Mei-Ann Chen music director An innovative and passionate force both on and off the conductor’s podium, Mei-Ann Chen is one of America’s most dynamic young conductors. Music Director of the Memphis Symphony since 2010 and of the Chicago Sinfonietta since 2011, she has infused both orchestras with energy, enthusiasm and high-level music-making, galvanizing their audiences and communities alike. A sought-after guest conductor, Ms. Chen’s reputation as a compelling communicator has resulted in growing popularity with orchestras both nationally and internationally.

Following debut performances with Sweden’s Gothenburg Symphony, Canada’s Calgary Philharmonic, and Brazil’s Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra, closing the season for the Wintergreen Festival in Virginia and the Texas Music Festival in Houston, and concerts with Grant Park Music Festival in Chicago, Maestra Chen’s 2014-15 season includes concerts throughout the United States and in Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and Taiwan. Performances of note include Maestra Chen leading Germany’s Badische Staatskapelle Karlsruhe and Taiwan’s National Symphony Orchestra in November 2014, and San Francisco Symphony’s renowned Chinese New Year celebration and the Netherlands Philharmonic at the Concertgebouw in February 2015.

Recent performance highlights include an impressive debut with the Indianapolis Symphony as a lastminute step-in engagement, debuts with the Chicago Symphony on its subscription series, the San Francisco Symphony, Detroit Symphony, Houston Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony (where she stepped in on short notice and was immediately re-engaged), and San Diego Symphony nationally, and engagements abroad with Austria’s Gross Orchester Graz, Brazil’s São Paulo Symphony, Finland’s Tampere Philharmonic, the Netherlands Philharmonic, NorrlandsOperan (Norrland’s Opera), the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, and Sweden’s Göteborgs Symfoniker. Among her many North American guesting credits are appearances with the symphony orchestras of Atlanta, Baltimore, Colorado, Columbus, Florida, Fort Worth, Grand Rapids, Nashville, North Carolina, Oregon, Pacific, Phoenix, Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver, and the National Symphony in Washington, D.C. Overseas guesting credits include the principal Danish orchestras, the BBC Scottish Symphony, Bournemouth Symphony, Orquestra Sinfonica Nacional de Mexico, Norwegian Radio Orchestra, and the Trondheim Symphony. U.S. summer music festivals credits include the Aspen Music Festival, Britt, Grand Teton, Wintergreen, and the Chautauqua Institute.

In addition to the 2012 Helen M. Thompson Award from the League of American Orchestras, Mei-Ann Chen’s skill on the podium, and as a music educator, has been recognized with several honors, awards and posts. In 2005 Ms. Chen became the first woman to win Copenhagen’s esteemed Malko Competition. She served as Assistant Conductor of the Atlanta Symphony and Baltimore Symphony, under the aegis of the League of American Orchestras, with the Oregon symphony as well. Recipient of the 2007 Taki Concordia Fellowship, she has appeared jointly with Marin Alsop and Stefan Sanderling in highly acclaimed subscription concerts with the Baltimore Symphony, Colorado Symphony and Florida Orchestra. In 2002, Ms. Chen was unanimously selected as Music Director of the Portland Youth Philharmonic in Oregon, the oldest of its kind and a model for many youth orchestras in the United States. During her five-year tenure with the orchestra, she led its sold-out debut in Carnegie Hall, received an ASCAP award for innovative programming, and developed new and unique musicianship programs for the orchestra’s members. She was also the recipient of a Sunburst Award from Young Audiences for her contribution to music education.

Born in Taiwan, Mei-Ann Chen has lived in the United States since 1989. She was the first student in New England Conservatory’s history to receive master’s degrees, simultaneously, in both violin and conducting, later studying with Kenneth Kiesler at the University of Michigan, where she earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in conducting. Ms. Chen also participated in the National Conducting Institute in Washington, D.C. and at the American Academy of Conducting in Aspen.

Conner Gray Covington assistant conductor

At 27 years old, Conner Gray Covington recently completed his second season as Assistant Conductor of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra.

In Memphis, he conducts various community, outreach, and education concerts while also serving as the Music Director of the Memphis Youth Symphony Program. He also collaborates with Ballet Memphis for their annual production of The Nutcracker. A recipient of the 2014 Career Assistance Award from the Solti Foundation U.S., he completed his master’s degree in orchestral conducting in 2012 at the Eastman School of Music where he studied with Neil Varon.

