Development of more comprehensive connections to downtown Athens as well as to commercial sites in the Pulaski Heights neighborhood is the driving focus of this concept.

The Tracy Street Complex, located off just off of Barber Street, is a hub for commercial and communal gatherings. Expanding the Greenway network from across the Oconee to the east is a major component of this design.

Concept 2 also pushes for construction of arterial corridors between the east and west via the Greenway, but proposes a series of linear greenspaces rather than just a multi-use trail.

Analysis of zoning and construction in the preliminary phase of this project revealed several lots that have great potential for park style developments.
