The latest Performance Pay Tracking Period began on March 1. We are striving to meet the Patient Satisfaction goal of a ≥ 50% rating (experience as “Excellent”). In order to create a comfortable margin of performance, while continuing to improve the patient experience, we would like to share some feedback from recent patient focus groups. The two areas that patients value the most are: 1. Communication from the treating crew: “Explain treatment options and procedures” “Provide reassurance and compassionate communication with the patient” 2. Setting clear expectations: “Set transport length expectation” “Set a triage level expectation before arriving at the hospital”

SUMMARY Create and support a rapidly expanding Network Infrastructure for the Agency’s Information Systems (Headquarters 911 Data Center and Disaster Recovery Site). Deliver mission critical infrastructure and ensure highest level of availability, performance and security. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and provide enterprise support and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure. (Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.) Manage the security, backup, and redundancy strategies in the EMC SAN, Data Domain and VMware environment. Configure, maintain, test and update the Site Recovery Manager Consistency and Protection Groups to ensure all Critical systems will “Failover” to Disaster Recovery Site when/if needed. Serve as a subject matter expert for the creation of database structure and data collection/conversion from 3rd party cloud solutions. Create and maintain database standards with assisting with database design. Serves as the Network Administrator, Exchange Administrator and the Windows Server Administrator. Perform ongoing hardware and software maintenance and upgrades. Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks. Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with 3rd party vendors/developers to implement fixes. Proactively using data analytic to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
