Dear Cathedral Irish Football Supporter:
Thank you so much for your attendance at the 22nd Annual Football Fundraiser. Over the last 22 years, this fundraiser has been the single most important event on our calendar other than our Friday night games. It allows us to feed our players. It helps us to adequately compensate our assistant coaches for the time and energy they bring to the program A big portion also goes to our program ’ s major infrastructure needs and the dozens of other miscellaneous expenses that occur throughout the year.
A special “thank you ” to our parent volunteers and everyone that has donated to this cause. I especially want to recognize Myranda Annakin and Katie McGovern, who have co-chaired this event They have worked countless hours to put on a first-class event
Lastly, I would like to thank the football coaching staff at Cathedral. These guys work tirelessly to ensure the young men in this program have a great experience. Make sure you stop and thank them when you get a chance. We have a great group of men that are tremendous role models and mentors.
For Cathedral Football, Bill Peebles
Cathedral, a premier Catholic high school in the Holy Cross tradition, transforms the hearts and minds of a diverse group of students to have the competence to see and the courage to act.
