Some Things Have Changed. Our Mission Never Will. Twenty-five years ago, I lost my mother, Sheila, to breast cancer. Our family’s dream was to create a place where women in Santa Clarita would have access to exceptional breast care close to home. Today, when I look at my children, I’m reminded why that mission still matters. Every advancement at the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center means more mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends have the opportunity for earlier detection, better treatment, and more precious years with the people they love.

Dear Friends, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and throughout Santa Clarita, our community is once again coming together to support the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital and to share a message that means so much to me personally: Early Detection Saves Lives.
