La vuelta del tocadiscos The return to turntables Desde hace un tiempo el reproductor de vinilos volvió a ser parte del mercado musical.

L

os “viejos” tocadiscos están de vuelta en los locales de electrodomésticos y las marcas han encontrado una interesante vuelta de tuerca para ofrecerlos, desde conexión Bluetooth a tecnología láser, con reproductores de CD´s y cassettes, hasta radio, los nuevos productos estrella permiten un regreso al pasado ya que el vinilo es el formato preferido de los coleccionistas.

De ayer a hoy Fue Thomas Alba Edison, quien entre tantas cosas, creó el fonógrafo en 1877. Con él era posible grabar y reproducir sonidos a partir de un cilindro, aunque los primeros discos de pasta fueron desarrollados por Emile Berliner en 1888, para ser utilizados junto a su invento: el gramófono.

Luego vinieron el cassette, CD, mp3 y plataformas digitales, pero, los discos en vinilo volvieron a aparecer en el mercado ¿Por qué? Sin dudas mucho tuvo que ver la escena de los disc-jockey en el mundo, ya que estos artistas utilizan los vinilos para crear pistas.

Otro de los factores es el cambio en la industria, en la actualidad las plataformas digitales te dan la opción de escuchar la canción que quieras, donde quieras, cuando quieras, el llamado on demand. Sin embargo, los melómanos siempre quieren tener el producto físico y, los CD muchas veces sólo son el packaging simple y el disco, un sabor a poco para los coleccionistas. El vinilo es la opción perfecta para aquellos que quieren exponer discografías o decorar sus casas con tapas de álbumes. Ahí se daba un problema, muchos de los tocadiscos viejos, los antiguos de púas, que estaban juntando polvo en algún rincón no funcionaban y varios no tenían arreglo. Dónde escuchar el vinilo era la cuestión. Es por eso que varias empresas se hicieron eco del problema y salieron a vender y adaptar nuevamente el tocadiscos para alegría de los puristas del sonido.

a picada es el plato más elegido por los argentinos para compartir momentos. Si bien los ingredientes pueden variar mucho de acuerdo al bolsillo y los gustos, no pueden faltar una variedad de quesos, jamón, salame y snacks.

Se denomina picada a una comida típica de la gastronomía local, compuesta de varios alimentos servidos en pequeñas cantidades para compartir entre los comensales mientras llega el plato fuerte. No se trata de un plato individual, sino que los comensales se sirven de la fuente de acuerdo a su gusto.

La cantidad y variedad de componentes de una picada puede variar desde unos pocos ingredientes básicos, típicamente cuadraditos de jamón cocido, fetas de jamón crudo, quesos duros y semiblandos, aceitunas, maní y papas fritas. También se puede incluir: salame, mortadela, pickles, salchichas y todo lo que pueda servirse en porciones pequeñas. El pan no puede faltar y, para acompañar, la bebida preferida es la cerveza o el vino, aunque muchos lo combinan con Gancia o un Fernet con Cola.

Por ser un plato relativamente rápido de preparar y, socialmente muy bien aceptado, una picada suele servir de pretexto para compartir un momento familiar o con amigos.

he “picada” (snack plate) is the favorite dish for Argentine when it comes to sharing moments.

Although the ingredients can vary according to the pocketbook and tastes, there is nothing missing when it comes to a variety of cheeses, ham, salami, and other snacks.

We give the name picada to a typical meal or food, made up of various items served in small quantities to share among diners while the main dish is on the way. There is no individual serving, but everyone partakes of a communal dish according to their own tastes.

Quantity and variety can vary from a few basic items, typically squares of cooked ham, slices of smoked ham, hard and soft cheeses, olives, peanuts, and potato chips.

Also there can be: salami, mortadella, pickles, sausages, everything served in small portions, and many combined with Gancia or Fernet with Cola.

This will be a dish that is fairly quick to prepare, and socially is common, a picada is usually served as a pretext for sharing with family or friends.

Lo nuevo de Gorillaz New from Gorillaz The Now Now es el último trabajo de la banda de Damon Albarn.

l nuevo disco posee once temas y salió a la venta un año después del anterior, Humanz. En este álbum, Gorillaz explora otra faceta de la banda y muestra un costado más sencillo, sin tanta maquinaria creativa.

“Humility” es el primer tema y fue el adelanto que salió como promoción. Esta es una de las canciones que tiene un invitado: el guitarrista de jazz George Benson. El otro tema es “Hollywood”, que cuenta con la colaboración de Snoop Dogg.

