In my family when we say The name for this or that, It’s fun to use a made-up word Like for cat.

You see, we have a special way Of naming things we see.

It’s turned into a silly game My family plays with me.

I guess you’d like to know just what We named these crazy words.

These giggly, squiggly family terms To us are known as .

flerds

weefle -ball

ishy -blanket

beebobbles -peas

One flerd I remember We made up years ago, is the goofy thing That we call our toes.

tooders

tooders [TOO ders]: toes—from tiny baby pudgy toes, to 100 year old wrinkly toes.

dobby [DAH bee]: binky, pacifier, plug, soother, ba ba etc.

When I was a baby I got all sad and sobby.

I didn’t want my pacifier, Boo hoos were for my .

When our milk is kind of old And just a little stinky, We don’t say, “It’s going sour,” We say, “Yuck! It’s !”

blinky

blinky [BLING kee]: a word to describe a drink, usually milk, when it’s just about to go sour and may be slightly stinky or “off” tasting. Although blinky usually refers to milk, orange juice can get blinky too.

When we hear you sneeze a sneeze, A giant wet kerchoo!!!

We say, “ !” Imagine that!

Rather than “Bless you!”
