n un momento en que los tiempos corren cada vez más rápido nos detenemos a hacer un balance de estos primeros cuatro meses del año y no podemos menos que sentir un gran orgullo por los logros alcanzados.

Pudimos culminar con un gran éxito nuestra primera temporada de vuelos regulares al exterior con la ruta a Punta del Este (Uruguay); volvimos a tener una gran aceptación en los vuelos de temporada hacia Mar del Plata ayudando a que más argentinos tengan sus vacaciones en el balneario más importante de la Costa Atlántica, tanto del norte como del sur de nuestro país. Pudimos sumar nuestra segunda ruta a la provincia de Chubut y estamos muy felices con la respuesta de Uds., nuestros pasajeros, que ahora pueden volar a Comodoro Rivadavia cómodamente para hacer negocios en la “capital nacional del petróleo”.

Para brindar cada vez mejores oportunidades de conexión a nuestros pasajeros desdoblamos los vuelos de Jujuy y Tucumán que ahora conectan directamente con Buenos Aires, permitiendo que haya más oferta de asientos en cada uno de los destinos del norte argentino beneficiándolos a todos.

Pudimos concretar un histórico viaje a las Islas Malvinas llevando familiares de soldados caídos en la Guerra de 1982 para cerrar un círculo doloroso pero necesario para todos ellos, siendo la primera aerolínea nacional en aterrizar en suelo de las islas después del conflicto bélico con todos los desafíos que ello implicaba. Gracias a los pilotos, tripulación y mecánicos por haber hecho de esta experiencia algo que nunca olvidaremos. Seguimos creciendo en número de pasajeros transportados y vamos por muchos más, porque ahora más que nunca “todos pueden volar”. ¡Hasta el mes que viene!

hen things are happening so quickly, we stop to take account of these first four months of the year and we can do nothing less than feel great pride in all that has been accomplished.

We have had great success in our first season of regular international flights with the route to Punta del Este (Uruguay); and we have had great acceptance in seasonal flights to Mar del Plata that enable Argentines to have their vacations to the most important beaches of the Atlantic Coast, both from the north and south of our country.

We were able to add our second route to the province of Chubut and we are happy with the response from all of you, our passengers, that now can fly conveniently to Comodoro Rivadavia to do business in the “national capital of petroleum”. We offer increasingly better connections to our passengers, we unfold flights from Jujuy and Tucumán that now connect directly with Buenos Aires, making it possible to have more seats for each of our destinations to northern Argentina and benefiting everyone.

We were able to complete an historic trip to the Malvinas Islands, carrying family members of fallen soldiers in the 1982 War and to aid in closing a painful but necessarily needed circle for all of them, being the first national airline that has landed on these islands after the conflict with all the challenges that this implied.

Thanks to the pilots, crew members, and mechanics for having made this experience something that we will not forget.We continue to growth in the number of passengers transported and we look forward to many more, because now, more than ever, “everyone can fly.” We will be seeing you next month!

En este libro el maquiavélico Brady Harstfield vuelve del coma gracias al doctor Babineau, un profesional tan eximio como inescrupuloso, y responsable de crear un novedoso fármaco (aún no probado en humanos) que podría llevarlo a la primera plana de los diarios, aunque no por las mejores razones.

Tiempo después de usar la droga el criminal despierta y de manera lenta recupera sus facultades y suma otras ¿inesperadas?, como una pseudo telekinesis, la cual utiliza para levantarse de la cama. La historia empieza cuando Martine Stover y su madre -ambos sobrevivientes de la primera entrega de la trilogía- “se suicidan” y el policía descree de esta posibilidad.

by Stephen King, closes out the trilogy that the writer began with Mr. Mercedes.

Everything finishes at the end, nothing can escape, everything has its ending, everything finishes,” says the song that can perfectly portray the reality of Stephen King, the 70-year-old writer that has published in our country Fin de Guardia, the last part of the trilogy that began with the praised “Mr. Mercedes” (2014) and continued with “Quien pierde paga” (2015), which meant an incursion into the author’s dark police novel.

