Y no es una mera expresión sin sentido, ya que el que hayan decidido elegirnos nos hace realmente felices porque eso quiere decir que muchas familias argentinas podrán seguir viviendo del sueño de volar.

Como una empresa 100 por ciento argentina hemos debido acomodarnos a más de una crisis para poder brindar un servicio a todos aquellos que por razones familiares, comerciales o por turismo deben movilizarse por nuestro país. Pero también lo hicimos pensando en nuestros pilotos, los auxiliares de vuelo, los encargados de mantenimiento de los aviones, los empleados del Call Center, los integrantes del Departamento de Operaciones, los de Ventas, los administrativos, y las empresas que nos ofrecen sus servicios, todos ellos ponen su mejor esfuerzo en hacer de Andes Líneas Aéreas una alternativa más dentro del competitivo mercado aerocomercial argentino.

Por todo eso es que son siempre Bienvenidos, especialmente cuando empezamos a transitar el mes de la Primavera.

Medio siglo de historia chilena Half a century of Chilean history En “Largo pétalo de mar” Isabel Allende mezcla historia, romance y política con impecable maestría.

E

n la Guerra Civil española el poeta chileno Pablo Neruda fletó el barco Winnipeg para sacar del país a muchos de quienes debieron exiliarse para proteger sus vidas. Entre ellos se encontraban Víctor Dalmau, un joven médico catalán, y su amiga pianista, Roser Bruguera, quienes, tras cruzar los Pirineos para refugiarse en Francia, llegan a Valparaíso en 1939 donde son recibidos como héroes.

La novela cuenta su historia de amor, inspirada en parte en hechos reales que vivió de cerca, Isabel Allende quien nos ofrece una emotiva indagación de los lazos sentimentales que se pueden forjar en el exilio cuando uno se pregunta cuál es su tierra, si aquel mítico territorio de la juventud o el lugar donde arraigan nuevos e inquebrantables afectos.

En Chile, país que Neruda define como “ese largo pétalo de mar y nieve”, se integrarán en la vida social durante varias décadas hasta el golpe de Estado que derrocó a Salvador Allende, amigo de Víctor por su común amor al ajedrez. Víctor y Roser se encontrarán nuevamente desarraigados, pero como dice la autora: “si uno vive lo suficiente, todos los círculos se cierran”.

D

uring the Spanish Civil War, the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda chartered a ship, the Winnipeg, to ferry out of the country many exiles in order to save their lives. Among them were Victor Dalmau, a young Catalan doctor, and his pianist friend, Roser Bruguera, who after cross the Pyrenees to take refuge in France, arrived at Valparaíso in 1938 where they were received as heroes.

The novel tells their love story, inspired in part in real events that she lived, Isabel Allende offers a moving study of the emotional ties that can be forged in exile when one questions what their land is, if that mythic territory of youth or the place where they put down new roots and unbreakable affections.

In Chile, the country that Neruda defines as “ese largo pétalo de mar y nieve” (that long petal of sea and snow), is about social life during several decades until the overthrow of the government of Salvador Allende, friend of Victor because of their common love for chess. Victor and Roser find themselves uprooted, but as the author says, “if one lives long enough, every circle will be closed.”

onami, la compañía japonesa que desarrolla este entretenimiento electrónico, quiere marcar un antes y un después en la histórica saga de juegos de fútbol. Uno de los cambios más significativos es precisamente el nombre: por primera vez será eFootball PES 2020, luego de haber sido bautizado como Winning Eleven en sus inicios y, posteriormente, Pro Evolution Soccer.

En la presentación realizada en Argentina estuvieron los ex futbolistas Ariel Ortega y Rolando Schiavi, quienes participaron de un torneo de penales.