La banda está conformada por Damon Albarn –voces, teclados, piano, guitarras, bajo, batería, percusión y melódica-, y Jamie Hewlett –ilustraciones, visuales, efectos especiales y dirección de los videos musicales-. Mientras que en vivo, los artistas arriba del escenario suelen ser seis: Mike Smith (teclados), Jeff Wootton (guitarra), Seye Adelekan (bajo, guitarra, ukelele), Jesse Hackett (teclados) y en batería: Gabriel Wallace y Karl Vanden Bossche.

The Now Now es el sexto álbum de estudio del grupo inglés que debutó en el 2001 con su disco homónimo. Le siguieron Demon Days (2005), Plastic Beach (2010), The Fall (2010) y Humanz (2017). The Now Now is the latest work of the Damon Albarn Band.

he new disc has eleven songs and went on sale a year after the earlier, Humanz.

In this album, Gorillaz explores another facet of the band and shows a simpler side, without as much creative machinery.

“Humility” is the first song and was the first sent out as a promotion. This is one of the songs that has a guest: the jazz guitarist George Benson.

The other song is “Hollywood”, that relies on the collaboration of Snoop Dog.The band is composed of Damon Albarn -voices, keyboard, piano, guitars, bass, drums, percussion, and the pianica or blow-organ- and Jamie Hewlett -illustrations, visuals, special effects, and direction of the musical videos-. Vinos con nombre propio Wines with their own names Cada vez se suman más famosos a ser productores de esta bebida sotisficada.

l vino es una de las bebidas predilectas de los argentinos que ya tiene trascendencia mundial. Los famosos no quisieron quedarse afuera de la tendencia y ya son varios los que se sumaron a este negocio.

Un ejemplo de esto es Marcelo Tinelli, quien relanzó su bodega Lorenzo de Agrelo, una finca de 125 hectáreas en Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza.

Por su parte, el futbolista Nicolás Burdisso presentó “Vinos de Potrero”. Junto con su esposa, Belén Soler Valle (manager de la empresa), se hicieron dueños de una finca en el Valle de Uco. Otro futbolista que incursionó en el mundo vitivinícola es ni más ni menos que Lionel Messi, aunque lo hizo a través de su fundación en un acuerdo con Bodegas Bianchi. Así es como nació “L10”, cuya línea se compone de dos Malbec, un Torrontés y un espumante Extra Brut.

A la hora de hablar de vinos de músicos, Marcelo Pelleriti es el enólogo preferido de muchos que ya han trabajado con él para crear su propia bebida bajo el concepto de Co-creaciones.

Así es como el profesional ya ha guiado a los vinos de Pedro Aznar, Gillespi, Coti Sorokin, Jaime Torres, Juanchi Baleirón y Fernando Ruiz Díaz, líder de la banda Catupecu Machu, entre otros.

En su nueva novela, el español Zanón se mete en la cabeza de un chofer ambiguo e inseguro.

C

arlos Zanón es una pluma multifacética que arriesga todo en cada nueva entrega.

Su pulso, reflexivo y certero, dibuja en Taxi (Anagrama) una obra plagada de referencias, de cultura pop de carácter cotidiano y accesible.

Situada en Barcelona, la historia se centra en Sandino, un hombre melancólico, que duda en regresar a casa porque teme que Lola (su mujer), harta de sus infidelidades, lo deje. No está muy seguro de si desea que eso suceda, como tampoco sabe si le gusta ser taxista, si es capaz de querer a alguien o si todo consiste en seguir rodando y chocando, como una bola en una mesa de billar llamada Barcelona.

En palabras del autor: “Sandino tiene miedo de estar solo y prefiere estar con cualquiera. Lo que le da miedo es esa soledad de sólo él saber quién”.

Es así que la ambigüedad y la incertidumbre dominará el ritmo de la novela. De acuerdo a Zanón: “El drama de Sandino es que no sabe, no quiere o no puede elegir porque si no elige lo tiene todo y en el fondo no tiene nada. Si no renuncias a cosas y te quedas con algo, no tendrás nada”.

