Detectives are appealing for infor mation as they continue to investi gate a string of offences in the area including:

■ Two businesses were broken into on Matthews Rd in Bentleigh East about 3.15am on June 12.

■ Reports of a robbery at a fast-food restaurant on High Street Rd in Glen Waverley about 4am on June 12.

■ A robbery at a fast-food restaurant on Cheltenham Rd in Keysborough about 4am on June 12.

■ There was a robbery at a fast-food restaurant on Princes Hwy in Eumemmering in the early hours of June 13.

Lewd act on Bayside bus

■ Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after a man performed a lewd act on a bus in Hampton

Police were told a man travelling on a bus engaged in sexual activity directed at a 16-yearold girl about 3.50pm on Tuesday, April 3.

It is believed the 848 service was travelling between Hampton station and Bluff and Highett Rds.

Police believe the man then got off the bus at the Centre Dandenong Rd and Dingley Village Shopping Centre stop.

Investigators have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries.

He is described as being of solid build and having brown short hair and brown eyes.

The man was last seen wearing a cream and grey jacket with dark buttons, cream knee length shorts and was carrying a black backpack.