In this book, machiavellian Brady Hartsfield comes back from a coma thanks to Doctor Babineau, a professional that is as distinguished as he is unscrupulous, and responsible for creating a new drug (although not tested on humans) that can take one to the front page of the news, although not for the best reasons.

After using the drug, the criminal awakens and slowly recovers his faculties and some others that are “unexpected,” like telekinesis powers, which he uses to get up from his bed. The story begins when Martine Stover and his mother—both survivors of the first of the trilogy—“having committed suicide” and the police do not believe this possible.

Being an icon of pop culture, King returns to Argentine bookstores at just the right time.

as versiones de quien creó esta comida son muchas, pero a ciencia cierta, el argentino, sobre todo el porteño, sabe que es uno de los platos más deliciosos y fáciles de la gastronomía local. Los ingredientes varían, pero la receta tradicional lleva cebolla, papas, huevos, jamón cocido o panceta y condimentos a gusto. La idea es picar primero la cebolla y freirla en aceite; luego es el turno de las papas que deberán estar cortadas en forma de bastón. Por otro lado, hay que batir los huevos con los condimentos y mezclar con las papas, la cebolla y el jamón; se vuelve a llevar a la sartén y se cocina hasta que el huevo cuaje.

El secreto de la preparación es que todo quede a punto, ya que no debe estar ni cruda ni quemada. Otro tip a tener en cuenta es que a los huevos se les puede agregar un poco de crema de leche, que deja una consistencia más cremosa.

Versiones más sofisticadas del revuelto gramajo realizadas a partir del siglo XX pueden incluir arvejas, morrón, ajo, aceitunas, panceta, hongos, mariscos, pechuga de pollo, pavita y adobo o perejil.

Since many years, Scrambled Gramajo it has become a typical dish that is difficult to say no to.

here are many stories about who created this dish, but for sure the argentine people, above all the “porteño”, knows it is one of the easiest and most delicious local dishes. Ingredients can vary, but the traditional recipe takes onions, potatoes, eggs, cooked ham or bacon and whatever favorite seasonings.

The idea is to first chop up some onions and fry them in oil; then it’s time for the potatoes that should be cut into sticks.

Next, beat the eggs with the seasonings and mix with the potatoes, onions, and ham, put them all in a fry pan and cook until the eggs are set.

The secret of the preparation is timing, everything cooked just right, neither under- or overcooked. Another tip is to add a little cream to the eggs so that they have a creamy consistency.

More sophisticated versions of scrambled gramajo at the beginning of the 20th century included peas, peppers, garlic, olives, bacon, mushrooms, seafood, chicken breast, gamebird, chili sauce, or parsley.

Cuando estaba en pleno auge con su banda originaria, Las Pastillas del Abuelo, se encontró haciendo canciones que por el estilo no encajaban con el grupo y decidió encararlas de manera solista. “A mediados de julio me encontré con cuatro canciones: una para mi viejo, otra para mi vieja, una para mis hermanos y otra motivada por los cuentos de mi abuelo que alegraron y nutrieron mi infancia”, explicó el cantante el año pasado cuando decidió emprender este nuevo camino.

“Me parecieron composiciones tan personales, que convoqué a mi primo y padrino, Diego Betancor, como productor artístico.

A mi hermano Juan Pablo como ángel de la guarda; a mis sobrinos, Mariano y Juan Ignacio, ambos músicos de La Huella Rebelde, para jugar con nuestra historia y completar esta obra conceptual”, destacó y además comentó que el disco está inspirado en un libro de poemas titulado “Conmigo Mismo”, que fue escrito por su abuelo Francisco Betancor, hace 50 años.

“Fue así que surgió esta suerte de necesidad y deseo de llevar a cabo esta obra junto a mi familia”, sintetizó el artista.