Los seguidores del PES podrán disfrutar la Superliga Argentina con todos los equipos de Primera División con los derechos del torneo local, logos, nombres y escudos. A su vez, clubes europeos como Barcelona (España), Bayern Munich (Alemania), Juventus (Italia), Manchester United y Arsenal (ambos de Inglaterra) tendrán las licencias completas y escaneo 3D de los rostros de los jugadores.

eFootball PES 2020 was officially anounced few days ago, considered to be one of the best football video games today.

K

onami, the Japanese company that has developed this video game, wants to define a before and after in the historic saga of football games. One of the most important changes is its name: for the first time it will be eFootball PES 2020, after having been named Winning Eleven in its beginning, and later, Pro Evolution Soccer.

In the rollout that took place in Argentina, there were present ex football players like Ariel Ortega and Rolando Schiavi who participated in a penal tournament.

The followers of PES could enjoy the Argentine SuperLeague with all First Division teams with the rules of the local tournament, emblems, names, and symbols. In turn, European clubs like Barcelona (Spain), Bayern Munich (Germany), Juventus (Italy), Manchester United and Arsenal (both from England) will have complete rights and 3-D scans of players’ faces.

La nueva entrega llegará a PlayStation 4, Xbox One y PC (Steam) el 10 de septiembre, con una renovación significativa para el público argentino, ya que tendrá a River Plate y a Boca Juniors como equipos licenciados por completo. De esta forma, los finalistas de la Copa Libertadores de América 2018 serán exclusivos en esta nueva entrega del PES. Aunque la descripción no sea muy detallada, la imagen que inmediatamente viene a la cabeza coincide casi a la perfección con la tapa de aquel mítico disco de The Beatles que el 8 de agosto cumplió 50 años: Abbey Road.

En conmemoración al medio siglo de historia que lleva el disco, la discográfica Universal anunció que habrá una edición remasterizada del álbum, que, además de presentar una mejor calidad de sonido, contará con material inédito de las sesiones de grabación.

El material se lanzará el próximo 27 de septiembre, coincidiendo con la fecha en la que salió a la luz el disco original 50 años atrás. De esta manera, se convertirá en el tercer disco de la banda que luzca una versión modernizada, luego de “Let It Be” y “The Beatles (The White Album)” en 2017 y 2018, respectivamente.

Ya disponible en pre-venta, las 17 pistas del álbum han sido mezcladas en estéreo de alta resolución, 5.1 surround y Dolby Atmos, acompañadas de 23 grabaciones de sesiones y demos de las cuales la mayoría nunca antes habían sido estrenadas.

“El trayecto de grabación de los Beatles atravesó muchos cruces, curvas de aprendizaje y experiencias emocionantes. “Y aquí estamos - aún admirando la magia de todo el proceso” recuerda McCartney en su prólogo para los packs de la edición de aniversario de Abbey Road.

In commemoration of half a century of history that the disc carries, the Universal discographic announced that there will be a remastered edition of the album, that, in addition to giving better quality sound, will take into account unpublished material from recording sessions.

The material will be launched September 27th, coinciding with the date in which the original disc was issued.

In this way, it will become the third disc of the band in a modernized version, after “Let It Be” and “The Beatles (The White Album)” in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

Now available in pre-sale, the 17 tracks of the album have been mixed in high resolution stereo, 5.1 Dolby Atmos Surround South, accompanied by 23 recordings from sessions, the majority of which have never been released before.

El Chimichurri es un adobo tan argentino como Maradona que se sirve en todos los asados y es ideal para el choripán.

s muy común que llegue a la mesa en botellitas de vidrio con un corcho que deja salir una pequeña cantidad de ese adobo líquido con una enorme variedad de especies que le dan ese color y sabor único.

Como todo en la cocina se aceptan variaciones en virtud del gusto del asador pero básicamente lleva ajo, orégano, perejil, ají picante, sal, aceite y vinagre aunque se aceptan el tomillo, laurel, albahaca, cebolla, etc.

