e encan annuel de taureaux. Nous avons un très beau groupe à vous présenter dont nous sommes fiers. C’est le résultat de plus de 30 ans d’élevage et de nombreux investissements en génétique. Nos taureaux ont été sévèrement sélectionnés de la naissance à aller jusqu’à aujourd’hui. Ils sauront répondre à ce que vous recherchez. Ils ont été alimentés de façon à être un taureau reproducteur et non un bouvillon. Notre programme alimentaire est suivi par M. Alain Doucet, qui fait un suivi très serré de l’alimentation et plusieurs visites à la ferme pour valider le tout. Nous recherchons un gain respectable pour avoir des taureaux bien développés, mais sans exagération. Ceci est notre philosophie afin de garder de bons pieds et membres sur les taureaux, et ne pas risquer de diminuer la fertilité de ceux-ci. Ceci se traduit par une faible accumulation de gras et une qualité de pieds et membres que vous pourrez constater le 7 mars. Une nouveauté cette année, tous les taureaux de l’encan auront passé le test de semence, pour toute question vous pouvez rejoindre Dr. Jonathan Lehouiller. Le rapport de vétérinaire sera remis à chaque acheteur.

De plus, prenez le temps de nous contacter, de nous indiquer vos besoins, du type de taureau que vous recherchez. Il nous fera plaisir de vous renseigner sur les lignées derrière les taureaux. Si un taureau âgé de plus d’un an ne réussit pas à être reconnu comme étant un reproducteur après avoir été employé pendant 3 mois pour des vaches (en nombre restreint) qui sont des reproductrices reconnues, la chose devra être rapportée par écrit au vendeur. Les taureaux sont garantis pour une période de 9 mois à partir de l’encan. Après cette période, aucune réclamation ne sera acceptée. Dans tous les cas, la responsabilité du vendeur envers l’acheteur est limitée au prix de vente payé par l’acheteur.

All the animals offered in this sale are guaranteed breeders. If a bull (more then 12 months old) cannot breed after being with cows for 3 months (reasonable amount), a written report must be sent to the seller. The bulls are guaranteed for a period of 9 months. After that period, no claim will be accepted. In all cases, the seller is responsible for no more then the purchase price.

Cross Fire à 1 an Voici notre 2e groupe de taureaux de Cross Fire, un taureau que nous sommes allés choisir en allant visiter plusieurs éleveurs et plusieurs différentes lignées et familles charolaise, pour finalement se faire sur notre choix, et nous l’avons acquis. Comme dans chaque business, il faut le voir comme un investissement. Le résultat est le même que l’an dernier, la constance de ce taureau est incroyable. Que ce soit pour saillir nos génisses ou nos vaches adultes, Cross Fire répond à toutes nos demandes. Il est ce qu’on appelle un taureau de type complet. Il n’a pas de faille qui pourrait nuire à un élevage.

Il possède une longueur impressionnante, un dos large et une très bonne musculature. Et je ne peux outrepasser un dernier point, un point que plusieurs races dans la dernière décennie ont négligé en visant trop la performance : la qualité des pieds et membres. Ce taureau est la perfection et n’aura jamais besoin de passer dans une cage de taillage. Une expression est souvent utilisée en anglais pour décrire ce type de démarche : He move like a cat. Il a 5 ans cette année et il est encore aussi solide qu’à l’âge de 2 ans.

Here is the second group of bulls off Cross Fire. We purchased him after visiting numerous different breeders and studying many different bloodlines and cow families before settling on him as our next herdbull. Bulls are our business, and a herdbull is considered an investment. The results are the same as last year; the consistency of this bull is incredible. Whether we use him on heifers or the cow herd Cross Fire has met all our demands. He is the complete package, and can only help a breeding program. He possesses impressive length, wide top, and very good muscling. Most importantly, he excels in an area we feel has been neglected by lot of breeds in the last decade who have been chasing more performance, and that is feet and legs. He has a perfect foot that will never need to be trimmed. He moves like a cat and at the age of 5 still looks like a 2 year old.

Nous sommes extrêmement satisfait des résultats de HVA Baron, taureau vendu 40 000$ en 2017. Il transmet une courte gestation, des veaux vigoureux, du dos et une bonne épaisseur et des excellents pieds arrière. Nous l’avons utilisé cette année sur des taures et nous comptons l’utiliser grandement dans nos génisses cette année, il est dur de trouver un taureau qui vêle facilement dans les taures et dont les veaux sont au-delà de la moyenne au sevrage, Baron le transmet d’une façon remarquable!!

We are extremely proud of the results from HVA Baron, bull sold in 2017 for $40 000. He produces short gestation, vigorous calves, some top and thickness with excellent back feet. We used him this year on heifers and we want to use him alot more on this year’s heifers. It is hard to find a good bull with easy calving for yearlings and that the calves have above average for weaning. Baron transmits it in a remarkable way.

Voici nos premier fils de Loub 225D. Un taureau qui s’était démarqué dès sa naissance, que nous avons vendu à Kelvin Egan et que nous avions gardé un droit de récolte. Ils surpassent nos attentes, non seulement sur leur capacité, mais ils sont aussi excessivement faciles de naissance. Nous l’avons même utilisé sur des génisses!! Les veaux sont vigoureux et excessivement profond avec un frame modéré. Loub 225D sera fortement présent dans notre programme génétique dans les prochaines années.

Here is the first son of LOUB 225D, a bull that stood out since birth and was sold to Kelvin Egan. We kept a semen interest in him and he exceeded all our expectations, not just for capacity, but he was extremely easy calving.

We even used him on heifers!!! His calves are vigourous at birth and super deep ribbed with moderate frames. 225D will be an intergral part LOUB 225D of our breeding program in the coming years.