El disco ya fue presentado en distintos lugares del país en circuitos más intimistas y familiares.

he head of Juan Germán “Piti” does not stop. When he was at the top with his original band, Las Pastillas del Abuelo, he was making music with his group that did not fit in and he decided to go solo. “In the middle of July I had four songs: one for my old man, another for my old woman, one for my siblings, and another inspired by the stories of my grandfather that made my childhood so happy,” he explained last year when he decided to start out on his new road.

“They seemed like such personal compositions, that I called for my cousin and godfather, Diego Betancor, as artistic director. My brother, Juan Pablo, was a guardian angel. My cousins, Mariano and Juna Ignacio, both musicians with La Huella Rebelde, to play with our story and to complete this conceptual work,” he said, and in addition he said that the disc is inspired by a book of poems entitled “Conmigo Mismo,” that was written by his grandfather, Francisco Betancor, 50 years ago.

“Thus it was that this luck of the draw came out of necessity and the desire to finish this work with my family,” summed up the artist.

The disc was presented in different parts of the country on a circuit of his closest friends and family members.

Una vez por mes, la Ciudad Cultural Konex convoca a los más chicos para participar del ciclo “La Linterna Mágica”.

L

a Linterna Mágica es un club de cine internacional exclusivo para chicos de 6 a 12 años que los invita a descubrir el placer del cine en pantalla grande y los introduce en el lenguaje cinematográfico de forma didáctica y divertida. Antes de cada proyección los chicos presencian una obra de teatro a modo de introducción, en la que se trabajan conceptos relacionados con el film y con el cine en general.

El objetivo es acercarlos al arte desde el arte ya que es un espacio de aprendizaje, de pertenencia, de participación y de gestación de una mirada crítica sobre lo que se ve.

Los films seleccionados abarcan todas las épocas del cine, los países, las lenguas y las estéticas más diversas. Inclusive películas nunca estrenadas en nuestro país y cortometrajes.

Este cine club funciona a través de una membresía anual e incluye el envío a domicilio de una revista previa a cada función. Cabe destacar que los niños ingresan sin la compañía de sus padres ya que en la sala se encuentra personal especializado para tal fin.

Once a month, Ciudad Cultural Konex invites kids to participate in “La Linterna Mágica” (The Magic Lantern).

L

a Linterna Mágica is an international film club just for 6-12 year-old kids so that they can discover the pleasure of film on the big screen and introduce them in cinematic language to a fun learning experience. Before each projection, kids present an introductory theater project in which ideas are worked on with film and movies in general.

The purpose is to engage in art and learning by participation and gaining a critical view about what they are seeing.

The films that are chosen come from diverse periods of movies, countries, languages, and styles. The films used have never been release in our country and are short ones.

This cinema club works through an annual membership and includes a review or magazine sent to each member’s home before each get-together. It should be emphasized that the young people come without their parents since the movie theater has been designed specially for this activity.

Lugares Mágicos de Salta” es un Programa de Desarrollo Turístico Sustentable para poner en valor aquellos pueblos que por sus características son verdaderas joyas que merecen ser conocidos y disfrutados. La provincia ha seleccionado en estos últimos dos años seis pueblos (de una larga lista que se presentaron) a los que se les entregan fondos para su adecuación turística y puesta en valor del patrimonio histórico, arquitectónico, cultural y natural.

Durante 2016 fueron distinguidos Seclantás, Chicoana y San Antonio de los Cobres, mientras que este año fueron San Carlos, Guachipas y Campamento Vespucio.

¿Cómo son?

San Carlos es el poblado más antiguo de toda la provincia (1577), ubicado en los Valle Calchaquíes, a 24 kilómetros de Cafayate.

El pueblo preserva su arquitectura colonial, influenciada por la presencia de los jesuitas llegados en 1630. Por otro lado, también se destacan la iglesia construida a mediados del siglo XIX, la cual tiene pinturas de la Escuela de Arte de Cusco. Y si de museos hablamos, su colección arqueológica es más que interesante.

San Carlos es el poblado más antiguo de toda la provincia.

