It’s hard to believe it has been more than 30 years since our city, state and nation were impacted by what is still the largest act of domestic terrorism on American soil.

168 people went to work, children went to daycare or people were simply using a government service and they never came home.

Family Members, Survivors, First Responders and the community joined together to remember and to educate.

Out of darkness came light.

These pages reflect the past three decades and the work during the 30th Anniversary Year, and our empowering educational mission that “In no way diminishes the tragedy, but rather offers an inspiring contrast between the brutality of the evil and the tenderness of the response.”

As we approached the 30th Anniversary year, the Memorial Board of Trustees, the Conscience Committee and staff worked together to ensure this important story would never be forgotten and that our reach was broad.

The vision and work of the Memorial and Museum is large. Since dedicating the Memorial in April 2000 and the Museum in February 2001, visitors have explored the personal stories of the 168 killed alongside those of Survivors and First Responders — and others changed forever.

Our strategic vision has three main goals. First is to Honor and Preserve this story. This sacred site honors those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever including the first responders, investigators, law enforcement, legal teams and the community that came together in the days following April 19, 1995. It is our honor to preserve the history, the memories and the stories so that future generations will know the impact of violence and how a community — changed forever — found comfort, strength, peace, hope and serenity, one day at a time.

Our second goal is to Engage and Educate. Whether a student, teacher or family coming to the Museum, we expect each visitor to have a meaningful learning experience where all who engage feel like an invited guest and experience the Oklahoma Standard.

And last, our goal is to Connect and Convene. We do this through face-to-face programming that will nurture a culture of understanding through accurate first-person storytelling, or a curated experience where we can share objects of memory that help tell the stories and convene Better Conversations as often as possible.

Our Mission is serious and unchanging. We work to meet our Mission daily by remembering and educating and we do not believe you can do one without the other. We have curatorial precision, programs with enduring impact, maintaining and preserving this sacred ground to the highest standard and work to build civic virtues in a community that will last longer than any of us.

30 years ago we saw what happens when a community is tested. The perpetrators did not divide us, instead we stood united. No issue, no problem, nothing should ever divide us. We have learned we can always work through any issue with a Better Conversation and the history of this site, and the people impacted deserve that. We know words matter; humility, hospitality, generous listening, patience and adventurous civility are our keys to moving our community forward without forgetting from where we have come.

From summer 1995 until spring 1996, a 350-member Task Force listened and gathered ideas to understand what visitors to the Memorial should feel and experience. The subcommittee responsible for the Mission Statement met for weeks to develop this cornerstone document, which shaped the meaning and helped guide the design and development of the Memorial.

It was approved unanimously at a meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Memorial Task Force on March 26, 1996. Founding Chairman Bob Johnson presents a bound copy of the Mission Statement to Survivor Polly Nichols.

As part of the International Design Competition, 624 designs from all 50 states and 23 countries were submitted for a permanent Memorial. These designs were on display in the Oklahoma Hardware Building in Bricktown, where thousands passed through to get their first glimpse of hope inside.

On the First Anniversary, Family Members, Survivors and First Responders gathered at the sacred site, then walked to the Myriad Convention Center to meet with Vice President Al Gore. The Myriad Convention Center had been a safe haven for the hundreds of rescue workers and first responders in the days after the bombing.

Founding Chairman, Bob Johnson, announced the winner of the International Design Competition in July. Each of the five finalists was asked to submit a model of their design. Architects Hans and Torrey Butzer, with associate Sven Berg, were living in Germany when they submitted the winning design.

The groundbreaking for the Memorial took place on the site of the bombing. In a ceremony marked by both tears and relief, thousands gathered to share shovels to turn the dirt.

Clint Seidl, whose mother, Kathy, was killed in the bombing, joins Vice President Al Gore for the Memorial groundbreaking.

The next evening, Family Members, Survivors and First Responders relocated the iconic fence surrounding the site to the eastern edge of the Memorial, which would become known as the healing side of the Memorial. The moving of the fence symbolically opened the grounds and allowed construction to begin.

Construction continued on the Memorial grounds.

Family Members, Survivors and Rescue Workers were invited to private showings of the design and construction progress.

The Memorial Museum opened on February 19, 2001, just 10 months after the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial was dedicated. Key stakeholders toured the Museum before it opened to the public. People lined up to visit the Museum.

