The Federal Government has upped its contribution by almost $57 million to a total of $141.3 million. The project's total cost is now $282.5 million with the Victorian Government paying the other half. Hall Rd will be duplicated between McCormicks Rd and Cranbourne-Frankston Rd. Associated works will include improved intersections at McCormicks Rd, Taylors Rd, Western Port Hwy, Evans Rd and Cranbourne-Frankston Rd. A new pedestrian-cycling path will be built beside Hall Rd from McCormicks Rd to Western Port Hwy. The Hall Rd upgrade upgrade was first announced by
