While in the OA Common Area, please be aware of your surroundings. The Common Area serves many purposes. One of these purposes is the workspace for the Operations Assistant. Be mindful of the noise level, while in the OA Common Area. While there, please take the following steps: 1. Please do not increase the noise level in this area. Speak at a normal volume. 2. Do not hold the bay door open. 3. Please be respectful of the OA desk area. Do not congregate at the OA desk, etc. 4. If you are in need of something, please ask. Simply taking something off the desk or opening a drawer without asking does not demonstrate basic common courtesy to the person working. Your assistance with this matter is greatly appreciated! If you have questions, please contact Chris Kraetz at chrisk@medic911.com or 704-943-6226.

As previously noted, the latest Performance Pay Tracking Period began on July 1st. We are striving to meet the Patient Satisfaction goal of a ≥ 68% rating (experience as “Excellent”). In order to create a comfortable margin of performance, while continuing to improve the patient experience, we would like to share some feedback from recent patient focus groups. The two areas that patients value the most are: 1. Communication from the treating crew: “Explain treatment options and procedures” “Provide reassurance and compassionate communication with the patient” 2. Setting clear expectations: “Set transport length expectation” “Set a triage level expectation before arriving at the hospital”
