We are so happy to be back!

Everyone at Meldreth Manor School is so excited and delighted to be back at school, and operating in our “new normal”.

Having relocated in the flats for ‘home schooling’ throughout the summer term, we are so glad to be able to be back within our school building. Obviously we have stringent COVIDsafe regimes in place, but we are happy to work through all these challenges in order to protect the integrity of learning and also to ensure that school is not intruding into the children’s Home. We even have stylish new t-shirts to help remember to socially distance. Of course the Children’s Home, and Therapy teams have continued to provide the very best care and provisions for our children throughout the baking hot summer months.

With careful management and strict restrictions, our families have begun to be able to visit safely and some of our children have even been able to visit home.

Unfortunately the children did not enjoy holidays away as they usually would through the summer break. We

are all the more grateful that we have the large school grounds that we are so lucky to have. We love our new water wall and learning stations around the grounds.

We continue to work hard to make the grounds beautiful. Our dahlias and sunflowers have been amazing. The gardening bug is definitely starting to grow. We are delighted to welcome new students and many new staff to our team.