Covington was recently invited by members of the Vienna Philharmonic to attend the 2014 Salzburg Festival a recipient of the Ansbacher Fellowship for Young Conductors. He has also served as a regular cover conductor for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and recently conducted the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra in a masterclass with Miguel Harth-Bedoya. In 2012, Covington competed in the prestigious Malko Conducting Competition in Copenhagen, Denmark, where he was the youngest participant to advance to the third round. In Denmark he conducted the Danish National Symphony for a jury headed by Lorin Maazel. Covington also recently competed in the Tokyo International Conducting Competition where he worked with the New Japan Philharmonic and advanced to the semi-final round.

In the summers of 2011 and 2012, Covington attended the Aspen Music Festival as a fellowship student in the American Academy of Conducting at Aspen. There he worked closely with Robert Spano, Larry Rachleff, and Hugh Wolff as well as other guest conductors throughout the summer. He has also attended the Pierre Monteux School for Conductors where he studied with Michael Jinbo.

Born in Louisiana, Covington grew up in East Tennessee and began playing the violin at age 11. He completed high school at the renowned High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas.

He went on to study violin at the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston with distinguished soloist and pedagogue Kyung Sun Lee. Covington went on to finish his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Arlington where he studied violin with Dr. Martha Walvoord and conducting with Dr. Clifton Evans. At UTA, he served as both concertmaster and assistant conductor of the UTA Symphony, and in May of 2010 he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in violin performance.

Jon Kimura Parker piano

“What an amazing way to mark the 100th anniversary of The Rite of Spring.

Stunning!” These words from the Toronto Star echoed glowing reviews across North America for Jon Kimura Parker’s recent CD, Rite, which includes world premiere recordings of his solo piano transcriptions of Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring and Petrouchka. Mr. Parker also celebrates this special centenary with recitals throughout 2014.

A veteran of the international concert stage, Jon Kimura Parker has performed as guest soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra and Wolfgang Sawallisch in Carnegie Hall, toured Europe with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Andre Previn, and shared the stage with Jessye Norman at Berlin’s Philharmonie. Conductors he has recently worked with include David Afkham, Pablo Heras-Cassado, Claus Peter Flor, Jeffrey Kahane, Carlos Kalmar, Peter Oundjian, Larry Rachleff, Xu Zhong and Pinchas Zukerman. A true Canadian ambassador of music, Mr. Parker has given command performances for Queen Elizabeth II, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the Prime Ministers of Canada and Japan. He is an Officer of The Order of Canada, his country’s highest civilian honor.

He performs as duo partner regularly with James Ehnes, Lynn Harrell, Orli Shaham, and Cho-Liang Lin, with whom he has given world premieres of sonatas by Paul Schoenfield, John Harbison and Steven Stucky.

An unusually versatile artist, Mr. Parker has also jammed with Audra McDonald, Bobby McFerrin and Doc Severinsen. As a member of the outreach project Piano Plus, Mr. Parker toured remote areas including the Canadian Arctic, performing classical music and rock’n’roll on everything from upright pianos to electronic keyboards. In commemoration of his special performances in war-torn Sarajevo in 1995, he was a featured speaker alongside humanitarians Elie Wiesel and Paul Rusesabagina at the 50th Anniversary of the relief organization AmeriCares.

An active media personality, Mr. Parker hosted the television series Whole Notes on Bravo! and CBC Radio’s Up and Coming. His YouTube channel features the Concerto Chat video series, with illuminating discussions of the piano concerto repertoire.

Last season Mr. Parker appeared as soloist with the major orchestras of Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and toured the United States with Bramwell Tovey and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. He also had the honor of being the last guest pianist to work with the Tokyo String Quartet in their final season.

Highlights of this season include solo appearances with the St. Louis Symphony with David Robertson, the San Diego Symphony with Jahja Ling, the Seattle Symphony with Ludovic Morlot, the Shepherd School Symphony Orchestra with Larry Rachleff, and the National Arts Centre Orchestra with Hannu Lintu. He appears at the Hong Kong Festival with Gary Hoffman, Vadim Repin and Joyce Yang, and begins two major chamber music collaborations, with the Miró Quartet, and in a trio with violinist Martin Beaver and cellist Clive Greensmith.

