The latest Performance Pay Tracking Period began on November 1. We are striving to meet the Patient Satisfaction goal of a ≥ 50% rating (experience as “Excellent”). In order to create a comfortable margin of performance, while continuing to improve the patient experience, we would like to share some feedback from recent patient focus groups. COMPLIANCE CLASS TRAINING Corporate Compliance training is offered online via the LMS. You can go into the Computer Lab (formerly the Corporate Compliance classroom) or at your desk to complete the training. UPDATE, OPEN TOP DUMPSTER With less than 31 days left until we start the move to the new headquarters, now is the time to complete any purging that your office or space may require. With this in mind, please be aware of the following items:
There is a new open top dumpster parked in the back of the building near Logistics. It is ready to be filled! Please note that this dumpster will be taken away on Wednesday 12/27/2017. Please plan your purging accordingly. The dumpster will not be replaced. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. We will need the space for other, move related, things.
As a reminder, the open top dumpster is only for trash/bulk items. Biohazards and red bags need to be disposed of in their normal fashion. Please contact Patrick Crane at patrickc@medic911.com with any questions. FALL PREVENTION TIPS Falls represent a serious hazard. In 2015, falls at home resulted in 21,100 deaths, according the 2017 edition of “Injury Facts,” a National Safety Council chartbook. Bathrooms, in particular, can be danger zones when it comes to falls. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notes that about 235,000 people older than 15 visit emergency rooms each year because of bathroom-related injuries. To help stay safe, place nonslip mats inside and outside of tubs; keep nightlights in bathrooms for increased visibility at night; and remove tripping hazards. To help prevent falls both at home and at work, NSC offers several tips: • Ensure electrical and phone cords are secured away from high-traffic areas, such as hallways and in front of employees’ desks. • Always keep cabinets and drawers closed when not in use. • Wear proper footwear. • Clean up spills as soon as they occur, and post warning signs when necessary. • Avoid walking distracted.
