FRESH COVID CASE WORRY AT WOLLERT

■ EXPOSURE sites in the northern suburbs after a Wollert man was last week found to have contracted COVID-19. Some eight people who attended the Indiagate Epping exposure site have been identified as Primary Close Contacts, and negative test results have so far been returned. Authorities say that 28 people who attended the Woolworths Epping exposure site have been identified as Primary Close Contacts. There were 28 patrons and staff who attended the Curry Vault CBD exposure site have been identified as Primary Close Contacts. A Department of Health representative said 17 people who attended the Pact Altona North exposure site have been identified as Primary Close Contacts. Other sites required people who attended to get tested and stay isolated until they return a negative result. This includes two train services on the Craigieburn line. Messages were sent to AFL ticket holders (returning home on trains after Friday night football) and registered Myki holders linked to these services. Messages were sent to 396,000 people who live in communities near exposure sites. The Department released a list of potential exposure sites including: ■ Altona North. Pact Retail Accessories, previously called TIC, 232 Blackshaws Rd. ■ Craigieburn. Railway Station. ■ Docklands. Southern Cross Railway Station. ■ Epping. Wooplworths. Cnr Cooper and High Sts. ■ Epping. 705 High St and Cooper St. ■ Epping. Indiagate Spices and Groceries. Unit 14C, 560-590 High St. ■ Melbourne. Curry Vault Indian Restaurant and Bar. 18-20 Bank Place.