A committed educator, Jon Kimura Parker is Professor of Piano at The Shepherd School of Music at Rice University. His students have won international piano competitions, performed with major orchestras across the U.S., and given recitals in Amsterdam, Beijing, New York and Moscow. He has lectured at The Juilliard School, The Steans Institute, New York University, and Yale University. Mr. Parker is also Artistic Advisor of the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival, where he has given world premieres of new works by Peter Schickele and Jake Heggie.

Jon Kimura Parker has recorded music of Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Chopin and PDQ Bach for Telarc, Mozart for CBC, and Stravinsky under his own label. His new recording, Fantasy, featuring not only the Schubert Wanderer Fantasy and the Schumann Fantasy but also William Hirtz’s brilliant fantasy on themes from The Wizard of Oz, is scheduled for release in early 2014.

“Jackie” Parker studied with Edward Parker and Keiko Parker privately, Lee Kum-Sing at the Vancouver Academy of Music and the University of British Columbia, Robin Wood at the Victoria Conservatory, Marek Jablonski at the Banff Centre, and Adele Marcus at The Juilliard School. He won the Gold Medal at the 1984 Leeds International Piano Competition. He lives in Houston with his wife, violinist Aloysia Friedmann and their daughter Sophie. Laura Ardan clarinet

Principal Clarinet Laura Ardan has been with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO) since 1982 and holds the endowed Robert Shaw Chair.

She has been a featured soloist with the Orchestra in works by Mozart, Weber, Debussy, Copland, Bernstein, Finzi, Rossini, Shaw, and Michael Gandolfi, and has also performed with the Aspen Music Festival.

Ms. Ardan has performed in the Tanglewood, Marlboro, Mostly Mozart, and Bellingham Music Festivals, and as a guest artist in “Emanuel Ax Invites...” on the Great Performers series at Lincoln Center. A frequent guest of the Atlanta Chamber Players, Georgian Chamber Players, and Emory Chamber Music Society, she plays regularly at the Highlands Chamber Music Festival in North Carolina and the Grand Teton Chamber Music Festival in Wyoming.

A student of Roger Hiller and Stanley Drucker, Ms. Ardan attended The Juilliard School of Music on scholarships from both Juilliard and the Naumburg Foundation. Before joining the ASO, she was a resident clarinetist and teaching artist at the Lincoln Center Institute for four years. She also played in the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra for two seasons.

Chelsea Miller soprano

Chelsea Miller (soprano) will perform Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, and Thérèse in Les mamelles de Tirésias this season with Opera Memphis. She is an Artist Diploma candidate at the University of Memphis and an Opera Memphis Artist-in-Residence. At Opera Memphis, she was most recently seen as Miss Silverpeal in The Impressario and Jamie the Adventurer in The Christmas List. Ms. Miller received a Master of Music in vocal performance at Louisiana State University and a bachelor’s degree in music education at Springfield, Missouri.

Dominic Johnson baritone

Dominic Johnson (baritone) will perform Masetto in Don Giovanni and cover the role of Father in Hansel and Gretel in the Opera Memphis 2014 season. Mr. Johnson will also be performing the title role in Le Nozze di Figaro at the University of Memphis this fall. Other roles include Leporello in Don Giovanni, Junius in Rape of Lucretia, Sam in Trouble in Tahiti, Papageno in The Magic Flute, and Guglielmo in Cosi Fan Tutte. Mr. Johnson was The Lyric Opera of Kansas City Apprentice from 2012-2014. Mr. Johnson is an Opera Memphis Artist-in-Residence, and he is pursuing an Artist Diploma at the University of Memphis.

The Gary Beard Chorale The Gary Beard Chorale is a twenty-three member ensemble selected from the nationally acclaimed Lindenwood Christian Church Chancel Choir, a 95-voice ensemble which has been called “an extraordinary chorus...which demonstrates the rich rewards which flow from dedication, discipline and competent direction.” (Alexandria Daily, 1986) The Chorale made its New York debut in September 1987 - the first concert in the newly renovated Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, and a review in The National Christian Reporter heralded the Chorale as “an exciting new enterprise full of promise, energy and talent...The Chorale achieved a polished sound indicative of the professional level of musicianship of its members.”

