2026 Awards Thank you for joining us this evening for the EntreConf Awards: welcome… This is a celebration of entrepreneurialism through the region, across multiple sectors and at various sizes and stages of business. And with our new Entrepreneurs’ Tales at the start, it’s also about insights into founders’ thinking. The lived experience. The resilience. The determination. And the alchemy of success. Theory is, gather hundreds of smart people in one place at one time and great things can happen. Make that, do happen. Connections matter. Business starts with a conversation. Happenstance encounters tonight can have profound consequences. None of us can know how many thousands of flowers will bloom, how many valuable partnerships can be forged, how much fostering of talent will happen, and how many helpful relationships, even investments might be made. That’s part of the challenge of entrepreneurialism. Idea, theory, iteration, learning, refinement: repeat. Like a rocket in the ground, no one can be sure where with even the most minor of adjustments it might land. Entrepreneurs seek to set their own trajectory, to create their worlds as they wish, from their half hunches and blank sheets of paper. And they get to define success on their own terms. Usually, that is. For once, not wholly tonight though, where the ultimate success of winning an EntreConf Award has been defined by our panel of judges. Chloë is the founder of Bramley, the British bath, body and lifestyle brand she launched 15 years ago after spotting an opportunity while running her family’s inn in rural Wiltshire. Unable to find the beautiful, natural products she wanted for guests, she decided to create her own. What began as a range designed for the inn has since grown into a much-loved British brand, with products stocked in hotels, restaurants and homes across the UK. Most recently, Bramley reached another exciting milestone, opening its first standalone shop in Bath.
GREG INGHAM Greg Ingham created and runs EntreConf and co-founded MediaClash with his wife Jane. MediaClash is an events producer with the Bristol Life Awards, Bristol Property Awards and equivalents in Bath, Cardiff and Exeter, plus conferences. It also publishes Bristol Life and Bath Life. Greg founded Creative Bath, and has advised a diverse range of media, tech and legal companies. In a previous world, too many moons ago, he was a business journalist. THE PANEL OF JUDGES Our independent panel of Judges had the tough task of choosing the winners of these EntreConf Awards. We chose a diverse and knowledgeable group from a wide variety of areas, supplied them with a shortlist of your nominations and let the debates begin. Our thanks to each: ANDREW BILLINGHAM, AVIVA ARENA Andrew is a senior sports and entertainment executive with 30 years’ experience across global events, sponsorship and major venues. Managing director of YTL Arena Bristol since 2018, he previously served as CEO of Bristol Sport, leading the £50m redevelopment of Ashton Gate Stadium. His career includes senior roles at major UK stadiums and delivering global events for adidas, including FIFA World Cups, Olympic Games and UEFA European Championships. Andrew is passionate about creating exceptional live experiences and is leading YTL Arena Bristol’s vision to transform the historic Brabazon Hangars into a world-class entertainment destination, putting Bristol on the global stage. BIANCA JONES, EDP TRAINING Bianca is the founder and managing director of EDP Training, a Bristol-based business supporting organisations across the UK with mental health, leadership and race equity. Since founding the business in 2017, she has worked with hundreds of organisations across the public, private and voluntary sectors, helping to create more inclusive and psychologically safe workplaces. Alongside growing her business, Bianca has balanced entrepreneurship

with raising her daughter as a single mother, giving her a unique perspective on resilience, leadership and purposeled business. She is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs to grow with confidence, build meaningful partnerships and create lasting social impact. CLAIRE WITHERS, BURGES SALMON Claire is a senior associate in the Incentives team at Burges Salmon, advising on the legal and tax aspects of equity and cashbased reward arrangements. She works with businesses at all stages of growth on a wide range of incentive structures, supporting founders, management teams and investors to ensure incentives are commercially aligned, clearly communicated and tax efficient. She also advises on the incentives aspects of corporate transactions, including exits and growth investments. Claire is recognised for providing clear, pragmatic advice and for her engaging, relationship led approach. HARRIET BARTER, FLORESCO MEDIA Harriet is a co-founder of Floresco Media, a Bristol & Bath-based performance marketing agency. With a decade of agency-side experience, she has worked with vast range of businesses across a wide range of sectors and sizes,

Since cofounding Floresco Media, Harriet has helped build it into a trusted partner for businesses looking to scale, combining commercial insight with a genuine passion for helping other entrepreneurs succeed. JAMES HIRST, BRISTOL CREATIVE INDUSTRIES James has spent more than 20 years helping agencies and marketing businesses adapt to changing consumer behaviours, commercial pressures and emerging technologies. With a background in commercial strategy and client development, he recently launched The Intelligent Brief, a platform designed to improve briefing quality and drive better creative outcomes. James is a regular contributor to industry discussions on AI, creative strategy and growth, and frequently hosts and moderates expert panels. As Managing Director of Bristol Creative Industries, he is committed to helping Bristol’s creative community unlock new opportunities and thrive in a rapidly evolving industry. LAUREN CRAWLEY-MOORE, LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE Lauren heads regional coverage for London and the South within the LSE’s Primary Markets team. Lauren is responsible for providing guidance to ambitious private companies and their investors in their initial and on-going assessment of a potential IPO strategy. Lauren is responsible for
leading the portfolio in London and the South region across AIM and the Main Market. Lauren works with key stakeholders including companies and the corporate advisory, Private Equity and VC communities - including nominated advisers, sponsors, lawyers, and accountants. Lauren has held a variety of roles at the LSEG, most recently as head of group campaigns & events, notably spearheading the inception and development of the Market Open experience for companies, and leading the Companies to Inspire projects, that focus on the promotion of private and public business in the growth sector across the UK and Africa. NICK SPICER, YOUR ECO Nick is a renewable energy leader and former British Army infantry officer with 20+ years’ project delivery experience. Founder of B Corp-certified Your Eco Construction, he leads major commercial solar, battery storage and international clean energy projects, with 3.3GW under development. His work spans the UK, Nepal, Caribbean and Africa, combining operational discipline with renewable energy expertise. Nick also founded Veterans in Solar and Reduce Our Carbon, supporting ex-forces careers and global sustainability initiatives. Named Veteran Entrepreneur of the Year 2025, he is recognised for his contribution to clean energy, veteran communities and practical solutions for challenging environments worldwide.
