ENVIRONMENT In 2007, the port operations were granted an environmental permit that is valid indefinitely and guides the actions of Port of Rauma Ltd, its leaseholders and the businesses operating in the port area. In addition, the impact of the Petäjäs expansion projects on waters will be monitored in accordance with a separate monitoring programme. The process of replacing the lighting in the quay and field areas with LED lights continued. Energy efficiency was also improved by adding a new temperature control system in the port office.