Gary Beard director

Gary Beard has performed as organ, piano and tenor soloist, conductor and accompanist at some of the world’s music centers, including New York’s Town and Carnegie Halls, The Spoleto Festival USA, the Brevard Center, St. Peter’s Cathedral, Salzburg, Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris, with numerous orchestras and festivals and under such esteemed conductors as Robert Shaw, James Conlon, C. William Harwood, Thomas Schippers and Michael Stern. He is Artist-in-Residence at Lindenwood Church in Memphis, TN, where he has developed one of the country’s most acclaimed music programs.

He was awarded the Germantown (TN) Arts Alliance’s Arts and Humanities Award “for his vision, dedication and devotion to the highest standards of excellence through his notable and distinguished career in the performing arts.”

Adé Williams violin

“Adé … a rising star … a Chicagoland wunderkind who just turned 15 … showed every promise of someday being known not only as a one-name performer but also as one singular sensation… With a brilliant smile and poise beyond her years, she played with a sweet tone, an appreciation for dynamics, secure runs, expressive bowing and strength of character, uncowed either by the orchestra or the crowd of 2,928.” Grand Rapids Press (July 13, 2012) Adé Williams, 16, is first place laureate of the Junior Division of the Sphinx Competition (2012), the Vivaldi Seasons Competition (Cambridge, 2012), the DePaul Concerto Festival for Young Performers (2011), Sejong Cultural Society’s Music Competition (2010, 2009), and many other competitions, beginning with the Walgreen’s National Concerto Competition (2005) at age eight.

Recent thrills include acceptance as an incoming freshman to study with Ida Kavafian at the Curtis Institute of Music (2014), international soloing in England, Switzerland, and Bermuda, three U.S. tours with Sphinx Virtuosi (2011–2014), and a solo debut at Carnegie Hall (2013). Adé’s orchestral debut with the Chicago Sinfonietta (2004) at age six as that orchestra’s youngest ever soloist launched a wonderful succession of solo performances: South Side Family Chamber Orchestra (2006); Highland Park Strings at Ravinia (2007); Lake Forest Symphony (2009); Illinois Symphony Orchestra with Rachel Barton Pine at Millennium Park (2010); Waukegan Symphony Orchestra (2011, 2014) where she is artist in residence; and Sphinx Laureate extended solo series (2012–2014), including solos with Ann Arbor Symphony, Buffalo Philharmonic, Butler County Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Erie Chamber Orchestra, Florida Orchestra, Grand Rapids Symphony, Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra, KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra, Modesto Symphony, New World Symphony, Northwest Indiana Symphony, and South Bend Symphony.

In 2004 Adé founded SugarStrings (SugarStrings.com), a string trio of cousins known for exhilarating performances on 98.7 WFMT, CNN/Essence, NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, ABC7, WTTW’s Chicago Tonight, Chicago Symphony Orchestra/Milwaukee Symphony/Ravinia affairs, and numerous civic and charitable events for the City of Chicago, La Rabida Children’s Hospital, Haiti relief, Caribbean Children’s Fund, Living Room Café Soup Kitchen, The Cradle, and other worthy causes around the country.

In 2012, Adé produced her first Adé & Friends benefit concert for a school on Chicago’s south side. In her second, she plans to eliminate child homelessness in the Chicago Public Schools. To discuss her musical life and philanthropic ambitions, Adé has been invited to speak at an Arts and Culture course at the University of Michigan (2012), the KIN Global Summit 2013 at the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University, and the Milken Institute’s Changing the World in Innovative Ways Conference panel, “Why Wait: Young People Blazing Trails” (2014).

Adé is a Betsey and John Puth Fellow (2012–2014), an Alexandra and John Nichols Scholar (2010–2012), and the first William Warfield Scholar (2010–present) at the Music Institute of Chicago’s Academy program for gifted pre-college musicians where she studies privately with artist faculty Almita and Roland Vamos. She is also a From the Top/Jack Kent Cooke Scholar (2013), Delta Sigma Theta’s “Emerging Artist” (2013), recipient of the Linda and Isaac Stern Charitable Foundation Award, in memory of Isaac Stern (2013), a Bauder Fellow (2012), a Links Fellow (2012), and a Harry Lennix Scholar (2001). She is a charter member of the Junior Division of the Chicago Music Association.

Adé enjoys time with friends and family (especially little brother, cellist Jonathan), ballet, travel, opera, Shakespeare, and driving.

