A Symphony for the Devil: The Music of the Rolling Stones with Satisfaction Sat., May 17, 2014 Satisfaction is the international touring tribute show dedicated to the “World’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band.” This highly acclaimed production showcases the most authentic cast that audiences have ever witnessed. The likes of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and supporting cast bring a colorful performance to over fifty years of classic hits.

Wicked Divas SAT., Feb. 15, 2014 Wicked good!

This concert of diva showstoppers from Broadway, opera and popular music is highlighted by selections from the Tony Awardwinning musical Wicked. In addition to favorites from the “untold tale of the witches of Oz,” the program also includes favorites from Gypsy, Ragtime, and Titanic, and opera selections from George Bizet’s Carmen.

Peter And The Wolf Fri., Feb. 7, 2014 Mei-Ann Chen, conductor Britten: Simple Symphony Ravel: Mother Goose Suite Prokofiev: Peter and the Wolf A concert dedicated to children: Both the Prokofiev and Ravel selections depict contrasting portrayals of children’s stories.

Britten’s Simple Symphony is a charming work for string orchestra that is derived from melodies that he wrote as a young teenager.

Joy…ful Mendelssohn Fri., Mar. 28, 2014 Courtney Lewis, conductor Joy Brown Wiener, violin Stravinsky: Les Danses Concertantes Mendelssohn: Violin Concerto Haydn: Symphony No. 90 Founding MSO Concertmaster and lifelong Lindenwood member, Joy Brown Wiener, first appeared as soloist with the MSO sixty years ago, performing Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto. This reprisal of one of the violin’s most popular works celebrates this joyful occasion.
