OUR PROCESS

We are a family run studio that in partnership with Memoria create stunning and unique pieces of Cremation Jewellery and Glass Art Memorials that are modern, timeless and comforting. We have been doing this for over 20 years.

Having developed our process since 1997, we ensure that from the minute you choose your tribute, you can feel safe in the knowledge that your piece is being created in house by our experts who respect and understand the impact of a lost loved one within a relationship, family and community.

We are 100% committed to making by hand and in our own building. It’s the only way to do it. Having control over our environment, from the tools we use each and every day, to the materials we make with, allows us to produce the perfect result, each and every time.

Our founder Siobhan, regarded as a true master of Fused Glass and jewellery design, and our fantastic team of jewellers and glass specialists are truly passionate about what we do and we invite you to visit our inspirational studio to meet us in person and see our work.

Using one teaspoon of ash we create your stunning tribute using specialist art glass that is expertly hand cut and arranged to the exact colour and design you have chosen.

It is during this stage of the process that we take your loved one’s cremation ashes and carefully place these through the glass. The glass then goes into our kilns to be fused. It is this fusing process that encapsulates your loved one’s ashes forever in the glass. Once in the glass the ashes are clearly visible and add a depth and beauty which reflects the essence of your loved one.

Once your unique tribute is made, the quality is checked and certified. We then beautifully package your piece which completes our process.

The Millennium Glass Art Memorial is a stunning contemporary memorial that reflects the fluidity of life.

Each Memorial is handmade and therefore completely unique as no two memorials will ever be identical. The Seascape Glass Art Memorial includes flowing tactile textures, hues of aqua marine, turquoise and blues as well as clear iridescent glass for something truly special.

Each piece is made by hand and therefore completely unique. The Millennium Glass Art Memorial includes subtle copper detailing as well as silver, gold and clear iridescent glass for that extra special touch. This is a stunning and timeless piece.

Your cremation ashes will be clearly seen scattered throughout the memorial. This is a beautiful, reflective and unique piece.

Our Cremation Jewellery is expertly hand made to our exceptional standards by our master craftsmen who make each piece to your size and design in the precious metal of your choice.

We have over 30 unique and exquisite designs to choose from across 2 fabulous and very different collections.

All of our jewellery is officially hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office. We then certify each and every piece that we make, this is our guarantee that the ashes that have been provided are the ashes used to make your piece. All jewellery includes optional engraving, allowing you to make your chosen piece even more personal.

Rings are engraved on the inside, pendants, charms and cufflinks are engraved on the back, charm beads are engraved on the bead cap.

Suitable for either ashes or hair, the Secrets Collection is exceptional quality and a very discreet and personal way to have your lost loved one always with you. Each design in this range has a hidden chamber. The ashes or hair are placed into the chamber which is then permanently closed using our specialist process that took years of development to perfect. The location of the chamber is engraved with a chamber marker of your choosing (except sparkle pendants and torque bangle).

Can I come and see you? Yes, you can visit your local Memoria Crematorium where we have a range of samples, or we can make an appointment for you to visit Ashes With Art where a full range of samples is available as well as providing an opportunity to meet the makers. For those that cannot visit, please watch the Ashes With Art video on our website.

How much ashes are needed to make a glass art memorial or piece of cremation jewellery? One teaspoon is required for each item made. We return unused ashes with your finished piece.

Can I bring all my ashes to you if I don’t want to open them and remove the required amount of ash? Yes. Please bring your ashes to your local Memoria Crematorium and we will gladly decant the required amount of ashes.

How do I know that my piece contains my loved one’s ashes?

Our entire process is quality assured and each piece is certified to guarantee the ashes that are within it are those of your loved one.

ORDERING INSTRUC TIONS Ordering your Ashes With Art is easy. Follow the instructions below and if you have any questions, please call your local Memoria Crematorium. Should you wish to visit us, feel free to drop in or make an appointment and we will reserve our consultation room for you. All items take approximately 4 weeks to make.

Ordering in person: We will take the details of your order when you visit. All you need to bring is the ashes and we will guide you through the process as well as take the amount of ashes required for your order.

Ordering remotely: Please request an order pack from your local Memoria Crematorium. The pack contains a ring sizer, bag for the ashes, an eco friendly spoon to decant the ashes, a ring sizer and a free-post returns envelope. Once you have completed the order form on the opposite page, please add one teaspoon of ashes for each item in the sealable bag we provide. Then send the order form and ashes to us in our pre-paid returns envelope. This goes straight to Ashes With Art and once the ashes have been received we will call you to confirm all details and take payment.
