ABOUT ME
I graduated with honors in 1998 when I received my AA degree for Interior Design. Shortly before graduation I became an invaluable asset for Camille Fanucci of Interior Design Concepts. I quickly learned what a designer does, established contacts at SFDC, selected fabrics, furniture, and building materials. I met with clients professionally, created furniture plans, wrote proposals, purchase orders, and invoices with specialized interior design software.
In 2006 I began my own interior design business. I made true, long lasting connections with my clients, and their families. I continue to create exquisite designs leading a team of installers, fabricators, and contractors.
I have performed work in California, Arizona, and Seattle. I enjoy traveling for work and pleasure. Ideally, I would like to tackle projects throughout the United States and abroad.
I am affiliated with ASID, IIDA, and NEWH. I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in the Spring of 2023, and currently working towards the NCIDQ exam.

The Client
General Motors Collaboration Project to create a fully autonomous of the future, 100 years after the first GM car was built and hit the road.
Guided by Bryan Nesbitt- Executive Director Global Advanced Design, Frank Saucedo- Director of Design Advanced Design California and Frank Rudolph- Designer Advanced Design California. The key factors were to create a car with zero crashes, zero emissions, and zero congestion.
Project Overview
Working in a team of 3, an Industrial Designer, UX/UI Designer and Interior Designer, we created an autonomous car, the city it will function in, and with all the newest technologies.
We had one semester to collaborate from conception to completion with guidance from head engineers at GM to guide the mission.

Program
Client Goals
General Motors Collaboration Project to create a fully autonomous car. How will it look? How will it function? How will the city make this available with non Autonomous Vehicles on the highways and city streets.
The Mission
Adapt cities to the era of electric AV’s where the city and car work together to create a better user experience.
Manifesto
Named after GM’s founder himself William C. Durant, who completely revolutionized the car industry and transformed Detroit. Durand City’s end goal is inspired by his sentiment. Don’t just change the car, change the world for the car. Durant City is transforming the infrastructure on the world around it to better accommodate electric vehicles to reduce emmissions.

Changes
Todays Cities have limited housing, overpriced markets, and are overpopulated.
Events
Current cities are not EV/AV friendly and EV/AV are currently not efficient to operate at 100% on their own. We need to create a city where AV’s are self reliable & human trusted.

Design Process
Ideation Sketching in layers with underground for large bulky trucks that haul rubbish or deliveries, next level for pedestrian travel and up from there with tubes around the city perimeter for autonomous vehicles.
Computer Sketching to create the Durant City in logo form and a city based on the DC that incorporates houses, restaurants, office space and retail. Every detail of life a person would like to enjoy in a city.
