There is this crazy thing that people do now called pimping. No, I don’t I think I must have learned this mean like the jokers who sell women out scripture when I was 5 or 6, along with for their own financial greed. But people John 3:16. How Deep Is Your Love?

So men, we have everything to do with how our wives feel about themselves, how they see themselves, their self esteem, and their self value.

With the divorce rate climbing at an alarming rate, the church is not immune; it is being affected by this epidemic as well. Satan has set out to destroy unity in the home, and one of his tactics is to confuse the roles of husband, wife, parent/children, etc. Unity in the church begins with the home. I wanted to share this article with those who are married, engaged to be married, or thinking of marriage someday from a Christian viewpoint.

Third, how you treat your wife will determine the success of your prayer life. The effectiveness of your prayer life cannot be what God wants it to be unless you are treating your wife as the Bible says, unless you are meeting the needs of your wife. Sacrificially "even as Christ also loved the church and gave His life for it." We are the church by faith in Christ. He died for us - sacrificially.

Let's start with our brothers. Do you love your wife, or wife to be? Are you and your wife, or wife to be, friends? How well do you communicate? How do you treat your wife, or wife to be? I have been married for 20 plus year and truthfully I'm still learning how to be a good husband. So for all of you who believe you know everything there is to know about being a husband or being married, please share your knowledge with us. If not, then let's learn a few things together.

Are you willing to give your life for her in the same manner Christ gave his life for us? What kind of "love" is this? - not physical love - some who marry on this level doesn't last- not just human love- not just emotional tingle feeling Spiritual love - from the deepest aspect of our being. Love with the will. (1Cor. 13 kind of love, vv. 4-7) If you were to read these words to a husband who was having conflicts with his wife, he may say, "I can't love like that." I would say, "I know you can't, but with the help of the Holy Spirit you can."

Haven't you read, that at the beginning the Creator made them male and female, and said, “FOR THIS REASON A MAN WILL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE UNITED TO HIS WIFE; AND THE TWO WILL BECOME ONE FLESH.” (Gen. 2:24) So they are no longer two, but one.

Therefore, what God has joined together, let man not separate. This is a permanent joining, until death.

Now, for our sisters who may be saying, “Yeah, that's right. That's what my husband is supposed to do.”

All I can say is that all of you wives and women are perfect! So we just need to go on to something else, you know. But we are going to talk about "The Kind of Wife Every Husband Needs".

First, we should understand that God created us (man) with a need for companionship. Men Need Close Companionship. One of the deepest pains sociologists have measured in society is living an isolated and lonely life. They report that such people ache with a deep pain they can't even fully describe.

Second, understanding your wife is a lifelong process. Women are very complex. Amen? The adventure of marriage is for a husband to open one door in his wife's life and behind that there is another door.

He opens that door and behind that door there is another door. There are so many aspects of a woman's personality, and of a wife's needs, that part of the adventure of marriage is moving through life discovering how we can minister and meet those needs.

Proverb 18:22, "Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favor from the Lord."

Every man should desire a good wife, and every woman should desire to be that good thing. Whether we are talking about salvation, or whether we are talking about loving one another and living in our home. The Bible is the basic. The basic needs of husbands and wives are not the same. One of the reasons we have conflict is sometimes one mate will feel like her basic needs are the same as his. And he will go about to fulfill those needs, not knowing that the wife's needs and his needs are different. Or the wife will say these are my needs, so these must be his needs as well. She will try to apply what she needs to him and that doesn't work out.

Words to Ponder LIL Chocolate BoY AKA - Charles Ademolu

OK...please sit back, be alert, and scrutinize this article carefully. I don't know how, nor why God is doing some strange, yet miraculous, things at my school, HSPVA (High School for the Performing and Visual Arts). I guess I'll simply start off in the beginning. A while back I remember praying to God, specifically saying, "Lord, use me wherever it may be. I'm saying YES. Just use me." But, the thing about praying a "statement" like so is that God will bring it to past, whether you remember it or not.

God has such a mild and meek humor; it's unbelievable, but somehow, that prayer came to pass through God's move at my school.