Jeffrey Reed conductor

Known for concerts that delicately combine the best in classical and popular music, Jeffrey Reed is generating excitement throughout the entertainment industry for his ability to breathe new life into orchestral programming. In his book, Small is the New Big, bestselling author and marketing guru Seth Godin called Reed’s programming “clever” and praised him for the “totally different way” he approaches orchestral programming. Reed is the creator-producer of sixteen retro concerts, which bring to life popular recordings from the ‘40s, ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s through the use of singers, rock band and orchestra.

In his capacity as a conductor, he has worked with a diverse group of entertainers, including Neil Sedaka, Keith Emerson, Glen Campbell, Sandi Patty, Larry Gatlin and Chuck Barris. He has appeared with the Royal Philharmonic at London’s Royal Albert Hall and with the symphonies of St. Petersburg (Russia), Busan (South Korea), and Nashville, Omaha, Alabama, Charleston, Winston-Salem and Louisville. In coming seasons, he will conduct the Omaha Symphony and two concerts with Symphony Orchestra Augusta. Neil Sedaka has invited him to return to London in October 2014 for a repeat engagement with the Royal Philharmonic at the Royal Albert Hall.

Reed is the founder, music director and conductor of Orchestra Kentucky and served as music director of the North Charleston Pops and the Murfreesboro Symphony.

Susan Norman vocalist

Susan Norman, vocalist, has appeared with the North Charleston Pops, the Charleston Symphony, the Winston-Salem Symphony and Orchestra Kentucky. She will appear with Symphony Orchestra Augusta and the Omaha Symphony, in the coming months. Susan grew up singing in her hometown of Danville, Virginia.

She attended Liberty University, where she sang with the Sounds of Liberty on a weekly, national television program. Apart from family, cooking, and blogging, singing and making music is the greatest joy of her life.

Jeffrey Van Wye vocalist

Jeffrey Van Wye has been active in the world of music on both stage and screen for the last forty years. Born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas, he moved to Nashville in 1975 to pursue a career in music. He found his home at Opryland USA, and spent seven seasons performing a wide variety of shows, including Country Music USA; For Me and My Gal; I Hear America Singing; Broadway; and Music, Music, Music with Brenda Lee. In addition to his time at Opryland, Jeffrey spent time in Memphis at the Gaslight Dinner Theatre with leading roles in Oklahoma and Fiddler on the Roof. He has also appeared as Audrey Two in Little Shop of Horrors at The Barn Dinner Theatre, as well as in Man of La Mancha, Shenandoah, Sweet Charity, and All that Jazz.

On screen, Jeffrey spent time working as a singer on the popular television program Nashville Now. He also performed a featured role on The Dolly Parton Show and made a number of appearances on PBS’s Music and Me. For the last five years, he has performed with Orchestra Kentucky, based out of his home town of Bowling Green, most prominently in their Christmas shows as a featured soloist.

Lawrence Edwards artistic director of the memphis symphony chorus

Lawrence Edwards has been Artistic Director of the Memphis Symphony Chorus since the 1987 season. He has also been the Director of Choral Activities for the University of Memphis’ Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music since 1987. His responsibilities there include directing the vocal ensemble Sound Fuzion, and the University Singers. He also teaches and mentors both graduate and undergraduate students pursuing degrees in Choral Conducting. He is active as a choral clinician, working with junior and senior high school choirs.

Dr. Edwards received his undergraduate degree in music from Seattle Pacific University, where he directed the Seattle Pacific Singers. He holds both Masters and Doctoral degrees in Music from the University of Illinois at Champaign, where he studied orchestral conducting with Romanian conductor Mircia Cristescu. Prior to assuming his position at the University of Memphis and the Memphis Symphony, he was Director of Choral Activities, Music Director and Conductor of Musical Theatre at West Virginia University in Morgantown.

Terry Mike Jeffrey Band Fronting his own band since the 1970s, Terry has performed all over the world including England, France, Belgium, Holland, Canada, Hawaii, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. His career highlights include a 1997 Emmy Award nomination for songwriting for TV’s “Sesame Street,” and featured vocalist with symphony orchestra “pops” series concerts. His guitar work is spotlighted on a Warner Brothers symphonic album. He was the musical director and had the starring role in “Elvis - An American Musical,” a New York-produced multi-media show organized by the producers of “Grease” and “Beatlemania.”

