We Will Never Forget: Field of Heroes 16th Anniversary of September 11th; 2nd Annual We Will Never Forget: Field of Heroes This event is for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands - to come together in solidarity to remember those who have perished; and to honor our HEROES that responded to save the many lives during this attack and who are still battling our fight against terrorism. Each flag purchased will be to remember or honor everyday heroes, military veterans, military service members, police officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, disaster responders, and all other first responders. As a community, we would like to honor and thank our men and women who have made the decision to serve and be called to duty. These individuals have made sacrifices to make our nation and islands a better place to live. We have done very little in saying thank you. When tragedy strikes and people will be running away, these men and women will be running towards the site to save lives, etc. And after a traumatic situation and scene, as a community, we need to find ways to support and provide services to help our HEROES cope with the situation they endured; for they too, are only human. By becoming a sponsor or making a donation, you will help in our efforts in providing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder support locally.