Campamento Vespucio presenta cualidades notables para los amantes de la naturaleza: ubicado a 345 kilómetros al noreste de la capital, la zona guarda como tesoro el esplendor de Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales (YPF). Y, al estar rodeado por sierras, es un escenario ideal para realizar actividades como el trekking, los safaris fotográficos y el avistaje de aves, entre otros.

Guachipas, por último, posee un distintivo extraordinario, difícil de encontrar en otros destinos: conserva 33 aleros, en los cuales se pueden apreciar pinturas rupestres creadas por los primeros pobladores de la región, entre los siglos X y XV. Este recorrido puede encontrarse a solo 30 kilómetros del pueblo, que está ubicado en el Valle de Lerma.

Magic Places of Salta” is a Sustainable Tourist Development Program to illustrate the value of those villages that by virtue of their character are true treasures that merit being known and enjoyed.

The province has chosen in these last two years six of them (from a long list that was presented) to those that are adapted to tourism and have important historic value, as well as architectural, cultural, and natural value. During 2016 Seclantás, Chicoana and San Antonio de los Cobres were recognized, while this year it was San Carlos, Guachipas and Campamento Vespucio.

What are they?

San Carlos is the oldest settlement in the whole province (1577), located in the Valles

Calchaquíes, 24 kilometers from Cafayate. The village has preserved it’s colonial architecture, influenced by the presence of the Jesuits who arrived in 1630. Also outstanding is the church built in the middle of the 19th century, which has paintings from the Cusco School of Art. And regarding museums, its archeological collection is very interesting.

Campamento Vespucio has some remarkable qualities for nature lovers: located 345 kilometers to the northeast of the capital, the area is kept as a treasure of Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales (YPF). And, it is surrounded y mountain ranges and is an ideal place for activities like trekking, photographic safaris, bird watching, and other things.

Guachipas, finally, has something quite extraordinary, difficult to find elsewhere: there are some 33 preserved wings in which one can view rock paintings created by the first settlers in the region between the 10th and 14th century. This route is found only 30 kilometers from the village and is located in the Valle de Lerma.

ey there, Tiranos Temblad is back. After a halt—too long for all its fans— during 2017, the most famous Uruguayan web bulletin has begun to publish a video in April. What are we talking about? Agustín Ferrando Trenchi is the creator of the cycle that from six years ago shakes strong both bands of the Río de la Plata.

“Tiranos Temblad: weekly summary of Uruguayan events” is a news stage in which events are compiled for YouTube videos, chosen by Trenchi himself. But, it is important to know the kinds of things that will

En sus capítulos -de unos diez minutos de duración-, el programa se mete con la cotidianidad de la vida uruguaya, mostrando a turistas que descubren el país, a uruguayos que recorren el mundo, o a situaciones tan banales como un perro paseando por la costa o un hombre haciendo un asado con su familia. En tono humorístico, el programa es relatado por su creador con una voz en off, mientras las imágenes de los distintos videos van plasmando “todo lo que pasó”.

Todo se inició el 25 de diciembre de 2012, con un video nuevo cada semana -o uno cada dos semanas-. Desde ese momento el programa fue un éxito absoluto en YouTube, con miles de reproducciones y más de setenta capítulos en total. Incluso, desde la Argentina se fueron realizando algunos homenajes, tanto de fanáticos como de actores o realizadores visuales, llevando el título de “Argentinos Temblad”. Cada episodio está dividido en secciones, que con el tiempo fueron tomando una entidad más fuerte, como “el crack de la semana” (donde se elige un ganador entre distintas personas que mostraron alguna destreza especial), “el enigma de la semana” (en donde se vislumbran misterios del país), o “el momento incómodo de la semana” (pequeños bloopers). Además, una canción hace las veces de himno de las emisiones: “Uruguay es el mejor país, mejor que Francia, mejor que París”, dicta la letra, ya famosa por esas tierras.

In a humorous way, the program is narrated by its off-camera creator while the images of different videos are showing “all that is happening.”

