The latest Performance Pay Tracking Period began on March 1. We are striving to meet the Patient Satisfaction goal of a ≥ 50% rating (experience as “Excellent”). In order to create a comfortable margin of performance, while continuing to improve the patient experience, we would like to share some feedback from recent patient focus groups. The two areas that patients value the most are: 1. Communication from the treating crew: “Explain treatment options and procedures” “Provide reassurance and compassionate communication with the patient” 2. Setting clear expectations: “Set transport length expectation” “Set a triage level expectation before arriving at the hospital”

NO BAKE LEMON OREO CRUST LEMON CHEESECAKE Lemon Oreo Crust • 1, 15.25 oz. package Lemon Oreos or Lemon Creme Sandwich Cookies. You can use Golden Oreos or a premade Graham Cracker Crust if you prefer (you’ll have regrets!) • 6 tablespoons melted butter Filling • 2, 8 oz. packages cream cheese • 3/4, 14 oz sweetened condensed milk • 3 fresh lemons - the zest of 2 lemons {approximately 1 tablespoon} and fresh lemon juice; or use slightly less than an 1/2 cup store bought lemon juice) For the Crust Crush the entire package of oreos either in a blender with a chop/crush setting, a food processor or by smacking them with a mallet/meat tenderizer while they are in a zip lock baggie. Melt your butter and add them to the crumb mixture in a gallon size zip loc baggie. Close securely. Crush until texture and size is consistent. Dump the mixture into the bottom of a pie plate. Press mixture evenly in bottom and up the sides. For the Filling In a large mixing bowl with your stand mixer or electric handheld mixer, beat your softened cream cheese REALLY WELL on medium to medium high speed. Scrape down the sides often to make sure it’s really smooth. It will get a little bit fluffy. Once all of the clumps are gone, add in the sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice and zest slowly as you continue to beat it all together. Continue to scrape down the sides of your bowl while it mixes. Once it’s all incorporated, mix it on medium speed for an additional 5 minutes. Pour your mixture into your prepared oreo crust in the pie plate. Jiggle it a little and if needed, smooth it out evenly with a spatula. Add extra zest over the top if you’d like! Refrigerate uncovered for at least two hours. Please note: this article has been edited. For more information and picture credit, visit dreamingindiy. com
