✔Riley Armytage won Best in the Boroondara Photography Competition and first prize Secondary Photographers for his image, Ten-year-old Aryan Shali won first prize in the Young Photographers’ Competition (Primary School) for his image, Spring in Boroondara. Ian Spence won first prize in the Open Photograph Competition (Historical Image taken 1860 to 2019) for his picture, Cinema 1. Julian Fletcher won the Boroondara Today category for his photograph Ted.
Oktoberfest in the Gardens will bring bratwurst and beer to the Catani Gardens for the biggest fest ever held in Melbourne. Organisers say when t ickets went on sale across the country, they had the largest single day of sales in their 13 year history. The event, assisted by the City of Port Phillip, will be held from 1pm-9pm on Saturday, October 21.