It all began on December 25, 2012 with a new video each week or once every two weeks. From that beginning the program became a great hit on YouTube with thousands of events and more than 70 total episodes. This included from Argentina some celebrations and favorites of fans of actors and visual creators, carrying the title of “Temblad Argentines”. Each episode or chapter is divided into sections that with time became stronger, like “the crack of the week” (where the winner was chosen among people

Algo así pasa con un perro, denominado “el perro estatua”, que supuestamente está siempre en un muelle, completamente quieto, y ahora recibe visitas de quienes lo buscan para tomarse una foto con él. Incluso, desde la web oficial se puede comprar merchandising de la marca, y una de las remeras reza orgullosamente el eslogan “Yo salí en Tiranos Temblad”.

Lo increíble es que el concepto trascendió YouTube y Ferrando comenzó a realizar un ciclo similar para el famoso canal de dibujos animados, Cartoon Network.

And, beyond its success with an audience, why was Tiempos Temblad one of the most important Uruguayan viral phenoms? Because the stars are common and everyday people and the program makes them “famous,” for example, when they are on the program, the mom is a typical grandmother that is filmed with her grandchildren and becomes the center of the cycle. Something then happens with a dog, called “the statue dog,” that supposedly is always on the dock, completely quiet, and not get visits from people that want to take his picture. This means that a web official can buy brand merchandising and one of the t-shirts proudly carries the statement “I went out with Tiranos Temblad.”

The unbelievable thing is that the idea went beyond YouTube and Ferrando began to make a cycle similar to the famous animation channel, Cartoon Network.

a diseñadora Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada estampa sus diseños por primera vez en un vehículo de una compañía de autobuses de Cantabria (España), NR Ruiz, con motivo de su 60 aniversario.

Hasta la fecha, Ruiz de la Prada, cuya trayectoria fue reconocida el pasado año con el Premio Nacional de la Moda, ha diseñado ropa, zapatos, perfumes, relojes, papelería y muebles decorados, tapicería, disfraces y hasta etiquetas para botellas de vino, pero nunca antes había intervenido sobre un autobús. Quizá por eso, que la diseñadora mostró sorpresa al serle propuesto el diseño de un autobús, el primero que realiza.

La colorida incorporación a la flota de la empresa que cuenta actualmente con 45 vehículos, y opera desde bases de la empresa en Santander, Ontaneda y Torrelavega, es un vehículo modelo Irizar i8, un vehículo inteligente, galardonado con el premio europeo al coche del año.

fter the notice this summer of Yellow Fever in Brazil, with the long lines for vaccinations at health centers, many travelers will have questioned if such vaccines are required and what recommendations there are for every destination and passenger.

The travelers aid company Assist Card provided a series of recommendations that we pass along.

The first thing that we should do is to consult with an informed professional (specialist in infections and travel health care) at least six weeks before our travel.

This is because some vaccines require 10 days to take effect and the certificate will be valid with that date; or if

Las recomendadas La vacuna contra la Fiebre Amarilla debería será aplicada si se quiere recorrer Sudamérica (excepto Chile y Uruguay). La recomendación se hace extensiva para los países del centro de África, no así Egipto, Marruecos o Sudáfrica, por ejemplo.

Otras vacunas importantes para viajar son: Tétanos, Difteria, Sarampión y Hepatitis.

Si se viaja a la India, Centro y Sudamérica y África, sería muy buena idea aplicarse la vacuna contra la Fiebre Tifoidea, aunque la vacuna no reemplaza todas las precauciones que debemos tener, bebiendo agua segura siempre (embotellada), no agregar hielo a las bebidas, no comer alimentos en sitios no seguros, y tratar siempre de comer alimentos cocidos.

Otros cuidados No hay vacunas contra el Dengue ni contra la Malaria pero en ambos casos hay que evitar las picaduras de mosquitos en países donde haya brotes activos de estas enfermedades, al igual que las medicinas preventivas para la Malaria que debe recomendarle su médico.

