Online application with all matters reserved other than access for the erection of nine selfbuild dwellings on land at Fenny Lane farm.

Technical proposal – drainage-does not meet planning S/7 issue of density of development. Comments: while flood risk is mitigated for new houses by a bund, the existing building in the same risk area 14, is not mentioned; a cause for objection unless 14 is similarly protected. Noted that the Planning Officer at GC Shared Planning objected to the application as it contravenes policy S/7 regarding location of site outside development framework boundary of Meldreth.

The development does not comply with policy NH/2 (protection of landscape character). The nine dwellings on this constrained piece of land would densify a low density village edge, out of context with the surrounding area.

MPC continues to object strongly to the application