There happens to be two others that God purposely put in this magnificent scenario, but I'll tie them into the story in a bit. Oddly enough, Elder Stephens prayed with me one Sunday morning, and he told me that "God was going to be using you at HSPVA in a great way." Now as I'm typing, I continuously see God's prefect humor in his work. Now back to those "two" people I was talking about. One of them happens to be a young minister at his church (a tongue speaking, prophesying, Jesus baptized, Apostolic church) and has the gifts of Prophecy and Speaking in Tongues. I just wanted to throw that in there.

Now, back to my topic. He ends up getting me into morning prayer, outside on the basketball court at 7:35, with him. And I, of course, said yes. After a few weeks of praying certain things to God (one was an increase in the people who prayed with us), God shows up again. Now here is where the second individual comes in. God is so good. LOL. This young woman of God (who also speaks in tongues and is bold for Christ) was praying one night about finding someone with the same Godly mindset, boldness, and biblical foundation she had - people of God who wanted a change. She also was praying to find people who were just as fed up as she was about hearing the same stories about sex, drugs, fornication, impurity,

the cursing, contradiction, and blasphemy of the Word of God at that school. But we are talking about a before time God who made the beginning and the end and knows everything in between.

That very next day, God steered her to that young tongue speaking, prophesying minister. For some reason, God allowed something to happen that day that drove her to him for prayer. God moved and they both tried the spirit by the spirit. That same night he called me and said, "We got another one added to ministry." As we talked on the phone, he got a call and surprisingly enough, it was her. He put us all on threeway. As we all continued to talk and marvel at how God brought us together, He moved so much while we were on the phone. That night we were speaking in tongues, prophesying what God was going to bring to past at that school, and we nearly prayed for almost an hour.

And what made things so much more awesome was that it felt so natural and ordinary. God is so awesome.

Anyway as we kept praying outside on the basketball court, a fourth addition was added. This new young man has been seeing Christ through us, and even he is on fire for God. We can tell by his sudden change in lifestyle, walk and talk. And doesn't the Bible say we are the salt of the earth).

Now please check this out. One morning, as we were in the commons (place where everyone associates before class), God spoke to me and gave me a quick vision. I quickly told the rest of the ministry that "We are going to be coming from outside on the basketball court to inside in the commons." I didn't know when that would come to past, but sooner more then later, it would. A week or two later, the young minister of God called me on a Monday morning and said, "God told me today, that we are praying in the commons." Confirmation, Confirmation, Confirmation. That same day, God's spirit moved so

Continued from page 2 I think many times needs are not met in marriage because of some selfishness, but also many times because we really don't know what one another's needs are. Sometimes we don't communicate in ways that we understand one another. Communication is one of the main problems that we deal with. So we get the need for physical love twisted when we fail to communicate. (I Corinthians 7:4-5).

The principle of submission is to say the husband and wife should submit one to another. This scripture was not intended to give either power over the other, or to say that the husband, or the wife, is weak/passive in order to be submissive. It is not too difficult for a weak person to submit! But remember, Jesus was strong, a leader of leaders, yet He submitted Himself to the cross of Calvary. That was strength under control.

great part of your commitment to the Lord. A part of living a consecrated Christian life is to understand and meet the needs of your mate.

So, if there ever comes a point in your marriage when you contemplate divorce, ask yourself just how deep your love for your mate is. Men are you willing to give your life for her? Women are you willing to submit to him? Is your marriage in line with the word of God? Is this part of my Christian calling? If your answer is yes, and I pray that it is, then divorce will not even be part of how you resolve your conflicts.

Now if you are not a believer in Jesus Christ, then the above statement would not apply. A word of encouragement to the single brothers and sisters: “If you are thinking about a divorce before you are married, maybe it's best to remain single just a little longer”.

A man should fulfill his duty as a husband, and a woman should fulfill her duty as a wife, and each should satisfy the other's needs. Continued from page 3 heavily that in the midst of our praying (in tongues of course), we laid hands on the 4th addition to the group (ministry) and prayed for him. Not only that, but the minister began to pray and prophecy specifically what God told him to tell the young woman of God. Before he could even finish, she was on the ground crying and speaking in tongues. And if you didn't know, this all happened in the presence of other students.

