The latest Performance Pay Tracking Period began on March 1. We are striving to meet the Patient Satisfaction goal of a ≥ 50% rating (experience as “Excellent”). In order to create a comfortable margin of performance, while continuing to improve the patient experience, we would like to share some feedback from recent patient focus groups.

The two areas that patients value the most are: 1. Communication from the treating crew:

CHS ACCESS WITH MEDIC ID BADGES After months of working closely with CHS security and testing, Medic employees now have access to CHS emergency department areas when they use their Medic issued ID badges. Access was also granted to some elevators from the emergency department to the inpatient room hallways. Each CHS emergency departments patient care area (that can be accessed via badge readers), Medic employees should now have access when they swipe their Medic issued ID badge.

Please only attempt to access areas that are related to patient care. Each swipe is recorded by

CHS security. Medic accessible areas are limited.

This is a privilege granted to assist with expediting patient care and ensuring patient privacy.

If you are issued a new badge, please let HR know so they can send your badge number and employee information to security. If your badge is not working at the main ambulance entrance to a CHS emergency department, please contact Jamie Stanford at jamies@medic911.com.
