The latest Performance Pay Tracking Period began on July 1. We are striving to meet the Patient Satisfaction goal of a ≥ 50% rating (experience as “Excellent”). In order to create a comfortable margin of performance, while continuing to improve the patient experience, we would like to share some feedback from recent patient focus groups. The two areas that patients value the most are: 1. Communication from the treating crew: “Explain treatment options and procedures” “Provide reassurance and compassionate communication with the patient” 2. Setting clear expectations: “Set transport length expectation” “Set a triage level expectation before arriving at the hospital”

TO DO LIST x Make an appointment online to schedule a time for biometrics and flu shot. x All benefit eligible employees MUST enroll or waive medical, dental and vision coverage. Computers will be at the Health Fair to complete this process. n Enrollment for all benefits will be online HEALTH FAIR “FYI“ • Flu Shots will be administered in Operations Conference Room 1 (across from Kevin Staley’s office); employees MUST bring their ID badge and CIGNA ID cards or the MyCigna phone app. • Vendors will be in the back area of the bay (where MedPat is administered). • On-line HRA questionnaire will be set-up in the bay area near the vendors. • There will be no dedicated kids’ zone due to space limitations. • Biometric screenings will be administered in the Medical Services Conference Room (behind the receptionist desk); employees MUST bring their CIGNA ID cards or the MyCigna phone app. • Employees must complete their biometrics, HRA on-line questionnaire and flu shot (proof of) or declination to received discounted premiums. • Biometrics will continue to be administered by CIGNA with immediate counseling after results are produced. • Flu shots will be covered by Medic if the employee does not have insurance. If you do have insurance through another provider, please bring your ID card. • Stickers will be given for flu shots. Please remove your sticker from 2017 if possible prior to receiving your shot and sticker. • Vendors will be available for employees and their dependents to discuss benefits. • Dependents may get flu shots if they are 18+ and have their CIGNA ID card. • Completing the vendor game cards makes you eligible for raffle giveaways. • Only if you have approved time off during the dates of the Health Fair will you be allowed to complete a make-up session. You must notify Jackie Manley at jacklynm@medic911.com by Monday, October 16 at 12:00pm if you have approved leave and cannot make either date for the event, otherwise you will NOT be eligible for the make-up session. COMPLIANCE CLASS TRAINING Corporate Compliance training is offered online via the LMS. You can go into the Computer Lab (formerly the Corporate Compliance classroom) or at your desk to complete the training. In order to successfully complete this LMS training, please be aware of the following: Passwords and Login It is your responsibility to ensure that you have access to the Success Factors Learning Management System (LMS). You will need to log into the LMS to complete your compliance training and to set up your fit testing/TB test, if applicable. If you have never logged into the LMS then you will do the following: • Go to: https://medic911.plateau.com • User ID: Employee ID number with preceding zeros if applicable • Default Temporary Password is: ‘medic911’ If you have forgotten your password please use the “forgot password’ function.