A week later, God used me. On this morning, we set the atmosphere and felt God move greater than the previous week. After we were done praying, the best friend of the young woman of God walked over to our Apostolic Table/praying area (dangerous thing to do after God's move) and begins to talk. Ironic thing is, as she was talking to us, God was talking to me to tell her some things. He told me to tell her that this was her time to be blessed, and God was going to do some crazy

things that were going to blow her mind. He also said that she had to let some people in her life go. The entire time she stood there in awe and amazement and was asking, "Who told you that? How did you know? Are you psychic?" The only thing I could say was that was the voice of God. As I finished telling her what God said, she began to cry a little. After God spoke, we prayed for her. Later that day, the young women of God came to me and said how much her friend didn't understand what had happened. She also told me that when I left, her friend began to cry out and knew that she had to get rid of some of those people. Dare I say it again, CONFIRMATION. God is doing great things at my school, and I can't get over the fact that this is just the beginning. I love what God is doing at my school, as well as others. Sorry if I seem overly excited, but this is amazing. I'll be updating you on what God does next, so be prepared.

It’s a gorgeous sunny day, a bit cool, but otherwise lovely it is. And I’ve been thinking that I would love to be out in it. Maybe typing away in a café or a beautiful park.

So to try to get my mind past the humming of the fridge that sits behind my chair, I look up at my wall of memories that I have created for myself to help keep my creative juices flowing.

As I look at the various photos, I see friends, children, nature and far away places that have become apart of my life, my experience. All of these people and places play apart in the shaping of my life. Some in big ways, others in small ways. Some I may see again, while others are a once in a life time moment.

There is a photo of a lighthouse in Puerto Rico that I took while on holiday with my mother several years ago. That one picture starts a slide show of others in my mind. There are countless stories that I can tell, like when my mum told me, a non- Spanish speaking person, to get direction from different people as we ventured into the non-English speaking town out side San Juan. Or another story that comes to mind is when I was looking at the beauty of Old San Juan ahead of me and noticed that there was a drop in the city wall below. As I looked down I saw that even in that old historical tourist ridden city, there was a slum hiding away from all of the outside visitors.

There are photos that cause my mouth to water at the thought of great foods like pizza, fresh cheese and French bread, or one of my favorites, olives.

Some of the images recall funny moments with my sister while on holidays, two young ladies having a blast at discovering the world. As I stare at my wall I think about a story that I think my sister and I will tell her children. I think it’s one of my favorite non-missionary travel stories. I can probably say that this trip ruined my feet, but drew my sister and I closer together.

Being our father ’s daughters, we have learned to be budget travelers, which means we walk 80% of the time and catch public transport the other

For some reason I decided that my blue suede shoes would be perfect to fit into the “euro look”.

By the time we reached Italy I was limping due to a fallen arch. Yes, it was so painful, but it brought about so many laughs as I hobbled along, demanding that we keep walking so I could see more of the beauty of Venice. Then to make matters worst, we missed our train back to Milan and had to find a place to crash for a few hours.

We found a place for about 50eros. In the winter cold at 11pm I had to hobble over the bridge, around the corner, down the street to our hotel.

As I fell out on top of the bed, we laughed and laughed. I have not worn those shoes since. LOL! Then there are the other important memories. The ones of individuals who I have been blessed to meet. Some I now call friends, and others who gave me a reason to continue striving to live a life of purpose.

There is one photo that brings that to mind.

After speaking at a girl’s boarding school in Nairobi, there was a young girl who insisted on walking me out the gate. When I asked to take a picture with her, she smiled, not saying much. To her I had become a possible dream. How many young dark skinned American women came to their school? How many took a moment to stop and talk to them personally? To me, I’m just another person. But at that moment we both became a memory for each other.

What I realize about memories is that they can be multi-demensinal. They can remind you of where you have been. But more importantly, they can tell you where you should be, and where you can go.

In every bad memory there is a good one waiting to be discovered. In every good one, there is a great one waiting to be lived.