President George and First Lady Laura Bush made their first official trip from Washington, D.C. to help open the Museum. They are pictured with Survivor Richard Williams, Family Member Jeannine Gist and Oklahoma City Police Major Ed Hill, who had joined Museum officials in weekly meetings to create the Museum.

On the Fifth Anniversary of the bombing, the Family Members and Survivors gather to dedicate the Memorial in a private ceremony where they would each be escorted to the Field of Empty Chairs by a First Responder. It was very moving for all to experience the place of memory for the first time.

Later that afternoon President Bill Clinton came back to Oklahoma City to help dedicate the Oklahoma City National Memorial, calling it “sacred ground.” More than 20,000 people made their way downtown to witness this milestone.

2001

Rowland Denman, incoming Chairman, Karen Luke, Foundation Chair and Bob Johnson, Chair of the Memorial Trust, visit with President George Bush during the Memorial Dedication. They had put in countless hours to make the Memorial a reality.

The Olympic flame passes through Oklahoma City on its 13,500-mile journey to the Winter Games in Salt Lake City, Utah. Joe Bowers, the son of Carol Bowers, killed in the bombing, and survivor Tom Hall carried the torch on the grounds.

One of the few remaining copies of the Declaration of Independence makes its way to the Memorial Museum, drawing thousands of visitors, as a reminder of the foundation of America’s democracy.

2002

A special exhibit, A Shared Experience, opens, highlighting the six Oklahomans killed and the nine New York Task Force members (TF1) who had responded to Oklahoma City in 1995, who were killed on September 11th, 2001.

2003

Officials from the proposed New York 9/11 Memorial came to Oklahoma City seeking guidance. In fact, all three 9/11 sites (New York, Shanksville and the Pentagon) came to Oklahoma City for help from Memorial organizers. In cooperation with the American Red Cross, many stakeholders rode the ferries with families to ground zero in New York City. Others helped with Memorial creation insight.

To commemorate the 10th Anniversary, the National Week of Hope featured a national media symposium and a different event each day of the week.

Almost two dozen pieces of art recovered after the bombing were showcased at the Museum in a special exhibit, Portraits of Survival—the Original Art of the Murrah Building.

Upon moving the Oklahoma City Thunder to Oklahoma City, General Manager Sam Presti created a tradition of ensuring that every new player or staff member would visit the Memorial and Museum and learn the history of their new home. That tradition is still intact today.

Tom Ridge, the first Secretary of Homeland Security, visits the Memorial and Museum to open the Behind the Scene: The OKBOMB Investigation exhibit, which offered a rare glimpse into the FBI’s investigation of the largest domestic terrorism case in history.

Two mayors who helped rebuild two great American cities torn apart by terrorism were the focus of a major Museum symposium following the Remembrance Ceremony. Chairman Burns Hargis moderates former Oklahoma City Mayor Ron Norick and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani as they shared their stories of leadership and moving their cities forward while never forgetting.

Governor Brad Henry signs a new law requiring all Oklahoma school students to be taught the story of the Oklahoma City bombing in history classes.

The Governor is joined by Memorial Chairman John Richels, State Superintendent of Schools Sandy Garrett, Chancellor (and former State House Speaker) Glen Johnson, Representative Susan Winchester, whose sister, Dr. Peggy Clark, was killed in the bombing, Representative Lee Denny and Representative Ron Justice.

An Investigators Round Table of city, state and federal law enforcement who worked the Oklahoma City bombing were brought together. This was one of several groups that gave their stories and experiences during the Museum remodel.

The Memorial doubles the size of the Archives space in the Museum— making way for many new artifacts and collections. The Archives is one of the largest collections of a single incident in the United States, with more than 1.8 million artifacts related to the Oklahoma City bombing.

The Museum welcomes its two millionth visitor.

The Memorial and Museum develop a Museum Master Plan, after meeting with key stakeholders, to teach this story to a new generation who were not born at the time of the bombing or may have lived elsewhere.

A new program was patterned after the Oklahoma Standard, the name given by the national media for the generosity and caring spirit shown by everyday citizens in the state after the 1995 bombing. The program teaches simple acts of Service, Honor and Kindness to a new generation.