El origen del nombre es casi un misterio, para algunos es la deformación fonética del inglés “Give me the curry!” que los ingleses afincados en la Patagonia pedían a los criollos durante la comida, aunque para otros podría tener que ver con un vocablo vasco “Tximitxurri”, que significaría mezcla o revoltijo. Pero a quien le importa saber porque lleva ese nombre si va perfecto con nuestros asados, ¿no?

Quien mejor que Silvino Armoa, quien selecciona la carne y prepara las salsas del restaurante Pepito, para contarnos los secretos del chimichurri que prepara según la receta que aprendió cuando con sólo 18 años comenzó a trabajar en la parrilla: “Nuestro chimichurri lleva ají molido, orégano, perejil, ajo y morrón picados, sal, aceite y vinagre. El punto es que ningún ingrediente tape al otro ni que salga muy líquido”.

There are many varieties in the kitchen that relate to the flavor of the chef but basically it is a mixture that has garlic, parsley, hot peppers, salt, oil and vinegar, although it can also have thyme, bay leaf, basil, onion, etc.

The origin of the name is almost a mystery, for some it is a phonetic twist for the English, Give me the curry! that the English settlers in Patagonia would say during a meal, although others see it´s a Basque word “Tximitxurri” that means a mixture or jumble. But what really matters is that it goes perfectly with our asados, right!

Who better than Silvino Armoa, who selects the meat and prepares the sauces at the Pepito Restaurant, to tell us the secrets of the chimichurri that he prepares according to the recipe he learned when he was only 18 years old and began to work on the grill: “Our chimichurri has ground chili pepper, chopped oregano, parsley, garlic and sweet pepper, salt, oil and vinegar. The point is that no ingredient covers the other or that it comes out very liquid”.

Jujuy Con poco oxígeno y conectividad con el resto del país, El Angosto es el pueblo ubicado más al norte de la Argentina, ¿lo conocían?

E

s indudable que todos sabemos que Ushuaia es la última ciudad del extremo sur del mundo, pero ¿cuántos conocen la existencia en la provincia de Jujuy del pueblo más al norte de la Argentina? Si se animan subimos para conocerlo.

Ubicado a 3581 metros sobre el nivel del mar y a 360 kilómetros de la capital provincial, El Angosto está en el departamento de Santa Catalina, sobre el cerro Branqui de 4000 metros que en lo más alto señala el límite con Bolivia.

Llegar no es fácil, pero vale la pena el esfuerzo. La Ruta provincial N°5 desaparece de pronto hasta convertirse en un camino de tierra, que más que camino es casi una huella. De ahí en más serán 30 kilómetros por caminos de cornisa dando vueltas en sus curvas y contracurvas, en un paisaje montañoso espectacular con colores rojizos y ocres y algún manchón verde producto del efecto de un arroyo que seguramente en el verano haga casi imposible el paso, pero que da vida a algunos arbustos y vegetación que rompen la monotonía. Habrá que trepar hasta los 4000 metros para descender casi 400 de forma brusca hasta encontrarnos con el pequeño poblado de “El Angosto” de casas humildes de adobe y una pequeña iglesia.

Pequeño y aislado Dadas las dificultades para entrar y salir del poblado no es raro que las 40 familias que viven en El Angosto casi no salgan de él, y mucho menos que vaya mucha gente a visitarlos, lo que las dejó fuera de todas las comodidades de la vida moderna.

With little oxygen and connected with the rest of the country, El Angosto is a town located in northern Argentina.

E

veryone knows that Ushuaia is the last city in the extreme south of the world, but, how many know about the existence in the province of Jujuy of the town that is the most northern in Argentina? It’s worth going there to get to know it.

Located 3,581 meters above sea level and 360 kilometers from the provincial capital, El Angosto is in the department of Santa Catalina on Branqui Mount some 4,000 meters high on the border with Bolivia.

Getting there is not easy, but its worth the effort. Provincial Highway N°5 soon disappears when it becomes a dirt road that is more of a track than a road. From there it is 30 challenging kilometers by the coast with many twists and turns in a spectacular mountain landscape with reddish, golden and sometimes dense green colors with a river that in the summer makes it almost impossible to traverse, but this all gives life to the trees and vegetation that break the monotony.

