Changing the Rules...Back Before I begin this article, let me make a disclaimer: I’m so grateful to serve God in the 21st century! We have the ability to present the gospel in ways the apostles or even our 19th century fathers could not imagine.

I think the answer lies in the way we “do church”. We do church as if it’s laundry, an exam, and for some getting our tooth pulled. It’s something he have to do, but we really don’t want to DO IT.
But here’s what needs to happen. First, we need to allow our minds to be renewed. Secondly, open ourselves up to Him so that He can restore the passion for Him (which encompasses everything). Thirdly, give ourselves as a sacrifice to Him, instead of complaining, and lying about how we are sacrificing for Him. You can’t sacrifice for God, but you can be a sacrifice unto Him. And when we have completely given Him full access, we become vessels meant for the Master’s use.