He toured the U.S. and Canada, with stops at the Fox Theatres, a Broadway run in the late 1980s, and Ryman Auditorium in 20002001 performing in “Stand By Your Man - The Tammy Wynette Story” at Nashville. Terry’s other musical theater adventures have included regional productions of “Beehive” and “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown,” with fifty-seven guest appearances on TNN’s “Music City Tonight with Crook & Chase” in the mid-nineties. A regular as a solo vocalist and musician on the show, Terry Mike shared the stage with the likes of Shania Twain and Eddy Arnold. He has performed in shows with such stars as Jewel, Los Lobos, Dixie Chicks, Fats Domino, Mavericks, Steve Wariner, Ricky Skaggs, Leon Russell, Chet Atkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Travis Tritt.

Patron Information Your attendance constitutes consent for use of your likeness and/or voice on all video and/or audio recordings and in photographs made during Symphony events.

Before the concert Box Office Location/Hours: The Box Office is located at 585 South Mendenhall Road, between Cadence Bank and Folk’s Folly. We are open weekdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Box Office at the concert venue opens 90 minutes prior to each performance and remains open until intermission begins. Please note that for concerts at the Cannon Center on the night of, concert tickets must be purchased through the Ticketmaster Box Office located in the east hallway. Services and Will Call for MSO patrons are located near the Box Office at each venue.

Venues: Saturday First Tennessee Masterworks and Memphis Symphony Pops concerts are performed at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts, 255 North Main Street in Downtown Memphis. Paid parking is available in the Cook Convention Center garage or surface lots.

Friday performances of the Paul & Linnea Bert Classic Accent Series are at the Lindenwood Christian Church, 2400 Union Avenue in Midtown Memphis. First Tennessee Masterworks Sundays are performed at the Germantown Performing Arts Center (GPAC), 1801 Exeter Road in Germantown. Free parking is available at Lindenwood Christian Church and GPAC. During the concert Cameras and Recording Devices: No photos or video recordings are allowed during the performance due to potential injury to performers on stage.

Concert Preview: Free pre-concert discussions begin 45 minutes prior to each First Tennessee Masterworks series performance. Join us in the Cannon Center Morgan Keegan Mezzanine Lobby and the GPAC Ballet Room to get the inside scoop on the upcoming performance.

Wheelchair Seating: Wheelchair seating is available upon request at each of our concert venues. Please call our Box Office for more information.

Ticket Information Single Tickets: Tickets for all events are available through the MSO Box Office by phone, (901) 537-2525, in person, or online at www.MemphisSymphony.org. Please note that vouchers and coupons may only be redeemed at the MSO Office and must be done in person.

Gift Certificates: Give the gift of music! Gift certificates to the Memphis Symphony Orchestra may be purchased in any denomination. Please call the Box Office at (901) 537-2525 for details.

Refunds/Exchanges: There are no refunds or exchanges on single ticket purchases or returned tickets. Subscribers have the benefit of exchanging their subsription tickets. All subscription ticket exchanges are subject to availability. Ticket exchanges must be made at least 24 hours before the date of the original performances.

Lost Tickets: Subscribers can have lost tickets reprinted by calling the Box Office at (901) 537-2525 or visiting the Box Office prior to the concert.

Student/Child Tickets: Student Tickets are available for $5.00 (plus applicable processing fees) to regular series concerts based on availability. Please come to the Box Office prior to the performance. Students must show a valid student ID. A maximum of one ticket per ID is available. All discount tickets are subject to availability.

Group Discounts: Groups of 10 or more can receive a discount of 20% on adult tickets. For more information, call our Box Office at (901) 537-2525.

Other Information • Please turn off all cell phones and pagers when the performance begins.

• Food and beverages are not allowed in the concert halls.

• Lost and Found is located at the Box Office at each venue. Management is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property.

• Restrooms are located off the main floor, lobby and balcony areas of the concert hall.

Facilities for wheel chair bound patrons are also available in each main floor restroom.

First Aid • Contact an usher for assistance.

• Emergency Evacuation – In case of a fire or other emergency, please use the exit nearest to your seat, indicated by a lighted Exit sign. This is the shortest route out of the performing arts center. Please be sure to walk to the exit – do not run.
