The procedure is simple, relatively inexpensive, and can be performed in an outpatient setting.

Patients are able to drive themselves home after the procedure because no sedation is neededfortherelativelypainless procedure. Prominent veins frequently have to be injected morethanonce.Inanyonetreatment sessions many veins may be injected.
