brewology BRANDING GUIDE

INTRODUCTION ABOUT US brewology is a coffee startup by a

college student who enjoys cold coffee and wants to share this love with the world.

WE VALUE time and taste, which is why we make our cold brew packets into ready-to-go steeping bags in different flavors.

WE AIM

to increase accessibility and efficiency in cold brew preparation. cold brew is well-known for its rich, smooth flavor. however, it’s time-consuming to prepare. this is what we want to circumvent.

LOGO

ALL ABOUT THE BEAN

the sunshine bean stemmed from the idea that coffee is meant to be the first thing you seek out in order to jumpstart your day. it’s what you want to see when you wake up. like the sun, brewology’s coffee aims to make your mornings effortlessly begin at a simple steep of a packet. with each grounded bean of sunshine, it’s no wonder we have a “taste that shines.”

LOGO USE & VARIANCE

THE LONE BEAN

this version is meant for versatility. it can be used for packaging, photography edits, ads, etc. it works well for any spatial constraint.

HORIZONTAL LOGO

this version is the preferred one for all packaging, especially the cold brew packets. it works well for spatial constraints that require such configuration.

STACKED LOGO WITH TAGLINE

this version is geared towards applications in ads to promote our value for time and taste with a short tagline.

note: the logo color may vary in an appropriate fashion but should never stray from the palette

INAPPROPRIATE USE LOGO USAGE DON’TS: 1. don’t separate the bean from sunshine marks unless it is for a bean pattern. 2. don’t change the bean orientation to a vertical one. 3. don’t distort proportions of the bean by stretching the logo. it must be proportional to the tagline and logotype. 4. don’t add any special effects. 5. don’t outline the logo with any stroke or effect of any sort. 6. don’t alter the bean’s structure where the initial design is compromised.

LOGO SIZE & SPACE

space elements using the “rule of beans.” elements should be spaced out by about one bean.

OUR PHOTOGRAPHY

our secondary graphic elements focus on everyday moments. we promote a lifestyle of enjoying the simple things that are most accessible. whether it be your morning brew or a walk outside, what’s more accessible than the sunrise itself ?
