Whatever funeral you wish to plan, we’ll make it happen.

Today, people are choosing many different styles of send-offs such as:

A simple, unattended farewell

A shorter smaller service, maybe family led, lasting 30 minutes

A larger gathering, with a full traditional service of 60 or 90 minutes

Our longer service time of 90 minutes provides a calm, unhurried atmosphere

Choosing an attended service is an opportunity to create a truly personal and meaningful farewell – through music, flowers, readings, eulogies, photos, videos, personal possessions, and pets.

There are many qualities unique to every person and we can help you celebrate these within a fitting ceremony.

The last thing you need on such a personal and private day is to feel rushed. Here at Faversham that will never be the case.

Our 90 minute ‘Celebration of Life’ includes a full hour for the service, plus time for guests to arrive, connect and share condolences, whilst our normal service of 60 minutes still provides plenty of time to arrive and depart.

Every mourner is welcome, and whether the service is a cremation, memorial, or something simply personal, the setting can be adapted to meet your wishes. The ceremony hall seats up to 100 guests, so is both spacious and calming.

Our unhurried approach ensures the space feels like your own, without having to rush. Just plenty of time for everyone to focus on what truly matters.

Support with sensitivity at

a difficult time

We do everything possible to create a welcoming, peaceful atmosphere, treating you with care, respect and empathy.

Our building is fully accessible with features including level access, hearing loops and wheelchairfriendly platforms.

All are welcome, including young children, those of faith and those without.

And well-behaved pets can be catered for too.

Our service times are flexible, including evenings and weekends. This helps families find a time that feels right, and unhurried.

Live-streaming recordings, music and photo tributes are included to ensure loved ones can take part wherever they are.

Our relationships with local Funeral professionals are excellent. We will work alongside your chosen funeral director or celebrant. working closely with them to provide a seamless service for you and your family.

Raising standards in environmental responsibility

By making thoughtful choices, we’re committed to looking after our environment for all to enjoy, over years to come. To reduce our environmental impact, we have:

Installed a low-emission electric cremator, with an abatement system to reduce our environmental impact

Make use of a heat exchanger to warm our building

Use solar energy to reduce our use of vital resources

We care about the future of our planet, so are mindful of our green responsibilities.

With the growing move away from diesel and petrol cars we have a number of electric vehicle charging points.

In our grounds of around four acres there are bird boxes, naturalised, wildflower areas and pasture to attract bees and provide insect habitats. We use biodegradable containers for ashes, and are moving towards more sustainable memorials, such as trees and plants and sustainably-sourced wood.

We treat the handling of ashes with care and dignity.

A range of memorial options for a lasting memory

Ashes are held in an elegant biodegradable container suitable for burial, scattering or keeping in a special place.

You might like to mark the life and love of someone close in a special way, so we’ll be able to show and guide you through a selection of memorials.

This might be living trees and plants or sculptures, to place in our Garden of Remembrance or your home. Ashes can of course be turned into memorial keepsakes.

Our team will happily guide you through what’s personal and possible to choose a lasting tribute that feels right for you.

Part of our local community

We’re proud to have a presence in our community, and use local suppliers wherever possible

Every year we support a charity in the local area. And we donate to local initiatives, such as bereavement cafes.