Claro que salir con una asistencia al viajero es de vital importancia.

o es habitual que los clubes de fútbol se involucren en campañas como la realizada a inicios de la actual temporada por Chaco For Ever, el equipo que estuvo dispuesto hasta a cambiar su camiseta.

Claro que suelen hacerlo para generar ingresos en venta de merchandising, pero generalmente son los denominados clubes grandes los que tienen la capacidad de realizar semejante movida marketinera. Por eso llamó la atención que el domingo 4 de febrero al recibir a Defensores de Belgrano de Villa Ramallo por

t is unusual for soccer clubs to get involved in campaigns like the one carried out at the beginning of this season by Chaco Forever, the team that was willing to change his shirt.

Of course they usually do it to generate money in merchandising sales, but generally they are the big clubs that can carry out that marketing move. Thus, it attracted attention on Sunday, February 4, when they faced Defensores de Belgrano from Villa Ramallo, for the second round of Zone B of the Federal A, with a very different shirt. El Club Chaco For Ever fue fundado el 27 de julio de 1913. En 1960 inauguró su estadio y se codeó con los grandes al competir en los Nacionales de 1967/73/74/79, 1980 y 1983.

El 27 de mayo de 1989 fue campeón del ex Nacional B, ascendiendo a Primera División.

En la temporada 90/9 descendió.

El peor momento institucional del club fue en diciembre de 2010, cuando se levantó la quiebra y el club volvió a manos de sus socios. Y hoy se ilusiona en el Federal A y se suma a esta campaña ambientalista.

Repercusiones La iniciativa del club se hizo sentir y Olé se hizo eco de la idea al publicar una nota con imágenes de la camiseta.“Chaco pelea para que su bosque sea For Ever”, tituló.

What they are defending The Chaco Rainforest is the source of pure air and fruits, it is an animal habitat and indispensable in the reduction of global warming and the lessening of the consequences of climate changes.

This forest, the second most important in world terms after the Amazon, and with the greatest biodiversity in South America, is a victim of indiscriminate cutting. Lack of regulation and the absence of control policies, located the Chaco region at the top of 11 places with the greatest deforestation in the world.

i bien la existencia de marcas de moda que utilizan materiales sustentables, algodones orgánicos y tinturas no contaminantes ya tienen un lugar en las principales ciudades del mundo, en general son producciones escasas y con una distribución a escala local.

Pero poco a poco las grandes marcas, incluso las denominadas de “lujo” se han ido sumando a la ola ecologista y ya son varias las que marcan tendencia con el uso de materiales que no involucren el sufrimiento animal, por lo tanto van abandonando las pieles y los cueros.

Una marca fur-free Gucci se suma a una todavía reducida, pero muy significativa legión de casas de moda fur-free entre las que se encuentran Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger así como Armani, Hugo Boss o Stella McCartney.

La decisión de la casa italiana fue dada a conocer por el presidente de la Maison, Marco Bizzarri, quien aseguró haberla tomado en conjunto con el diseñador Alessandro Michele, que lleva revolucionando Gucci desde que asumió su dirección creativa. Bizarri destacó este gesto como un signo de evolución en la marca y habló de la necesidad de aprovechar la tecnología disponible para conseguir la misma calidad de piel sin dañar animales.

La prohibición del uso de pieles en sus prendas entrará en vigor a partir de la colección primaveraverano 2018. Mientras tanto, el gigante del lujo italiano subastará las prendas de piel que aún le queden, y destinará lo que recabe a organizaciones de defensa de los derechos de los animales.

Trabajando de la mano con la organización Fur-Free Alliance, Gucci se compromete a no utilizar pieles de animales como visón, coyote, zorro, conejo o mapache. Decisión que contrasta con el uso que venía haciendo de la piel en prendas que alcanzaron el éxito como sus mocasines de 2015 o sus mini abrigos de hasta 28.000 euros.

Tendencia mundial La firma norteamericana Tommy Hilfiger va desandando el camino de confeccionar prendas respetuosas con el medio ambiente desde hace más de 10 años, cuando decidió utilizar materiales que no hayan causado sufrimiento animal. Incluso muchas de sus fragancias son veganas.