Los avatares de Sandino configuran un personaje inigualable que permanecerá en la memoria de quienes gustan de la buena literatura.

arlos Zanón is a multifaceted writer that risks everything in each new delivery. His pulse, reflexes and aim, draws in Taxi (Anagram) a work plagued with references to pop culture that is both everyday and accessible. Subiendo en vehículo primero se llega a Piedras Blancas, un verdadero parque de diversiones de nieve. Tres kilómetros de pistas de trineos y una pequeña escuela de esquí que se suma a un divertido zipline. Dentro de Piedras Blancas funciona un moderno y divertido centro de arborismo con actividades para toda la familia. También para volver a ser niños.

Siguiendo el camino se llega al Centro de Esquí Nórdico. Allí se practica esquí de fondo y se puede pasear en motos de nieve y cuatriciclos. Por la noche se disfruta de la Noche Nórdica, un paseo que combina cena, bosque, nieve, noche y muchas sorpresas.

Y cerca de allí el Refugio Berghof ofrece la calidez de un auténtico refugio de montaña, la historia de Bariloche, naturaleza en estado puro y muy buena gastronomía.

Según decía Mauro a la prensa después de recibir el garlardón “Fuimos nueve desde Mirazur a Bilbao en auto, no porque tuviésemos la intuición de que subíamos en la clasificación, sino como

A fuerza de sacrificios Luego de descubrir que la cocina era lo que lo entusiasmaba, abandonó su carrera de Ciencias Económicas y se dedicó a aprender con una de las grandes maestras como Beatriz Chomnalez.

A los 24 años, y sin saber francés, decidió que debía aprender de los mejores y partió a Francia. Estudió en una escuela pública de Gastronomía, el Lycée Hôtelier de La Rochelle, obtuvo una pasantía en el restaurante Côte d’Or, del célebre chef Bernard Loiseau, donde peló papas durante cuatro meses “¡Ah! Y también limpié champiñones y piqué ajos”, agrega.

Lo primero que se hace es limpiar el hogar para quemar los residuos con hierbas aromáticas como laurel, coca, romero, yerba, ruda, etc. También se queman resinas vegetales o “palosanto”.

Si bien es un ritual típicamente andino también se celebran en el ámbito ciudadano entre familiares y amigos.

En Jujuy, luego de una comida comunitaria, se cava un hoyo y se le da de comer y beber a la Pachamama las que se colocan alrededor del mismo en un manto multicolor dispuesto por el oferente que dirige el ritual.

Los asistentes El día de la celebración los participantes del ritual se colocarán cintas de colores en los tobillos, muñecas o el cuello para ser del agrado de la Pachamama y evitar un reto. Otros utilizan cordones de hilo blanco y negro, confeccionados con lana de llama en lo posible.

Cuando todos los participantes han finalizado su tributo a la Pachamama, cada uno debe colaborar en cubrir el hoyo con piedras pequeñas de diferente forma o color, cubiertas con pétalos de flores.

It is the form that counts. Nevertheless, this vehicle has gone through a lot of stages before reaching the agile structure that we know nowadays.

As recently as 1888 there was a big change.

Ese invento se popularizó inmediatamente en las bicicletas de la época logrando por fin una amortización adecuada que la convirtió en un medio de transporte seguro, cómodo y ágil.

Evolución Ya Leonardo Da Vinci en su obra “Codez Atlanticus” pensaba en una bicicleta a partir de una transmisión de cadena, como las que se utilizan en hoy en día.

Incluso, en muchas obras de la segunda mitad del siglo XVII se observaban vehículos rudimentarios de dos ruedas, que eran propulsados por los pies.

En el siglo XIX llegan los primeros modelos industriales. En 1839 se le agregan los pedales a la rueda delantera, que era algo más grande que la trasera y desde 1869 se le dio el nombre de “bicicleta”.

En 1887 el norteamericano Thomas Stevens dio la vuelta al mundo en una bicicleta luego de pedalear por tres años. Desde entonces perdieron peso, ganaron en velocidad y en popularidad.

Actualmente se calcula que hay 1000 millones de bicicletas en el mundo, duplicando la cantidad de autos.

MAFICI 2018 MAFICI 2018 Puerto Madryn se prepara para una nueva edición de su festival de cine.

or quinto año consecutivo, se realizará en Chubut el Festival Internacional de cine de Puerto Madryn (MAFICI). Un evento que según su Jefa de Producción, María Eugenia Lombardi: “se produce de una manera artesanal. Somos un equipo chico. Logramos muchas cosas, sobre todo en relación a las películas que programamos, muchas de las cuales circularon en los mejores eventos del mundo”.

