SIMPLE OPTION

A cremation without a service time or attendance, which includes the collection* of the deceased in a suitable vehicle from the place of death and the provision of a standard coffin with four handles.

All 3rd party costs are included and the cremated remains supplied in a bio-degradable box and carrier bag to be collected from the facility or returned to you by us for an additional charge***.

DISTINGUISHED OPTION

A cremation at a specified time with attendance and a one hour slot, the provision of a Celebrant Minister to conduct the service and the use of our state of the art visual tribute screens for a photograph tribute (arranged by us) to be displayed during the service, the option to have the service streamed live over the internet to anywhere in the world so those who cannot attend in person can watch the service if they so wish.

Collection of the deceased from the place of death, the provision of a suitable coffin with four handles and an engraved plate, coffin to be placed on the catafalque in advance of the service, all disbursement costs and the cremated remains supplied in a bio-degradable box and carrier bag to be collected from the facility or returned to you by us for an additional charge***.

* The only circumstances where the additional cost would be incurred is if removal is needed from either a private residence or a nursing home or the deceased requires a coffin larger than 6’ 3” x 24” (1.91m x 61cm). In both cases, an additional £240.00 would be charged. We only engage quality local funeral directors to work with us. ** The “Simple” and “Distinguished” options relate to cremations taking place in a Memoria facility. The “Flexible Option” caters for families wishing to use a non-Memoria crematorium closer to their home. While we offer the same service guarantee and a 1-hour slot (to include arrival and departure) for our services as we do with the first two options, this cannot be extended to the selected crematorium in the case of the “Flexible Option”. *** If you would like the cremated remains returned to you there are two options – they can be returned by us within 28 days of the cremation for £75.00 or you can specify a day and time for their return for £150.00. We do not use couriers for returning cremated remains, this is because all major courier firms have now added cremated remains to their list of prohibited items. This means that if the cremated remains are lost not only will they not be liable for compensation but they could take action against the sender for attempting to send a prohibited item.
