D. A. R. Annual Membership Meeting: RESCHEDULED Last month we publicized our Annual Meeting to be held April 24th, BUT HOLD ON‌ It has been rescheduled for Tuesday May 6th at 11:30 AM in DAR Conference Room. Please plan to attend.

Our agenda will include an update on the state of our association, and an update on some of the issues facing our East County communities. Lunch is provided. This new date is now after Legislative Day and the C.A.R. Meetings in Sacramento, so we will be able to report on these meetings. Speaking of Legislative Day‌ Of course, if possible, plan now to attend Legislative Day on April 30 yourself. It is an all-day event wherein we get some quality time with our state politicians.

Legislative Days brings Realtors from all over the state to Sacramento. Scott MacIntyre, Chair of our Local Government Relations Committee has secured meeting appointments with Jim Frazier, 11th District Assemblyman and Mark DeSaulnier, 7th District State Senator. So, get your car pool together and head for Sacramento. How does our rebounding East County market compare to the state? East CC County is still experiencing higher than average distressed home sales. The following data are taken from C.A.R. and EBRD sources and compare March of this year to the state and county sales for March. Equity sales are rebounding though we are a bit behind. And, of course we still have low inventory.
