Ideal Tributes has a simple mission – to continue the heritage and traditions of the funeral homes in their care, and to deepen their ties to the communities they serve. For more than 20 years, founders Glenn & Tiffany Blumenstein have been driven by their commitment to helping people in their time of need. This means working with them to plan the ideal memorial for their loved ones…one that’s based on their wishes, not some predefined process that has been around for decades. Prices are effective May 20, 2024 and are subject to change without notice.

The goods and services shown here are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason, in writing, in our statement document which describes the funeral goods and services you selected.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

A. Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff $1,995 00

Our charge includes consultation with the family or responsible party; staff and facilities to respond to request for services, coordinating service plans with cemetery, crematory, and/ or other parties involved in the final disposition of the deceased; securing official documents and necessary registrations; and sheltering of the deceased. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burial, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

B. Embalming by Licensed Embalmer $950 00

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. We recommend you choose embalming for services such as a funeral with a viewing

C. Green Embalming $1,195 00

Green embalming is that which is done with formaldehyde-free embalming fluids, made of nontoxic and biodegradable ingredients and essential oils.

D. Other Preparation of the Body $350 00

Included are cosmetology, dressing, and casketing of the deceased.

Additional Charges as Needed:

• Post Autopsy Care $150.00

• Post Organ Donation charge $200.00

E. Essential Care of Deceased When Not Embalmed $395 00 Includes use of refrigeration facility for up to 3 days.

F. Bathing, Disinfection, Dressing, and Casketing When Not Embalmed $425 00

Includes use of our facilities when family or chevra kadisha is involved. (Use of dry ice $200.00 extra). G. Sheltering of remains beyond three days, per

I. Set-up for At-Home Visitation/Services $195 00

Includes Funeral Director and staff to assist the family with bathing and sanitary care, as well as dressing and casketing to afford longer in-home viewing for family and friends

J. Services held on a weekend day $450 00

K. Services held on a holiday $650 00

L. Services of Funeral Director and staff to arrange international shipout $500 00

FACILITIES, STAFF & EQUIPMENT

A. Use of facilities and staff for calling hours/visitation $750 00 Includes 2 hours. ($350.00 for each additional hour)

B. Use of facilities and staff for ceremony* held at the Funeral Home $750 00

C. Use of equipment and staff for off-premise ceremony*/calling hours $795 00

D. Use of equipment and staff for off-premise calling hours and ceremony* $1,095 00

E. Use of equipment and staff for graveside service $750 00

F. Use of Facility and staff for Calling Hours with Urn when outside service provider has been used $1,200 00 Includes use of funeral home for 2 hours of Calling Hours, to include 1 doorman. $350.00 per hour or portion thereof for additional time over and above 2 hours *A Ceremony is any funeral, memorial, or celebration of life service, not to include viewing.

ALTERNATIVE SELECTIONS

A. Forwarding of remains to another funeral home

$2,500 00

Our charge includes: basic services of funeral director and staff; removal of remains, preparations of remains (including embalming) and local transportation. This charge does not include shipping casket or required shipping enclosure, viewing, air transportation, or funeral service.

B. Receiving of remains from another funeral home

$2,300 00

Our charge includes; basic services of funeral director and staff; a proportionate share of overhead costs; care of remains; transportation of remains to funeral home and to the cemetery or crematory. It does not include viewing or funeral service.

C. Direct Cremation

$2,775 00

Our charge for a direct cremation (without ceremony) includes: basic services of funeral director and staff; a proportionate share of overhead costs; removal of remains; essential care of the deceased when not embalmed; transportation to crematory. (Upon your request a loved one will be bathed and dressed; a private family only 30 minute viewing may be done, at a time of the funeral home’s convenience.)

If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are a wood & fiberboard container $120.00; a fiberboard with interior $250.00; or an unfinished wood box $795.00.

D. Immediate Burial

$2,775 00

Our charge for an immediate burial (without ceremony) includes: basic services of funeral director and staff; a proportionate share of overhead costs; removal of remains; essential care of the deceased when not embalmed; and local transportation to cemetery. (Upon your request a loved one will be bathed and dressed; a private family only 30 minute viewing may be done, at a time of the funeral home’s convenience.) Our most basic casket option is an unfinished wood casket and costs $1,095.00. Most cemeteries require you to purchase an outer burial enclosure (sometimes called a vault). The enclosures we sell are made of concrete and start at $1,495.00.

PAYMENT POLICY

We understand that losing someone you love is an emotional and life-changing experience.

Consideration of any financial ramifications is very difficult. We hope to help you plan a tribute in a way that is both meaningful to you and your family and also honors the life of your loved one.

Payment prior to cremation or burial:

We request payment in full the day prior to planned services. If for any reason a balance remains due you will be billed at your home within 14 days. The balance will be due in 30 days. If you are unable to pay the balance in that time, late payment and interest charges will be applied.

Some of the payment methods we accept include:

1. Cash, Check, Money Order, or Cashier’s Check

2. Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) – payment by credit card for cash advances will have an additional 3% fee added.

3. Insurance Policy with the beneficiary’s consent. The policy can be used as payment for the funeral expenses. Insurance assignment is acceptable if the following criteria are met:

• The policy is verified by us and all documentation is signed preceding the funeral.

• The policy is assignable and payable directly to the funeral home.

• The policy must be non-contestable (if in the contestable period, the policy will not be accepted as a form of payment).

• Pre-Arranged and Pre-Paid Funerals

4. In some cases, the deceased’s estate must pay for funeral expenses. In these instances we request that a family member take the financial responsibility for funeral expenses and then file for reimbursement with the estate.

It is our policy to provide funeral services to all those within our community, and we do not wish for anyone to be limited by finances; if financial hardship is an issue, we ask that you contact us to speak more about the options that we can provide.
