A good time was had by the 110 attendees to Delta’s annual installation banquet and dance held at Discovery Bay County Club. Our co-masters of ceremonies, Mike Guzzardo who worked the crowed with stories about Errol, getting lots of laughs. John Canning led us in the “Pledge of Allegiance,” followed by Maggie Hurtado, who sang God Bless America and asked us to take a moment of silence in honor of notable former leaders of our association whopassed away in 2015 – Past Presidents Doris Bedford in April and William “Bill” Schramm in December. The award for REALTOR® of the year was presented by 2014 recipient Scott MacIntyre to REALTOR® Dan Barnes of Berkershire Hathaway. Jeffrey Wright’s quick wit and dry humor maintained a consistent high energy level for all in attendance while he installed the officers and directors in a separate ceremony. 2015 President James Britto reviewed his accomplishments for the year and graciously thanked all his committee members, Board of Directors, and staff. The tasty meal was served on time.We’ve heard raves about the dessert!
