We are so excited to present to you this batch of our true yearlings and it was a no-brainer who to start with. Titanium combines not only two of our best cow lines but without a doubt two of our best cows. M72 is the dam who breeds a ‘front rower’ bull after bull. It’s rare to see a hindquarter like this in an Angus bull but unlike other really heavy muscled animals he is free moving, upheaded and easy doing. He covers his billowing muscle with a soft silky wrap and a fine coat and is whisk clean throughout the seat of his pants indicating his maternal attributes to pass on. Tasman’s maternal brother Shrek was one of the stars of our 2022 sale selling to Andrew Dean for $26,000, his maternal sister P117 is a donor in her own right. Not surprisingly he scanned the = second highest EMA, = second highest P8 fat. Independently assessed as a B muscle. Maternal brothers in the sale include Lots 43, 67 and 68 but this is the only one by the exciting new sire Rambo.

Easily one of the pick bulls of the sale and with his show stopping looks balancing his impressive data set this is, in our opinion, a bull worthy of stud attention. A curve bender who in the flesh is the = fifth highest ADG bull in the contemporary with excellent carcase – what a combination! Sometimes extra thickness binds animals up but in Tribunes case he has the correct structure to handle it. His depth and softness and that extra sparkle of pure quality means he will leave you with females to treasure. Pedigree wise, his dam’s first calf sold for $18,000 in our 2021 sale with her second calf selling to stud duties with astute breeders Colin and Lisa Keevers at Alumy Creek, NSW for $16,000. Tsar is a truly exciting bull that can take us to the next phase in creating our dream cow herd and he will feature heavily for us in future years as an AI sire but we offer the bull and semen rights here today. Thor has long been the standout bull of this yearling bull contemporary and he has been an easy pick for all those who have seen him. It’s hard for my words to do him justice except to say that of all the bulls in the sale he best combines all the quality and performance traits both in the flesh and on paper that we need to breed cattle that are both profitable and that we are immensely proud of. He is extra long and heavy, with the structural integrity to hold it all together and he finishes it off with the most beautiful Angus head and kind face. He is a complete gentleman. In the contemporary he was third highest ADG, scanned with the highest EMA, equal second highest P8 fat, high MF and a B- muscle. Please note that his Granddam has an E on her pedigree as her Donor Dam (his Great Granddam) was no longer around to get the higher density snip required to prove parentage. Tectonic for us is one of the most stylish and different bulls in the sale combining thump with smooth handsome. At first glance you would be impressed by his outlook and overall appeal as he has a fantastic front end with a wedge shape and huge bulging hindquarter. When you look into him that you realise that he’s not just a pretty boy as he weighs like lead being the equal fourth highest ADG bull in the sale as well as posting the second highest IMF scan. His performance in the flesh is backed up by his stud worthy data set and pedigree that is pretty unique combining the Te Mania Kirby carcase attributes with the maternal of Nixon and his Donor Great Grand Dam. He has impeccable structure that allows him to glide on the move with his held high and perfectly still. There is a small patch of white in front of his testicles. Pictured on page 34.

We knew the moment we saw Trojan that we had a freaky good calf on our hands. By the time we bought the mob in for their first 7-in-1 he looked like a silverback among chimps; broad, big, strong and thick. Today he still commands attention especially when he is on the move as he glides with his head stable and high, with a muscle of meat cruising along behind. Since birth he has continued to be the highest ADG bull in the sale. Due to his earlier maturity pattern we do expect him to slow up but he shows no sign yet. He is super docile. His big frame, deep sided dam has also posted two A+ rated heifers and has been flushed this Spring. Not surprisingly he scanned the = second highest EMA and has been independently assessed as a B muscle.

A number of visitors have picked out and keep coming back to this bull in the mob. He combines style, presence and power with extra extension and a whole lot of ‘look at me’ about him. This is a bull that is built top down where all the value lies. His grand-dam is an absolute tank from our Donor pen that we unfortunately lost to grass tetany last year and he blends two phenomenal cows in on both sides of his pedigree. He has a small patch of white in front of his testicles and has had pink eye which has been treated with no long term effects and full visibility. Scanned = third EMA.