A major grand reopening took place following completion of an 18-month, $10 million enhancement, including 35 new interactives, videos, artifacts and pieces of evidence never seen before in public.

A new multi-purpose Inasmuch Uncover-Discover STEM Lab opened in the Museum to enhance the learning experience of young visitors.

The Called2Change augmented reality program is taken to the schools to give students background information about the bombing prior to their field trips to the Memorial and Museum.

Representatives from Oslo involved in planning memorials for the July 22, 2011, terrorist attack in Norway visited to learn how the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum went from a place of tragedy to a place of hope and education. This visit was part of a global effort to learn best practices for building their own national memorial sites.

A clone of the Survivor Tree is planted in the new 77-acre downtown Scissortail Park. It could one day be the replacement for the Memorial’s 110 year-old Survivor Tree.

The Memorial and Museum prepares to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the bombing with a visit to New York City to focus on their shared experience, joined by the rescue teams and their families who came to help Oklahoma City in 1995.

This partnership with the 9/11 Memorial Museum, Oklahoma City Thunder and the New York Knicks happened just days before an international pandemic shut the world down, including the Memorial and Museum, along with most major attractions around the world.

On Day One of 168 days leading up to the April 19th Anniversary, a Better Conversation about the impact of nonviolent versus violent acts is held. In 1958, educator Clara Luper led a group of school-age children in a series of nonviolent protests at Katz Drug Store in downtown Oklahoma City. These children, now adults, participated in the Better Conversation.

United States Attorney General Merrick Garland returned to keynote the Annual Remembrance Ceremony at the Memorial and Museum years after playing a key role in the U.S. Justice Department’s handling of the 1995 OKBOMB case.

In September, the Memorial and Museum launched the Journey of Hope, an initiative to visit middle schools and high schools in all 77 counties during the 30th Anniversary to tell the story of April 19, 1995. The first stop was Deer Creek Middle School, where former Deer Creek 7th grade teacher, Cheryl Baldwin Taylor, shared her story. She was a volunteer at the Myriad Convention Center after the bombing and had her students write poetry books for first responders where they stayed and placed them on their cots, bringing healing.

A sold-out crowd was introduced to the 30th Anniversary’s theme, A Day of Darkness.

Years of Light. Speakers included Family Members, Survivors, First Responders and Community Leaders sharing stories of resilience and hope.

The Day One luncheon, November 1, marks the 168 Days of Remembrance leading up to April 19. For the 30th Anniversary, the luncheon was held at what had been the site of the Myriad Convention Center. In the aftermath of the bombing, the Myriad housed hundreds of first responders from around the U.S. as they assisted with recovery efforts. The search and rescue teams were fed by the Oklahoma Restaurant Association, who pivoted from their annual trade show to a 24/7 food service and sleeping operation. The Oklahoma Standard was born there. This was the last public event in this space before being demolished for a new arena.

Stories of Light 30 Stories of Light were introduced and shared across social media channels, media partners and MemorialMuseum.com. These were personal first-hand accounts of resilience that ran weekly for 30 weeks as part of the 30th Anniversary. Each story showed how the people of Oklahoma City and across the state turned darkness to light and how the Oklahoma Standard continues to define our people and our community. These stories are still available on MemorialMuseum.com/30Stories.

David Yost, a local developer, opened his tree farm for the Memorial officials and designers to select the loblolly pines to surround the footprint of the Murrah Building. He was so pleased to see how the trees had grown since they left his McCloud, OK tree farm, he hugged a tree.

Holiday Wreaths The Conscience Committee joined the Teen Board to place holiday wreaths on the 168 Chairs in the Field of Empty Chairs.

Loblolly Pines A local man’s dream of planting seedlings in the mid-1980s in McCloud turned into the amazing trees for this sacred site.

Downtown Businesses Three business owners who were impacted by the bombing and one who embodies the “new” downtown share how April 19 changed and shaped OKC.

Rebuilding Downtown From funds helping to rebuild and improve iconic structures to the creation of the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, this story is a testament to collaboration and vision.

30th Anniversary First Responder Badges First Responders were given the opportunity to wear special badges to commemorate the 30th Anniversary. Challenge coins were sold to the public with half of all proceeds benefiting the Museum.