Mi compañía está tomando una decisión que refleja nuestra preocupación y cuidado del medio ambiente y los derechos de los animales” declararon.

Una voz de alerta La joven inglesa, Stella McCartney, hija del famoso Beatle, Paul McCartney, fue una de las primeras en ponerse al frente de una nueva generación de diseñadores que no utilizan productos que involucren al sufrimiento animal rehusando utilizar pieles o cuero en sus colecciones. Sus zapatos, cinturones y bolsos están fabricados con materiales alternativos, más sostenibles y respetuosos, tanto con los animales como con el planeta.

Ella sostiene que “La gente de la moda simplemente no quiere escuchar los mensajes. Me sorprende, ya que se supone que la moda va de eso, de cambios. Sólo puedo pensar que no les importa tanto como a los que trabajan en otro tipo de sectores.

Así que, sí, creo que la gente de la moda es bastante insensible”.

Los que recién llegan A las empresas mencionadas antes se le ha sumado Donatella Versace, quien ha declarado que “no quiero matar animales para hacer moda. No me parece correcto”.

Y no se quedó atrás Michael Kors, famoso diseñador de carteras, quien prometió que su marca no hará productos con pieles a partir de diciembre de este 2018.

Ahora es tiempo para que los consumidores comiencen a hacer su tarea.

ara celebrar los 100 años de aquel primer Mundial, organizado por la Federación Internacional de Fútbol Asociados -FIFA-, cuya sede fuera Uruguay, tres países sudamericanos buscan ser la sede de la copa del Centenario.

La iniciativa Argentina, junto a los países vecinos, presentaron su candidatura conjunta bajo la denominación “2030 - 100 Juntos – Uruguay/ Argentina/ Paraguay”.

El pasado mes de marzo en la Embajada Argentina en Madrid,

España, se llevó adelante la presentación de la candidatura conjunta en una reunión encabezada por el ministro de Turismo de la Nación, Gustavo Santos; el coordinador general de Comunicación Estratégica de la Secretaría de Deportes de la Nación, Fernando Marín; el secretario de Deportes de la Nación, Carlos Mac Allister y el presidente de la Asociación Argentina de Fútbol, Claudio Tapia, y el embajador argentino, Ramón Puerta.

La fecha elegida coincidió con el partido amistoso que disputaron las selecciones de España y Argentina (¡que perdimos por 6-1!) en el Wanda Metropolitano, y a cinco meses del acuerdo formalizado en octubre de 2017 por los presidentes Mauricio Macri (Argentina), Horacio Cartes (Paraguay) y Tabaré Vázquez (Uruguay).

“Hoy confirmamos la postulación para organizar el Mundial de Fútbol 2030”, dijo el Ministro Santos y subrayó que los fundamentos son claros por la historia, en alusión a los cien años que se cumplirán del primer mundial de 1930 en Uruguay.

El ministro de Turismo pidió a quienes lideran este compromiso iberoamericano que “ayuden con su palabra y protagonismo para instalar el sueño del Mundial en la región; ya que es una oportunidad enorme para que nuestros países se presenten como imagen al mundo y permita que el turismo de la región se desarrolle”.

El embajador argentino, Ramón Puerta dijo que es “un fenómeno que va más allá del fútbol”, el deporte ejerce en el turismo un motor económico con un poderío inusitado. Esto es una cuestión de Estado que beneficiará en 2030 al Mercosur y habla del entendimiento y la armonía que tenemos. El fútbol va más allá de las razas y los continentes, por eso creo que elegir estos tres países es un acierto”.

Carlos Mac Allister, declaró que trabajar en la candidatura de este Mundial es “ilusionante” y agradeció a “un grupo muy importante de empresarios el camino que emprenderán para generar inclusión y que los países no tengan tanto gasto”.

