. O destaque na gastronomia tem de ir para o Fisherman Cove, o restaurante de frutos do mar localizado de frente para a praia de Sanur, os mariscos frescos, o peixe e carnes grelhadas, a música ao vivo e os cocktails de assinatura, uma combinação perfeita.

Se existem locais onde gostávamos de voltar, o Andaz Bali entrou directo para a lista, existe algo que não se vê ou consegue palpar, apenas quem lá está percebe que é um local muito especial, de excepção, daqueles que cam para a vida. Located on the Sanur seafront, it shares some of its facilities and services with Andaz, the gym and Spa are two examples, but it has its own identity, life and gastronomy. The gardens stand out, the lush greenery, the multiplicity of species, but above all the way in which they are excellently cared for, they are what frame the three swimming pools, one of which is located on the seafront and which was our top choice, the best of both worlds, the beach, the sea and the pool right there.

The hotel has rooms, ideally spread across three buildings that also include Family Suites, Regency Suites and Executive Suites. All rooms have a garden or partial sea view, and Balinese decor with Japanese-inspired features, a spectacular combination that makes us feel immediately at home. In these cases we like rooms on the ground oor, to go out immediately to the gardens, and that's exactly what we had, a balcony open to a garden that seemed to have no end, that passed by the pools and ended on the beach, it looks like one of the paths that leads to paradise, and it really was, we were very happy there.

O hotel tem quartos, idealmente distribuídos por três edifícios que incluem ainda as Family suites, Regency Suites e as Executive Suites. Todos os quartos têm vista jardim ou parcial mar, e uma decoração Balinesa com rasgos de inspiração japonesa, uma combinação espetacular que nos faz sentir de imediato em casa. Nestes casos gostamos de quartos nos pisos térreos, de sair imediatamente para os jardins, e foi isso mesmo que tivemos, uma varanda aberta a um jardim que parecia não ter m, que passava pelas piscinas e desembocava na praia, parece um dos caminhos que leva ao paraíso, e era mesmo, por ali fomos muito felizes.

The resort invites rest, rest invites gastronomy, and in this eld honor goes to one of the best Italian restaurants we found on our route, the name couldn't be simpler, the Pizzeria, yes the pizzas are great, but there is much more than pizza, the meat, sh, pastas and cocktails that made our delights. The location, literally on the beach, is unbeatable, as is the team, attentive, dedicated like everyone else in Asia and with those special smiles that make us want to get on a plane to go back, which is what we like about Asia. Omang Omang, is the Indonesian restaurant, the large buffet where we can have breakfast, lunch and dinner, some of the nights are themed such as the “Summer Barbecue” a grilled feast of meat, sh, vegetables and seafood, centrally located in the resort, Omang Omang delights everyone.

O resort convida ao descanso, o descanso convida à gastronomia, e neste campo honra seja feita a um dos melhores restaurantes italianos que encontrámos no nosso percurso, o nome não poderia ser mais simples, a Pizzaria, sim as pizzas são óptimas, mas o espaço tem muito mais que pizza, a carne, peixe, pastas e cocktails que zeram as nossas delícias. A localização, literalmente em cima da praia é imbatível, assim como a equipa, atenta, dedicada como todas na Ásia e com aqueles sorrisos especiais que nos fazem querer apanhar já um avião para voltar, o que nós gostamos da Ásia. O Omang Omang, é o restaurante indonésio, o grande buffet onde podemos tomar o pequeno-almoço, almoçar e jantar, algumas das noites são temáticas como a “Summer Barbecue” um festim de grelhados entre carne, peixe, legumes e frutos do mar, localizado centralmente no Resort o Omang Omang faz as delícias de todos.

The hotel is located next to Nusa Dua beach, a place where we can nd countless luxury brands from the global hotel industry, the beach is the main attraction, due to its length, unique characteristics of the sea and long walkway that allows us to explore the entire area along the sea coast. Arriving at the resort is a unique experience, its huge lobby, completely open and without walls, allows immediate observation of a large part of the resort and the immense blue of the ocean, it is an obligatory stopping place for the rst photos.

Chegar ao resort é uma experiência única, o seu enorme lobby, totalmente aberto e sem paredes, permite a observação imediata de boa parte do resort e do imenso azul do oceano, é local de paragem obrigatória para as primeiras fotos.

The Bali Collection shopping center is less than ve minutes away on foot, we visited and loved the traditional shops, the small market that takes place inside the center has the most incredible and original products, a must-see. Despite the enormous size, the excellent service is a constant, refreshing welcome drinks and towels, an effective presentation of the resort and services and those genuine smiles that we love so much.

There are rooms, including some suites and villas, harmoniously distributed across four buildings that are affectionately called villages. Although the marks of time can already be seen, we highlight the enormous dimensions and quality of the facilities, as well as a timeless touch of quality and good taste that lasts forever, we like resorts like this, with personality and quality. Our King Grand Suite was huge, approximately m , bedroom with walking closet, bathroom with bathtub and shower in separate spaces, soft colors where wood prevails and an oriental style that unites the entire concept, access to the Grand Club is the icing on the cake with a set of unique and exclusive services such as a swimming pool and access to lounges with food and drinks at various times of the day.

O centro comercial Bali Collection ca a menos de cinco minutos a pé, visitámos e adorámos as lojas tradicionais, o pequeno mercado que decorre dentro do centro tem os produtos mais incríveis e originais, um local obrigatório. Apesar da enorme dimensão, o serviço de excelência é uma constante, bebidas e toalhas refrescantes de boasvindas, uma apresentação e caz do resort e serviços e aqueles sorrisos genuínos que tanto gostamos.