Creating the Memorial’s Education Programs A teacher who lost her brother in the bombing and her Principal decided to turn this tragedy into a lifetime of lessons.

Stained Glass Angels The women of The First United Methodist Church of OKC make stained glass angels out of the stained-glass windows that were shattered in the bombing.

Marathon Kickoff Training Run Cold weather didn’t prevent runners from joining the training run for the 25th Anniversary of the Run To Remember.

Fire Engine One and We Will Never Forget From the first fire engine to arrive to the police car with “We Will Never Forget” on its rear window, police and fire department chiefs explain the collaboration required to carry out their monumental response.

Barry Switzer Super Bowl Champions Visit Coach Barry Switzer brought his Super Bowlwinning Dallas Cowboys and owner Jerry Jones to the bomb site in April 1995 to learn about the impact of violence and First Responders’ teamwork.

Forensic Sciences OSU’s CENTEX program is one of the top forensic and explosives training programs in the nation.

Many of the faculty and staff were first responders to the Oklahoma City bombing.

A Scrapbook Full of Memories In October 2023 an antique collector in Arizona discovered a photo album related to the bombing.

The Memorial Archives connected him with the album’s rightful owner, a woman whose mother was killed that day.

Spanish Cove Retirement Village Spanish Cove residents are proud to have had the highest number of participants in the Oklahoma City Senior Marathon in 2024 and want to reclaim their title for the 25th Anniversary.

Interns Learning the Story Archives Fellows from the University of Central Oklahoma help process a backlog of items left on the Field of Empty Chairs dating back to 2010. This program prepares the next 22 generation of curators and historians.

Community Leadership Members of the original Memorial Task Force explain their vision and how they helped turn a Day of Darkness into Years of Light.

6th Street In partnership with the City of OKC and Downtown OKC, the Memorial created a unique installation and illumination of the Sixth Street Downtown Gateway.

It stands as a symbol of hope, resilience and the emergence of light from darkness.

100 Marathons Becky Cunningham ran her first marathon in 2001, the first year of the Marathon. She ran in honor of a co-worker who was killed in the bombing as well as being a recent cancer survivor, herself. Since then, she has run 100 marathons.

Heartland Chapel Originally built in 1995 as a gift to the First United Methodist Church after their building was damaged in the bombing, this symbol of unity from the Jewish Federation, Islamic Society and the OKC Memorial & Museum was renovated for the 30th Anniversary.

Volunteered-Them-All For nearly 25 years, this group has volunteered at every race. They have been the quiet force behind the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon. Over 3,000 volunteers are needed each year to make the #RUNto Remember the amazing event it is.

Memorial Chairmen The Chairs of the Board of Trustees have included community leaders, Family Members and Survivors. They have led with vision, compassion and commitment to the Memorial’s Mission.

We are grateful for their service.

Prayer Service at the State Fair Arena As the State Fair Arena was set to be torn down to make way for a new arena, former First Lady Cathy Keating reflected on a nondenominational prayer service just four days after the bombing in 1995. President Bill and First Lady Hillary Clinton attended with many members of his cabinet. The Oklahoma City Philharmonic provided music while Reverend Billy Graham shared words of comfort.

Conscience Committee Composed of Family Members, Survivors and First Responders, the Conscience Committee is the heartbeat behind the mission, the conscience behind every step forward.

Today, a section of that original fence still stands, woven with memories and messages, reminding us of A Day of Darkness and Years of Light.

OU Remembrance Week OU honored the 30th Anniversary with a weeklong teach-in with students, many of whom were not yet born in 1995. The commemoration emphasized the importance of learning from tragedy and the extraordinary response.

Designing the Chairs Each of the 168 Empty Chairs symbolizes someone killed on April 19. From the choice of translucent glass bases with glowing lights to the placement of each chair, each element was chosen with reverence and meaning.

Myriad Day One The now demolished Myriad Convention Center played a pivotal role. The Oklahoma Restaurant Association was holding its trade show when the bomb exploded and quickly repurposed their event to feed and take care of first responders.

It was here that the Oklahoma Standard— Service, Honor and Kindness—was born.