One has to climb the 4,000 meters in order to descend almost 400 rather rapidly in order to find the little town of “El Angosto” with simple adobe houses and a small church.

Small and isolated Given the difficulty to come and go from the community, it is unusual that the 40 families that live in El Angosto ever leave it, much less that others would visit it, leaving the people who live there outside the conveniences of modern life. That is until recently.

Sus habitantes prácticamente se autoabastecen con las huertas que crecen en los márgenes de los arroyos que les permiten cultivar maíz, girasol y papa norteña mientras crían cabras, burros, llamas, ovejas y gallinas.

Sufren las inclemencias de un clima árido y frío ya que por efectos de la altura el promedio anual es de escasos 8ºC. Pero la vida les cambió en mayo de este año cuando El Angosto se convirtió en el tercer pueblo jujeño abastecido con energía solar. Desde entonces cuentan con una nueva central fotovoltaica autónoma con acumulación en base a baterías de ion-litio, que proporciona energía 100 % solar al pueblo brindando el servicio en escuelas, puesto de salud, red de alumbrado público y energía domiciliaria.

Antes que ellos se convirtieron en pueblos solares Olaroz Chico (departamento Susques) y La Ciénaga (Santa Catalina) y después tendrán sus plantas fotovoltaicas autónomas Caspalá, Santa Ana, San Francisco del Valle de Santa Catalina, San Juan de Quillaques, El Toro y Catua.

Acostumbrados a casi no poder bañarse con agua caliente, mirar televisión o tener heladeras, ya que la energía que obtenían por un generador de combustible duraba unas pocas horas al día, ahora, (sí recién 19 años entrado el Siglo XXI) van a poder calentar el agua para el mate con la jarra eléctrica en vez de en el fogón.

Sus habitantes prácticamente se autoabastecen.

The inhabitants are practically self-sufficient. corn, sunflowers, and northern potatoes. When it comes to farm animals, they raise goats, burros, llamas, sheep, and chickens.

They endure the inclemancies of a dry and cold climate due to the high altitude with an average temperature of barely 8ºC. But life changed this year in May when El Angosto became the third community in Jujuy to be supplied with solar energy, this really changed things.

From then on they rely on a new photovoltaic center based on ion lithium batteries that provide 100% solar energy to schools, health centers, a network of public lighting and home energy.

Before this, there were solar communities in Olaroz chico (Susques) and La Ciénaga (Santa Catalina) and later there will be self-sufficient solar plants in Caspalá, Santa Ana, San Francisco del Valle de Santa Catalina, San Juan de Quillaques, El Toro, and Catua Before they bathed in hot water, watched television, and had refrigerators with power from generators that lasted only a few hours each day, but now they have entered the 21st century and they can heat water for their mate with electric pitchers in place of a fire, but now have power 24 hours a day.

La cabecera del departamento está ubicada a 67 km al oeste de La Quiaca. Antiguamente se explotaban minas de oro y en la actualidad sus pobladores crían llamas, ovejas y cabras en una tierra árida y seca la mayor parte del año. Se ubica algo más abajo que El Angosto, ya que está a 3770 metros sobre el nivel del mar.

Como en muchos pueblos jujeños su iglesia es un verdadero tesoro del siglo XVII, con arte de la imaginería colonial. Santa Catalina de Alejandría está frente a la Plaza principal y su torre de tres pisos, de forma telescópica mide 10 m. Los altares datan del siglo 19.

Los lugareños son devotos de la Virgen de Chinchillas entronizada en el pueblo boliviano homónimo. Hay procesíón, colorida, danzas de suris y cacharpaya de los sikuris.

