✔Bayside Council has granted a new lease to Future Recycling Pty Ltd to redevelop and operate the Bayside Waste and Recycling Centre. The new lease will transform the Bayside Waste and Recycling Centre into a state-of-the-art facility focused on sustainable recycling initiatives. The upgraded centre will offer a range of recycling solutions, making it easier and more convenient for residents to dispose of their waste responsibly. The centre will also be able to accept a larger variety of materials, reducing the amount of waste going to landfill and helping to create a more sustainable future. Future Recycling Pty Ltd will fully fund the redevelopment and invest $4,698,000 to upgrade the site.throughout all stages of development.

✔Old Mentonians Football club will celebrate 55 years at 6.30pm for 7pm on Saturday, September 2, at the Woodlands Golf Club, 109 White St, Mordialloc. ?Former Stonnington Councillor Alexandra Lew is takiong local government arbiter Yehudi Blacher to the Supreme Court. A judicial review has been requested following Mr Blacher’s order to Mr Lew to undergo social media transition and repeat his Councillor induction.

The draft Creative Stonnington: Arts and Culture Strategy 20232026 open for feedback, “Significant progress has been made towards the development of the draft Creative Stonnington: Arts and Culture Strategy 2023-2026, involving extensive research and community consultation,” said a Council representative. The Strategy is now open for feedback via public exhibition. The Strategy will shape the City of Stonnington’s creative future.
