Alemanha  Localizada na Europa central, a Alemanha é o país com maior população entre os Estados membros da União Europeia. Com rica história, belas paisagens e inúmeras atrações turísticas, além de farta gastronomia, possui grande diversidade natural e cultural, sendo um dos mais populares destinos turísticos do mundo. De acordo com dados recentes do Centro de Turismo Alemão (DZT), foram registrados 68,8 milhões de pernoites de visitantes em 2012. A Alemanha passou a ser o segundo destino mais procurado da Europa. De castelos míticos a requintada arquitetura, vilas medievais românticas, vales alpinos, belos rios e lagos intocados, a Alemanha é uma combinação singular de encanto, cosmopolitismo e um estilo de vida único.

Destino para todas idades, tipos de viajantes e bolsos. Uma gloriosa nação mergulhada na história, arte e cultura, com muitos lugares interessantes para explorar. A Alemanha possui patrimônio monumental e locais únicos para quem gostar de viajar, como a magnífica Catedral de Colônia, os castelos de Neuschwanstein e de Hohenschwangau, os palácios e jardins de Potsdam, a Igreja de Nossa Senhora de Dresden, ou o cartão postal de Berlim, o Portão de Brandemburgo. Tantas belezas chamam a atenção de turistas do mundo todo. E o Brasil mostra sua relevância. A procura dos brasileiros cresceu acima da média do país.  Located in central Europe, Germany is the country with the largest population among member states of the European Union. With rich history, beautiful scenery and numerous tourist attractions, in addition to ample gastronomy, it has great natural and cultural diversity, being one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. According to recent data from the German National Tourist Board (DZT), 68.8 million overnight stays were recorded in 2012. Germany has become the second most popular destination in Europe. With mythical castles, exquisite architecture, medieval and romantic towns, alpine valleys, beautiful rivers and pristine lakes, Germany is a unique combination of charm, cosmopolitanism and a unique lifestyle. It’s a destination for all ages, budgets and types of traveller.

A glorious nation steeped in history, art and culture, with many interesting places to explore. Germany has monumental heritage and unique places for those who like to travel, like the magnificent Cologne Cathedral, the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, the palaces and gardens of Potsdam, the Church of Our Lady in Dresden, or the highlight of Berlin, the Brandenburg Gate. So many beauties grab the tourists attention worldwide.

Recently, Brazil has shown its importance. The demand of Brazilians grew above the national average. The number of overnight stays in 2012 was 19% higher than in 2011. Reasons to know Germany abound!

Não há melhor maneira de voar There is no better way to fly  Profissionais do Turismo de todo o mundo escolheram a Lufthansa como a “Melhor Companhia Aérea da Europa”, na edição de 2012 do prêmio World Travel Awards. É a terceira vez que a empresa alemã foi escolhida na premiação. A empresa também foi aclamada com um prêmio SkyTrax pelo seu produto oferecido à primeira classe no A380.

E a Lufthansa segue investindo em melhorias, cerca de 4 bilhões de euros serão empregados em lounges, salas de espera e terminais.

Para o Brasil, os planos são ambiciosos. Considerado o grupo com maior receita no mundo, e o que mais investiu na oferta de assentos, a Lufthansa aumentou em 75% sua capacidade de assentos em 18 meses. E para este ano, a companhia aérea seguirá com novidades. Ainda sem data confir-

mada, a empresa receberá o Boeing 747-8, que representará um aumento de 10% na capacidade de assentos, para operar a rota São Paulo – Frankfurt. O Aeroporto Internacional de São Paulo/Guarulhos será o primeiro da América Latina a receber o novo Jumbo. A aeronave tem capacidade de 467 passageiros na configuração com três classes. Para o próximo ano, a Lufthansa também irá operar rotas a partir de São Paulo com o Airbus 380, que garantirá um crescimento de 49% na oferta de assentos da companhia.

Somente no Brasil, a Lufthansa está investindo 400 milhões de euros para tornar diário o voo entre o Rio de Janeiro e Frankfurt. Desde que iniciou seus voos, levando em consideração à América Latina, o mercado fluminense cresceu 40%. Ao todo, a aérea alemã opera 28 voos por semana no País.

 Travel professionals around the world have chosen Lufthansa as the “Best Airline in Europe” in the 2012 edition of World Travel Awards and it was the third time that the German company had won the award. The company was also acknowledged with the SkyTrax award for its product offered to first class passengers on its A380’s. Lufthansa is also investing in improvements; about 4 billion euros will be spent in lounges, waiting rooms and terminals.

For Brazil, the plans are ambitious.

Considered as the group with the largest revenue in the world, and one that has invested the most in the supply of seats, Lufthansa has increased its seat capacity by 75% in the last 18 months. This year alone, the airline will continue with updates. Still with no confirmed date, the company

will receive the Boeing 747-8, which represents a 10% increase in seat capacity to operate on the São Paulo – Frankfurt route. The São Paulo International Airport/Guarulhos will be the first in Latin America to accommodate the new Jumbo. The aircraft has capacity for 467 passengers in a three-class configuration. For next year, Lufthansa will also operate routes from São Paulo with the Airbus 380, which will ensure a growth of 49% in the supply of seats by the company.

