encan annuel de taureaux. Nous avons un très beau groupe à vous présenter dont nous sommes fiers. C’est le résultat de plus de 30 ans d’élevage et de nombreux investissements en génétique. Nos taureaux ont été sévèrement sélectionnés de la naissance à aller jusqu’à aujourd’hui. Ils sauront répondre à ce que vous recherchez. Ils ont été alimentés de façon à être un taureau reproducteur et non un bouvillon. Notre programme alimentaire est suivi par M. Alain Doucet, qui fait un suivi très serré de l’alimentation et plusieurs visites à la ferme pour valider le tout. Nous recherchons un gain respectable pour avoir des taureaux bien développés, mais sans exagération. Ceci est notre philosophie afin de garder de bons pieds et membres sur les taureaux, et ne pas risquer de diminuer la fertilité de ceux-ci. Si un taureau âgé de plus d’un an ne réussit pas à être reconnu comme étant un reproducteur après avoir été employé pendant 3 mois pour des vaches (en nombre restreint) qui sont des reproductrices reconnues, la chose devra être rapportée par écrit au vendeur. Les taureaux sont garantis pour une période de 9 mois. Après cette période, aucune réclamation ne sera acceptée.

Dans tous les cas, la responsabilité du vendeur envers l’acheteur est limitée au prix de vente payé par l’acheteur.

All the animals offered in this sale are guaranteed breeders. If a bull (more then 12 months old) cannot breed after being with cows for 3 months (reasonable amount), a written report must be sent to the seller.

The bulls are guaranteed for a period of 9 months. After that period, no claim will be accepted. In all cases, the seller is responsible for no more then the purchase price.

Assurément un des prospects de la vente. Un phénotype impeccable, une démarche parfaite, il a le look pour gagner des expositions, mais sans négliger mon point le plus important : capable de produire des sujets qui vont répondre au besoin de l’industrie, tant au niveau de l’élevage pur-sang que commercial. LOUB 430E n’est pas le résultat du hasard : son père Grizzly a laissé sa marque dans plusieurs très bons troupeaux du Canada, et sa mère est une fille de Sanchez, et si on regarde un peu plus loin, on retrouve Marquis, un taureau qui nous a fait des femelles d’une très grande qualité. Elle-même, à son premier veau, avait produit un taureau vendu parmi les plus chers de notre encan, vendu à Ferme Patoine, et aussi une femelle vendue à Tri-N Charolais, dont Jesse m’a fait part qu’elle produit un des meilleurs taureaux cette année.

Certainly one of the sale features. A flawless phenotype, with a perfect stride. He has the look of a show winner, but without overlooking the most important aspect of a herd bull; being able to meet the demands of the beef industry and to produce marketable progeny for both the purebred and commercial producer. LOUB 430E is no accident: his sire, Grizzly has left his mark in numerous good Canadian herds, and his dam is a high quality Sanchez daughter. Her first calf was a high seller in our bull sale, to Ferme Patoine and a daughter was sold to TRI-N Charolais and has produced one of their top bulls this year.

Les fils de Grizzly répondent à la demande de nos clients, soit des taureaux qui ne demandent aucune assistance au vêlage, mais qui recherchent la plus value du terminal charolais avec un gain de poids élevé. Nous avons acquis sa mère dans un encan de femelles ici-même à la ferme, donc après l’avoir moi-même préparée, je savais qu’elle serait une bonne candidate pour faire son chemin dans notre troupeau.

Vous voyez la constance de Blast depuis 2 ans pour la musculature et la profondeur et de bons aplombs. Du côté de sa mère, c’est une de nos très solides vaches du troupeau. / One of my favorites and as I often say, a bull must have a good cow family behind him to transmit as much genetic consistency as possible. His mother is one of the foundation cows in our herd. Blast sons have been some of the most consistent bulls here for the last 2 years. Great muscle shape, deep ribbed, and wide based.

Un taureau à ne pas manquer! Un de nos meilleurs performants. Et comme selon moi, je ne peux vendre un taureau seulement par la performance, il faut aussi qu’il soit toujours bien conformé. Celui-ci correspond bien à cette exigence. Sa mère est une très solide vache que nous avons achetée du troupeau d’Alain Larouche.

Depuis que nous l’avons, ceci est son 5e veau, et les 5 ont été destinés à la reproduction.

Don’t miss this guy! One of our highest performing bulls. You can’t buy a bull on gain alone, but this Billboard son also has an excellent conformation. His mother is a solid producing cow we purchased from Alain Larouche. She has had five calves to date, all of whom have been have been kept or sold for reproduction.

Cross Fire à 1 an Voici notre premier groupe de taureaux de Crossfire, un taureau que nous sommes allés choisir en allant visiter plusieurs éleveurs et plusieurs différentes lignées et familles charolais, pour finalement se faire sur notre choix, et nous l’avons acquis. Comme dans chaque business, il faut le voir comme un investissement. En voici le résultat. La 1ere année, il nous a donné seulement quelques veaux, car nous l’avons reçu vers la fin de notre saison de saillie. L’an dernier nous avions seulement 4 de ses fils à vendre, vendu pour une moyenne de 5700$. L’année d’ensuite, il a saillie toutes nos taures, et c’est ce groupe que nous avons à vous offrir, provenant surtout de vaches à leur 1er veaux. Sur 35 vêlages de taures, seulement 1 vêlage a demandé une légère assistance. Ceci est mon premier critère pour vendre un taureau avec facilité de naissance. Il possède une longueur impressionnante, un dos large et une très bonne musculature. Et je ne peux outrepasser un dernier point, un point que plusieurs races dans la dernière décennie ont négligé en visant trop la performance : la qualité des pieds et membres. Ce taureau est la perfection et n’aura jamais besoin de passer dans une cage de taillage. Une expression est souvent utilisée en anglais pour décrire ce type de démarche : He moves like a cat.

Here is our first group of bulls sired by Cross Fire. We visited many different breeders and studied numerous different genetics and families within the breed before finally deciding to purchase him. As in any business , important decisions such as choosing a herdsire are long term investments. Here are the results. The first year, since we didn’t get him until the end of our breeding season, we only had a few calves. Last year we had 4 sons in our sale. who averaged $5700. We bred all our heifers to him and this is the group we have to offer, mostly out of first calvers.On 35 calves, only one needed light assistance. The most important criteria in selling a calving ease bull. Crossfire has impressive length, a wide top, and great muscle expression. He also excels in a point I feel numerous breeds in the last decade have overlooked; that being leg and foot quality. His feet have never been touched and he moves like a cat!
