Speed Monitor Data

The monitor is placed approximately 200 metres up from the crossroads on Whitecroft Road during Covid restrictions.

When leaving Meldreth in the 30 mph speed limited zone, almost half of all vehicles were speeding. It is concerning to see that some drivers were travelling in the high 60’s mph in a 30 mph zone. There were 405 drivers traveling out of the village and 162 drivers traveling into the village at over 50mph during the two month monitoring period.