In Brazil, Lufthansa is investing 400 million euros to make the flight between Rio de Janeiro and Frankfurt into a daily service. Since starting its flights to Latin America, the Rio de Janeiro market has increased 40%. Altogether, the German airline operates 28 flights per week to the country.

Já Munique reúne animação, belas paisagens, história e cultura. É famosa pela Oktoberfest, uma verdadeira ode à cerveja e à vida. E Frankfurt, capital financeira da Alemanha, com cerca de 240 bancos, sendo 170 internacionais, é a quinta maior cidade do país. Em constante modificação, a cada ano novos edifícios são construídos.

Colônia conta com 12 igrejas romanescas, museus famosos, cruzeiros românticos pelo Reno, uma rua só de lojas com as principais grifes internacionais e, claro, muitos bares para degustar a tradicional cerveja Kölsch. Hamburgo coleciona os títulos de maior porto do país e cidade mais verde de toda a

Nuremberg tem lindas construções medievais como o Kaiserburg e casas em estilo enxaimel. Dresden faz jus ao título de Florença do Elba, devido ao farto conjunto de belezas artísticas e naturais que ganham um brilho todo especial no verão.

Düsseldorf, nas margens do rio Reno, é uma metrópole da economia, da moda e da cultura, de importância internacional. Hannover destaca-se pelo jardim barroco Herrenhäuser Gärten, o castelo neogótico Marienburg e o Zoo. Stuttgart, famosa mundialmente como berço da indústria automobilística e sede de grandes marcas como Daimler AG (que produz Mercedes-Benz), Porsche e Bosch, é sofisticada e urbana.

Leipzig é conhecida como a cidade da música, onde Bach passou seus anos de mais importância. Ele deixou sua marca na cidade, assim como muitos outros renomados compositores.

That’s how the 11 cities that make up the Magic Cities can be defined. It is up to the tourist to choose when deciding which “magic city” to visit. Berlin is a cosmopolitan city of contrasts. Since the fall of the Wall, investments of around 150 billion euros have been made. There are new and modern buildings in harmony with ancient and beautiful monuments. Munich has put together vibrancy, beautiful scenery, history and culture. It is famous for Oktoberfest, a true ode to beer and life.

Frankfurt, Germany’s financial capital, with about 240 banks – with 170 being international, is the fifth largest city in the country. Constantly changing, as each year, new buildings are constructed.

Dresden lives up to the title of the Florence on the Elbe, due to a generous set of natural and artistic beauties, which create a special glow throughout the summer.

Düsseldorf, on the banks of the Reno river, is an economic metropolis of fashion and culture with international importance. Hannover well known for the baroque garden, Herrenhäuser Gärten , the neo-Gothic Marienburg castle and Zoo. Stuttgart, famous worldwide as the birthplace of the automobile industry and home to big brands like Daimler AG (which produces Mercedes-Benz), Porsche and Bosch, is sophisticated and urban.

Leipzig is known as Music City, where Bach spent his principle years. He left his mark on the city, as well as on many other renowned composers.

Whether for a business meeting or vacation, nothing is easier, faster and more comfortable than traveling on the rails. Arriving by air in Germany, the Deutsche Bahn AG (DB) is right there to take you quickly, directly and comfortably to different destinations.

Connectivity between the different modes of transport is easy and the German railway company is one of the largest passenger transport and logistics networks in the world. It has about 34,000 km of track and 39,000 trains circulating daily.

The train station at Frankfurt Airport offers connections to any German or European city. A standard rate allows you to plan a flexible trip.

Further flexibility is possible with the German Rail Pass, which allows passengers to not have to pay any supplements on the German railway, and one can take advantage of many bonuses and discounts. With Deutsche Bahn, it is also possible to have Internet access in all waiting rooms and trains that have the HotSpot logo.

The main central stations in Germany are Berlin Hbf, Köln Hbf (Cologne), München Hbf (Munich) and Frankfurt Hbf. At these railway stations, you can connect to trains going to most major cities in Germany and several international destinations.

Neste cenário, o país é considerado pela sua notável eficiência, inovação e ampla variedade temática. Anualmente são realizadas aproximadamente 150 feiras internacionais com até 170.000 expositores e de 9 a 10 milhões de visitantes.

Para a realização de feiras interregionais e internacionais, 22 cidades alemãs oferecem mais de 2,7 milhões de metros quadrados de área de pavilhões. Três dos cinco maiores parques de feiras e exposições do mundo estão situados na Alemanha, que tem também sedes de quatro das dez empresas de feiras com maior faturamento do mundo. Assim, o setor de feiras no país, também a

nível internacional, está entre os principais ramos de prestação de serviços.

Os expositores e visitantes gastam juntos em suas atividades ligadas às feiras na Alemanha cerca de 12 bilhões de euros por ano. Os efeitos macroeconômicos na produção atingem 23,5 bilhões de euros. Com mais de 200 membros, o German Convention Bureau (GCB) é o ponto central de contato para congressos, reuniões, incentivos e eventos na Alemanha.