First Responders were given special 30th Anniversary badges. These badges were worn on the job during the month of April

by Oklahoma City Fire, Police, EMSA and Sheriff’s Departments to remember, honor and commemorate April 19, 1995. Special challenge coins were sold to the public, honoring those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever.

FEB 2025 As part of the AAM Reaccreditation process, stakeholder and community engagement, feedback and collaboration is key. The AAM Visiting Committee was very impressed by the number of community stakeholders who shared their partnership stories regarding the Memorial Museum and Marathon.

On February 22, nearly 250 employees who were on the Oklahoma City staff during the 1995 bombing and remain on the staff were honored in the City Workers Salute, a special ceremony for their 30 years of dedicated service and resilience. Oklahoma City Fire Chief and Incident Commander in 1995 Gary Marrs joined current Fire Chief Richard Kelley.

MAR 2025 Spring Break brought students, families and teachers for guided tours, interactive activities and a week of special programming.

Ground Zero Dogs—Students saw a rescue dog in action and learned about the role of rescue dogs in the Oklahoma City bombing and the important work of Ground Zero today.

VIP EYEwitness Tour—Richard Kelley was a 24-year-old firefighter/paramedic on April 1995 and responded while off-duty. He worked 11 days of rescue and recovery, including on the final team. He is now OKC Fire Chief.

Many cities have turned to Oklahoma City for guidance in their own process of documenting tragedy.

Museum Directors from memorials and museums in New York, Oslo, Paris and Spain came together for a Better Conversations. Cities Impacted by Terrorism Bonded by Memorialization: Global Perspectives on Remembrance.

An event was held to honor physicians and dentists for their contributions on April 19, 1995. It was believed to be the first time this group had gathered and was formally recognized for their service that day. In addition to recollections, the event highlighted how the medical response helped shape the future of trauma care in Oklahoma.

These three doctors joined hundreds of medical professionals in performing heroic acts on April 19, 1995. Joining the 30th Anniversary Special Tribute to Doctors and Dentists are Drs. Andy Sullivan, Susan Chambers (Board Chair), Camisa Stewart and Larry Bookman.

More than 100 doctors and dentists stood and were recognized for their service on April 19, 1995. Bryan Chrz, DDS, responded to the bombing as a forensic dentist. He tells of the lessons he was taught by Dr. Charles Hurlburt, a professor and director of dental radiology at OU Health Sciences who was killed in the bombing along with his wife, Jean. Ironically, Dr. Chrz and other dentists used their dental forensic lessons taught by 29 Dr. Hurlburt to identify him and others after the bombing.

The interactive exhibit, Are We Safer Today? was introduced, using AI safety experts answering questions about security, liberty and how our daily lives have changed since the 1995 bombing. The exhibit was delivered in collaboration with federal agencies, including officials from Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), some of whom had even worked the bombing in 1995.

More than 200 next-generation leaders heard the story and lessons of the 1995 terrorist attack from Kyle Genzer, whose mother was killed in the bombing, Graham Bennett, Memorial Trustee and Sam Presti, General Manager of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Memorial and Museum, in partnership with Downtown OKC and the City of Oklahoma City, unveiled “Be the Light,” an illumination of the 6th Street downtown gateway. This new public art installation serves as a tribute to the 30th Anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing. It features bold “OKC” lettering as you exit I-235 and a “Be the Light” message as you go under the BNSF railroad bridge, representing a transition from darkness of the tragedy to the light our city enjoys today.

The Heartland Chapel was built in the summer of 1995 and then refinished by First Church, the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, the Jewish Federation of Greater Oklahoma City and the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma. People of these faiths joined together again in unity to refurbish the interfaith chapel that sits across from the 9:01 Gate at 5th and Robinson on the corner of the First Church campus.

Ahead of the 30th Anniversary, Museum representatives traveled to the Clinton Presidential Center on April 11 for the From Darkness to Light 30th Anniversary Commemoration of the Oklahoma City bombing. During the 90-minute program, Oklahoma leaders and former Clinton Administration officials shared personal accounts from the bombing and how the rhetoric that led to that deadly act of terrorism still exists today.

Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt hosted more than 40 mayors from across the United States for the signing of the Declaration Against Political Violence under the Survivor Tree at a time when political violence seems to always be in the headlines.