El embajador de Paraguay en España, Antonio Rivas Palacios, destacó que la candidatura conjunta es una “muestra de la integración entre los tres países” y que su celebración será “más que una ilusión para la gente”.

o celebrate 100 years since the first World Cup, organized by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), whose headquarter were Uruguay, three South American countries are seeking to host the Centennial Cup.

The initiative Argentina, together with neighbouring countries, presented their candidacy under the denomination “2030—100 together— Uruguay/Argentina/Paraguay.”

Last March at the Argentine Embassy in Madrid, the presentation of the joint candidacy was carried out in a meeting headed by the national Ministry of Tourism, Gustavo Santos; the general coordinator of Strategic Communications of the national Ministry of Sports, Fernando Marín; the national Secretary of Sports, Carlos Mac Allister, the president of the Argentine Football Association, Claudio Tapia, and the Argentine ambassador, Ramón Puerta.

The chosen date coincided with the friendly match that the teams from Spain and Argentina played (We lost 6-1!) and five months of the agreement formalized in October 2017 with Presidents Mauricio Macri (Argentina), Horacio Cartes (Paraguay), and Tabaré Vázquez (Uruguay).

La ilusión es mucha y todo sigue en pie. La decisión será tomada recién en el 2022 o 23, pero mientras tanto habrá que trabajar mucho para lograrlo.

The ambassador from Paraguay to Spain, Antonio Rivas Palacios, pointed out that the joint candidacy is a “show of the integration of the three countries” and that their celebration will be “more than a dream for the people.”

What’s next?

For 2030, England also has been proposed and is considered to have the background and lineage to get it. And it is no small matter that the English federation lost the site of the World Cup in 2018 and 2022 (won by Russia and Qatar) after the controversy of FIFA-Gate.

The hope is great and continuous. The decision will be made in 2022 or 2023, meanwhile there is a lot of work to be done.

uestra aerolínea trasladó a más de 200 familiares de soldados caídos en la Guerra de Malvinas y que finalmente fueron identificados a fines del año pasado, siendo ésta la primera aerolínea nacional que pisó el suelo de las islas desde que terminó el conflicto armado..

El 26 de marzo de 2018 desde Ezeiza viajaron unos 214 familiares de soldados argentinos caídos en la guerra para visitar el Cementerio Darwin y para que el gobierno británico les restituya pertenencias de los soldados fallecidos.

Los viajes se realizaron en dos aeronaves McDonnell Douglas MD-83 (matrícula LV–WGN y LV–AYD), de Andes Líneas Aéreas. Tras llegar ambos vuelos a la base aérea de Mount Pleasant, los familiares fueron trasladados por tierra hasta Darwin, que se encuentra a unos 40 minutos del aeropuerto.

El equipo de Andes Líneas Aéreas estuvo compuesto por una primera tripulación integrada por Hugo Pascual, Eric Herscovich, Paola Rastellino, Sofía Ledesma, Camila La Gresca y Carolina Lo Presti.

A national milestone

Our airlines carried more than 200 family members of fallen soldiers from the Malvinas War that were finally identified in the past year, being the first national airline that landed on the island since the ending of the armed conflict.

On March 26, 2018, 214 family members of Argentine fallen soldiers in the war traveled from Ezeiza to visit the Darwin Cemetery and to receive the belongins of the deceased soldiers.

The travel was aboard two McDonnell Douglas MD-83 (registration LV–WGN y LV–AYD of Andes Líneas Aéreas). After both flights arrived at the Mount Pleasant Air Base, the families were transported by land to Darwin about 40 minutes from the airport.

The Andes Líneas Aéreas team was made up of a first crew by Hugo Pascual, Eric Herscovich, Paola Rastellino, Sofía Ledesma, Camila La Gresca and Carolina Lo Presti. While the second were Miguel Cancrini, Alberto Andrés Castillo, Verónica Castro Huergo, Daniela Pugliese, Yesica Franzese and Carolina Incarnato. The mechanics that traveled were Jorge Álvarez, Rubén Martini, and agents were Mauro Lemole and Juan Ignacio Gil Herrera.