Tonto was one of my favourite names and this is one of my favourite bulls in the sale. He is just easy to like whichever way you look at him and has passed every on the ground performance test with flying colours, being the first for P8 fat, third highest IMF, = fourth highest EMA and = fifth highest ADG. That overall performance is just extraordinary and backed up by his unique pedigree and data set. He is just a lovely bull that is super quiet.

Easily one of the better bulls in the draft with his combination of powerhouse muscle, balance and structural soundness. He has that perfect strong top with a well laid in tail set and is so smooth in his make up and yet packed chock full of red meat. He is very similar in type to Lot 29 and is so impeccably balanced. He was tested for NH and unfortunately came back as a carrier but that would not preclude him from really adding real value to a cross breeding situation. Scanned = fifth EMA.

This is an awesome pen of bulls and while it was a hard gig to find a bull to follow Lot 37, Touchdown fills the role with ease. We get so excited when genetic combinations work, but even more excited when they work consistently and this Rambo x Judo one is a touchdown... get it? This bull has an abundance of powerful early growth and doing ability. We believe he will continue on to be a bigger bull than most of the contemporary, so he will be great to use if you need more stretch. If you are looking to ensure you fold extra carcase in without compromising performance, then this bigger framed Rambo son gives you so many options to shift your herd in the right direction. Within his large contemporary of 80 bulls at the time, he scanned the highest IMF which reflects the way genomics sees his potential. Most high IMF bulls give away a bit on weight but he is also one of the heaviest bulls in the draft who is as deep as an ocean, deep flanked and naturally thick. He is also one of the quietest bulls in the sale. Overall a great all rounder!

Thorin has six full ET brothers in the sale in Lots 1, 15, 24, 46, 47 and 74 and is the consistency in these bull is a real testament to the potency of their beautiful dam N238 who is a full ET sister to widely used stud sire ben Nevis Newsflash owned by Bannaby and the daughter of the $82,000 Ben Nevis Jean M30 owned BY Bannaby and Banquet. Thorin has the same tidy, heavy muscled makeup of his brothers with a proud masculine stance but he will grow into a bigger frame bull than his brothers. His shoulder set up is superb and he packs a punch behind the shoulder which is an area of weakness in most cattle and represents a really valuable cut at the end of the longdissimus dorsi. He really should be further up the Lots. This is a bull with a personality and he is both inquisitive and gentle. Fantastic data-set. He scanned = second P8 fat with a high IMF. Suitable for heifers.

This is the second of four sons of M72 to sell in this sale with his full brothers selling at Lots 67 and 68. She is THE big bull getter in our herd and never misses at creating something special. It’s hard to believe, but Troy was orphaned at one month of age when his recip dam died of grass tetany. You’re investing in a combination of docility, carcase and maternal genetics when you consider this bull. His dam stems from the famous Burnett A22, a cow line we have always watched and admired and his Grandam Nemonaville H50 was a freak of nature for being ‘that’ big capacity, easy doing Angus cow that just pumps out the best calf every year. Skin is a real feature of the line and this bull is no exception- he adds in a great strong top line, plus calving ease and growth. Tolstoys dad Pythagorus has been an exceptional buy from us as he has been able to give us a boost in IMF without compromising the type and traits we want our cow herd to live by. It was really hard to know which of these full ET brothers to put first as they are so alike. Tenacity offers a calving ease option with excellent carcase and growth attributes, he really is an all rounder. My paddock comments for him always mention how balanced and neat he is with a tidy sheath, terrific head and an abundance of natural thickness. Traction is a very long bodied, higher yielding type of a bull who is smooth and well laid in about the shoulder. He has a slick coat which is something we have been building into our herd as we see it reflect on animals that have better scans for IMF and fleck as well as being those animals that do better in our country and re breed faster. Tailor Made’s maternal brother sold in our 2022 sale for $22,000 to Conrad Strahorn and this joining adds a little more EMA and IMF while maintaining the same physical attributes of balance with a trademark deep flank. Tailor made is a very well balanced bull which allows him to get his head up and cover ground easily, he carries his length more in the hip to pin rather than through the middle which explains this. One of the things that will strike you about this young bull is his deep rib and soft skin.