La deportista argentina brilló en los Panamericanos de Lima y ya apunta a Tokio 2020.

os Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud que se realizaron en Buenos Aires en 2018 fueron la antesala para que el mundo comenzara a conocer a los atletas del futuro. En ese contexto, una nadadora argentina de 19 años emergía como una promesa del deporte nacional al obtener dos medallas de Plata en las pruebas de 800 y 400 metros libre.

En los Juegos Panamericanos realizados en Lima entre el 26 de julio y el 11 de agosto de este año, Delfina Pignatiello dejó en claro que lo sucedido en Buenos Aires no había sido casualidad. La adolescente oriunda de San Isidro se consagró en las pruebas de 400, 800 y 1500 metros libre, convirtiéndose en la primera nadadora argentina en conseguir tres medallas doradas en la historia de esta competición.

Muchos de quienes siguieron sus logros en la pileta del Parque Polideportivo Roca recordarán la emoción de Delfina al dedicarle su medalla a la abuela, fallecida en el transcurso de los JJOO de la Juventud. Ya más madura y acostumbrad al éxito se la vió en Lima celebrar cada una de sus medallas con un gesto significativo.

Después de ganar los 400 metros, la nadadora simuló un “tiro al aro”, a modo de dedicatoria a su amigo Francisco Farabello, un basquetbolista de 18 años. El festejo de los 800 metros fue un chasquido característico de la saga Avengers, mientras que al terminar su participación en los 1500 metros, y todavía dentro del agua, levantó tres dedos de su mano para graficar las medallas que la estaban convirtiendo en parte de la historia del deporte nacional.

Vale destacar que la acción contó con la aprobación de la empresa estatal Edenor, que posibilitó la colocación del medidor para contabilizar la energía del cartel e insertarla a la red.

ace unas semanas los titulares de los diarios nacionales nos asombraban con el premio que recibió un pequeño de 13 años tras participar de una competencia de video juegos. Thiago “King” Lapp, viajó a los Estados Unidos a participar del Mundial de Fortnite, famoso video juego furor en todo el planeta, terminando en la quinta posición y llevándose la exorbitante cifra de 900 mil dólares.

Números más o menos (ya que el fisco norteamericano se encargó de cobrarle el 30% en impuestos) que un pre adolescente tenga ingresos muy superiores a un profesional de cualquier deporte o actividad a esa misma edad es cuando menos un disparador para analizar qué es lo que queremos para nuestros chicos.

Incluso surgió el debate de si es ético apoyar la profesionalización de los gamers a edades en las que deberían estar abocados a cursar su secundario y realizar actividades físicas que contribuyan a construir un cuerpo saludable en plena etapa de crecimiento.

Si una mujer está embarazada debe saber que hasta las 20 semanas de gestación no debe presentar ningún tipo de certificado, pero desde la semana 21 hasta la 32 debe llevar un certificado médico estándar –MEDIFemitido dentro de los cinco días previos a la fecha de vuelo. Después de esa fecha no podrán viajar a bordo de ninguna compañía aérea.

Si el pasajero presenta condiciones que le impidan seguir instrucciones o sufra alteraciones de personalidad o conducta deberán presentar la correspondiente Certificación Médica. Dependiendo del diagnóstico y de la decisión del médico, se puede requerir que viaje con un acompañante o con asistencia de personal de salud especializado.

El acompañante deber ser adulto legalmente responsable (18 años de edad como mínimo); ser capaz de comunicarse con la Tripulación y con el pasajero y debe estar apto para asistir al pasajero discapacitado en sus necesidades.

If the Passenger has any condition that impedes following instructions or suffers from a personality disorder or behaviour they must present corresponding medical certification.

Depending on the diagnosis and the judgement of the doctor, an accompanying companion or specialized health professional can be required.

The companion must be a legally responsible adult (minimum age of 18 years); be able to communicate with the crew and with the passenger; and, must be able to assist the passenger in question with their needs.

Those who have special visual or auditory needs can travel with a service animal without additional cost and without having to pay additional fees for luggage allowance. Only dogs will be accepted, which will be able to travel in the cabin with a muzzle next to the passenger.
