LET'S CELEBRATE!

At Kilby Shores Elementary, students and teachers participate in PBIS. PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Interventions and Support PBIS is a reward for good behavior Students must follow the SHARK expectations and earn weekly points. Every 9 weeks, students who earn 7 out of 9 Shark Points earn the PBIS celebration
For the third marking period, almost 400 students participated in the celebration. Students earned an ice cream sundae party Students received a bowl of ice cream, then chose 3 of their favorite toppings.

Ms. Jones, Guidance Counselor, was asked her opinion of PBIS at Kilby Shores Ms Jones said, "PBIS encourages kids to have great shark behavior. When they earn their reward, it's awesome to see kids having fun."
Past celebrations include a game day and a glow stick dance party Students are currently working to earn their reward for the fourth marking period
