Genius of Nature. The project was to study animals, organisms or plants. My genius was an Octopus that was then transformed into a living space/Architecture for foreign workers. My project title was ‘Autofillers Abode’. The effect of this project was to raise awareness for all of us to lend a helping hand in integrating them into the context of Singapore emotionally. In Autofillers Abode, the foreign workers will be able to share, sell and stay. They will be selling and sharing their local delights with Singapore in exchange for our local culture to build a more harmonious society. This will also help us in gaining more knowledge before travelling. This project brought me a chance to present my work in BEX Asia Exhibition in MBS (2019).

EDUSAVE AWARDS/AWARDS

Travels in Parallel Reality. The project was to study a way to bring an interaction between the past and the present. My site was at (2019/2020 Sem 2, 2020/2021 Sem 1) St. Andrews Nursing Home along Yung Ho Road which Microsoft Office Specialist (2015) was Tang Dynasty City in the past. Character Award & Good Progress Award (2012) I went on to explore on the types of chinese roofs and differentiated them into identities to inform the use of each building based on its roof. Then, I managed to KEY INTEREST sieve out 2 communities (Hopeful and Hopeless) where - Project Management they can decide, happiness or medication is their cure. - Architecture Design My project title was ‘ The Nursing Tang Dynasty ’ - Civil Engineering Merit Bursary (2021)(2020)(2019) NYP SDN Director’s List

Roof’s meaning Roofs in general are shelters, privacy and protection. Without a roof, there’s no home. However, in the Traditional Chinese culture, roofs represents their hierachy, their power in say, powers against spirits, shelter and the purpose of the space beneath them. The number of tiers, the angle of curvature and shape of the roofs carries its meaning. This project will show its meaning to the roofs.

1 tier (Round/圆) ‘all together’ roof

3 tiers (Round/圆) ‘all Must together’

1 tier with a non-smooth curvature: Selectives together and a lower care level.

2 tiers with a non-smooth curvature: Selectives together and a higher care level.

1 tier with smooth arch: ‘common and welcoming’

1tier with smooth arch: ‘not so grand but a soothing feeling’

3 tiers Round/圆’s togetherness with a flying top tier of lightness ‘grand and welcoming’

8 tiers Round/圆’s togetherness with a flying top tier of lightness ‘very grand and welcoming’

3 tiers with strict archs ‘grand yet fearful’

4 tiers with strict archs ‘very grand yet fearful’

1 tier with strict arch: ‘not so grand but with a sharp pointed tip’, facing its direction to the sky.

2 tier with strict arch: ‘grand and with a sharp pointed tip’, facing its direction to the sky.

u b The Study of Octopus Giant Pacific Octopus - World's Largest Octopus. The giant Pacific octopus. is a large marine cephalopod belonging to the genus Enteroctopus. Its spatial distribution includes the coastal North Pacific, along California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, Alaska, Russia, Japan, and Korean Peninsula.

Mantle The mantle is a highly muscled structure that houses all of the animal's organs.

Tentacle The limbs/tentacles of the octopus are flexible in a way that it can rotate, stretch , curl and contract whenever its needed. It helps them to move, eat and attack its prey. Its flexibility levels with its size from the end.

Brain

The octopus has a main brain with 8 other brain, 1 in each end tentacle.

Blue blood The veins of an octopus contains hemocyanin, which is copper-based. Copper is more efficient for transporting oxygen in low temperatures, but it makes the animals highly sensitive to changes in pH.

suction cup/sucker

Each sucker is attached to the arm by a muscular base that can rotate the sucker in any direction and can elongate it to twice its normal length This muscle gives a touch sensitivity that they can "walk" an item along an arm simply by moving the suckers.