Este año el país invitado será Paraguay, el que tendrá su sección exclusiva. Estarán presentes Tana Schémbori y Juan Carlos Maneglia, directores de “Los Buscadores” (2012) y la reconocida “Siete Cajas” (2017). Además, asistirá Hugo Gamarra, director de mucha trayectoria y uno de los hacedores culturales más importantes del país vecino.

La edición pasada, el invitado fue México. “Nos fue muy bien”, cuenta Lombardi y agrega que, de hecho, tuvieron el apoyo del Instituto Mexicano de Cinematografía (IMCINE). “Vinieron directores invitados y los materiales que llegaron fueron alucinantes”, completa.

Además de lo mejor del cine argentino, en el MAFICI hay programación de películas rumanas, rusas y hasta chinas. Asimismo, Lombardi señala que siempre hay

En 2017 el homenajeado fue Carlos Sorín, realizador de, entre otras, “Historias mínimas” (2002).

En 2018, se baraja la idea de que el tributo sea para Pablo Trapero, conocido por películas como “El Clan” (2015), “Carancho” (2010) o “Leonera” (2008).

Al margen de los invitados internacionales que se confirmaron, también serán de la partida créditos locales, como Eleonora Wexler y Juanita Viale.

A diferencia de otros eventos de estas características, en el MAFICI se busca que el artista interactue con el especial entorno que propone la ciudad de Puerto Madryn. “Participan de las actividades, asisten a las excursiones, ya que uno de los focos es ‘cine + turismo’, donde se estimula todo lo que es la actividad turística de Puerto Madryn, porque nos interesa impulsar la economía local”.

Sobre el origen del festival, Lombardi cuenta: “Nació con el objetivo de impulsar a los directores que hacen su primera película en todo el mundo. Con los años, la experiencia mutó, creó nuevas aristas que se consolidaron”. De esta manera, se dieron

a Argentina es el mayor productor de vino de Latinoamérica, y el quinto en todo el mundo; además cuenta con una vasta experiencia en el tema de más de 300 años, pero hace sólo unos años se lo empezó a utilizar para promocionar al país.

Profundizando esa idea los ministros de Turismo y Agroindustria de la Nación firmaron un acuerdo de colaboración entre la Corporación Vitivinícola Argentina y la Federación Empresaria Hotelera Gastronómica (FEHGRA), para la promoción y desarrollo del Vino y la Gastronomía Argentina.

La sede de FEHGRA fue el lugar elegido para la firma del acuerdo marco de cooperación recíproca con la Corporación

Vitivinícola Argentina (COVIAR) y la adhesión al “Plan de Acción para la Promoción y Difusión del Vino Argentino Bebida Nacional”, con el apoyo del Ministerio de Turismo de la Nación.

A grandes rasgos este convenio contempla la participación conjunta y colaborativa de las entidades cuyo fin es promover el desarrollo y consumo nacional e internacional del vino, la gastronomía y el turismo, actividades representativas de la producción y cultura nacional, que cada una de dichas instituciones representa.

La promoción es una herramienta valiosa para posicionar, tanto en el mercado nacional como en el internacional, el consumo del vino y la gastronomía a través de los principales actores de la cadena de prestadores turísticos como son los establecimientos hoteleros y gastronómicos del país, promoviendo las costumbres argentinas, su tradición, su cultura y los productos, entendiendo al turista como un agente dinamizador de las economías regionales y al turismo como una de las principales actividades económicas de nuestro país.

El convenio fue sucripto por el ministro de Turismo, Gustavo Santos; el Ministro de Agroindustria, Juan Miguel Etchevehere; el vicepresidente de COVIAR, Walter Bressia; y la presidente de FEHGRA, Graciela Fresno.

En ese marco, Gustavo Santos destacó que el turismo está vinculado fuertemente a la identidad: “el vino se ha convertido en uno de los grandes productos turísticos de Argentina. Somos conocidos en el mundo por cuatro productos: el fútbol, la carne, el tango y el vino. Son marcas de identidad, están en nuestro ADN”.

Y destacó que “esta firma es de gran importancia porque es una acción que contribuye a la promoción, fomento y fortalecimiento del desarrollo de la producción, elaboración, industrialización, comercialización y consumo del Vino y la Gastronomía Argentina en todos los establecimientos hoteleros y gastronómicos del país”.

Etchevehere subrayó que “la unión hace la fuerza: las industrias vitivinícola, gastronómica y de turismo, y el sector agropecuario se unen para potenciar la actividad de este país, generando condiciones para trabajar mejor y alcanzar nuevos mercados.