Communities turn to OKC for help with their Memorialization process. President & CEO Kari Watkins joins other Museum directors and victims in Paris, speaking at “Traces and Testimonies: What Historical Accounts of Terrorism?” The roundtable focused on how to teach the impact of the terrorist violence and resilience in a museum exhibition.

OCT 2025 Margot Habiby, Deputy Director at the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas, joined us for Better Conversations. She talked about the crucial distinction between patriotism and nationalism and how the events of April 19, 1995 revealed that contrast.

She explored how a genuine sense of patriotism can be a force for unity and healing, honoring the legacy of those impacted by terrorism and violence.

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum has a cooperative agreement with the National Park Service. Though the Memorial and Museum receive no federal funds and are owned and operated by a private non-profit foundation, the NPS rangers are provided to the Memorial through this agreement to interpret the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial. But during the 43-day federal government shutdown, Trustees and staff stepped up to keep the story told. Family Members, Survivors, First Responders, Trustees, volunteers and staff came together to ensure our visitors got the full experience.

Oklahoma City Fire Chief (Ret.) and Incident Commander Gary Marrs sat down with journalist Connie Chung. Chung first came to Oklahoma City in 1995 to cover the story. What would have normally been a standard question was not received well at an emotional time in Oklahoma City. She was sent home, later terminated and it changed her life forever. Chief Marrs had long said we needed to forgive and move forward. As part of the 30th Anniversary year, Kari Watkins moderated a Better Conversation where forgiveness was on full display and as Chung said, “You have brought healing to my soul and I thank you immensely.”

Dr. Susan Chambers moderates another emotional Better Conversations with Bud Welch, whose daughter Julie was killed in the bombing, and Jeanne Bishop, author of Grace from the Rubble, about two fathers’ road to reconciliation. The Hard Hat Salute honored the contractors, construction workers, craftsmen and tradespeople who provided crucial recovery, rescue and rebuilding efforts after April 19. The event recognized the countless hours they worked after the bombing to restore structures that still stand today and thanked them for the work they continue to do.

DEC 2025 The Clinton Presidential Center returned for the final Better Conversations event to discuss the health of the Civic Index, exploring what civic well-being looks like in Oklahoma.

Nearly 100 soldiers from Ft. Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma, are hosted by the Memorial Museum and Blue Star Mothers for a tour of the Memorial and Museum. They ended their annual visit by singing carols around the Reflecting Pool.

The Memorial Teen Board placed wreaths on the 168 Empty Chairs. This has become an honored tradition where they are joined by members of the Conscience Committee, Memorial staff and this year with Memorial designers Hans and Torrey Butzer.

Wrapping up the year, the story of A Day of Darkness and Years of Light reached more than 33,500 students. The Journey of Hope, funded by the Oklahoma State Legislature and the Department of Agriculture, is continuing its mission, building on that foundation and bringing our flagship education program, Better Conversations, and the Oklahoma Standard to every county in 2026.

IN THE MEDIA The media helps us keep the message relevant through our annual statewide 168 Day campaign plus consistent coverage of new exhibits and events, Foreword and the Run to Remember.

Each day from the Day One Luncheon until April 19, media remembers someone killed, honors those who survived and thanks those changed forever. The 30th Anniversary campaign ran statewide on TV, online, in newspapers and on outdoor boards.

This campaign generated 267 million exposures over the course of those 168 days.

We Continue to Move “FOREWORD” The 30th Anniversary year was marked with the groundbreaking of “FOREWORD” — the visitor will be introduced to the content provided, much like the foreword in a book. Foreword will build on the Museum’s chapters of April 19, 1995, and the days and years that have followed. It will give the visitors insight into what they are about to experience and gives even more credibility to the story with a new experience overlooking the site.

The new 10,400 square feet will include a new lobby featuring enhanced security and salvaged granite and artwork from the Murrah Building. It will also allow a new, expanded Orientation Gallery that will introduce this story now being taught to a generation that did not live through it. The first floor will include a Civics Lab that will offer a hands-on space for students to learn how people and government can successfully work together, all located near the STEM Lab and classroom.

The Museum will remain open during the construction. A temporary Visitor Experience Center can be found at the southwest corner of the Museum and visitors enter a temporary lobby, experience the Museum intact and leave through the Memorial Archives, where every detail and record carries the weight of our history.
