Low Cost Cremation Services Low Cost Funeral Limited has developed a selection of direct low cost cremation options to satisfy public demand for the same throughout England & Wales. We offer 3 QUALITY low cost cremation options – all at AFFORDABLE prices and all delivered to the highest standard by Directors with expertise that has been gained by over 87 years of funeral service experience. WHAT SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AND HOW MUCH DO THEY COST? Increasingly, some families wish to avoid many of the costs associated with a traditional funeral. This may be driven by: • A financial need. • A desire not to have a funeral service but a memorial service instead. • A lack of religious commitment. • A desire to spend the associated costs elsewhere. • A private preference – such as made by the late David Bowie. In order to provide a service that meets such demands we have developed 3 low cost funeral options. These can reduce the cost of a funeral by up to 50 – 80% dependent on the Option selected. In the event that you feel that a traditional funeral service might involve you in the provision of a number of services that are not applicable to your requirements and so involve you in unnecessary costs as a result, we are able to offer you these low cost cremation services listed on the following page. www.low-cost-funeral.co.uk 03
Options Standard cremation OPTION 1 coffin used for all options A cremation without a service time or attendance, which includes the collection* of the deceased in a suitable vehicle from the place of death, the provision of a standard coffin with four handles, all 3rd party costs and the cremated remains supplied in suitable packaging to be collected from the facility.

OPTION 2 A cremation on a specified day (to be confirmed by your family) with attendance at a 9:00 am or 10:00 am service which includes the collection* of the deceased in a suitable vehicle from the place of death, the provision of a standard coffin with four handles to be placed on the catafalque in advance of the service, all 3rd party costs and the cremated remains supplied in suitable packaging to be collected from the facility. The service time slot is 1 hour** and can be reserved on a day of your choice. Attendance is unlimited and additional services can be provided upon request at an extra cost if desired.

The prices quoted above are the totals needed to satisfy the selected option. Normally there would be nothing extra to pay. *The only circumstances where additional cost would be incurred is if removal is needed from either a private residence or a nursing home or the
deceased requires a coffin larger than 6’ 3” x 24” (1.91m x 61cm). In both cases an additional £240.00 would be charged. We only engage quality local funeral directors to work with us. **In the case of a Memoria Ltd crematorium only.
Please note that additional services, such as the provision of a religious minister or celebrant to conduct the service, music to be played at the service or the delivery of cremated remains to specified addresses are not included but can be arranged at an additional cost to the above low cost cremation Options 2 and 3 or all 3 options in the case of cremated remains delivery. Further services, such as the provision of a hearse, limousines, a chapel of rest, a selected type of coffin, embalming and pall bearers etc. are not provided. The need to provide one or more of these services constitutes a traditional funeral service and therefore this scheme is not applicable and a funeral director of your choice should be contacted directly in order that he/she can supply the same.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO? In order to arrange a low cost cremation please do the following: • Select the option of your choice from the 3 options listed on the page opposite. • Complete the Arrangement Form on page 06. • Complete the Cremation Application Form 1 on page 08. • Contact us to arrange payment for the chosen option by debit or credit card. • Post, or scan and email us the arrangement form, the application form and the ‘green’ certificate. • If sent by email, the originals should also be posted to us. • Confirmation of the arrangements made will be sent to you by email (or by post if applicable). • Our staff will be happy to be contacted for advice and help in completing any of the above or to discuss the choices available. These arrangements can also be made prior to death, at an additional administration cost, and if paid for now will not be subjected in the future to any increases. Alternatively, if you wish to indicate a chosen direct cremation option now, but pay for the same at the time of need this can be also catered for – see ‘Desired Choice’ in our pre-arrangement brochure or on our website. The Directors of Low Cost Funeral Limited have 87 years experience in the provision of funeral and cremation services. The options are designed to supply a growing demand for low cost direct cremation. However, it should be noted that the Directors’ dedication to supplying a sympathetic, polite, dignified and efficient service is in no way diminished by the savings made. Such savings made are achieved by eliminating a large percentage of the costs associated with a traditional funeral and this is how up to 80% of the costs are reduced.

Part 5 Inspection of certificates You are entitled to inspect the certificates (if any) given by doctors under reg. 16(1)[c][i] of the Cremation Regulations 2008 (forms Cremation 4 and Cremation 5). If you do not wish to inspect any such certificates yourself you may nominate another person to inspect them instead of you. Such certificates will only be available for inspection at the offices of the cremation authority for 48 hours from the time that the cremation authority notifies you, or the person you have nominated, that the certificates are available to be inspected.
