At this time of year, we’re all looking for value… it really inspires us. Well, I want to take this opportunity to share with you some of the value of your membership with Delta Association of REALTORS. Not only are we your resource for real estate-related goods, paying your membership fees for state and national dues as well as the MLS, but we are your advocates. We work to ensure you are represented at the state and national levels with local politicians, even with regard to MLS and technology for real estate. We provide education and networking opportunities and offer a modern and easily accessible facility for member services. We even have facilities available for professional use and for rental for personal use. We coordinate opportunities for community service and promoting the positive image for local REALTORS®. For the past couple of years, we have also offered free webbased technical support for your personal electronics, the Tech Helpline. This is worth literally hundreds of dollars. We offer a process for filing grievances and ensuring adherence to the Code of Ethics. Additionally, we lowered the local membership dues a few years back, and we are not increasing them for 2016. We do offer payment/installment options for payment of local dues to help your budget. If you want this option, please contact D.A.R. by Nov. 10.
Our canned food drive for the Foundation’s effort to support local food pantries is underway. Please ask your clients, office mates, friends, and family to contribute cans and/or cash. The more we collect, the more we serve. Make checks payable to Food Bank of Contra Costa-Solano. We need your involvement in 2016! 2016 President Errol Mooney and PresidentElect Mary Jane Dukellis want to fill their committee positions. This is your chance to “be in the know” and become part of the positive solutions and successes in our industry.
