Police seize drugs worth £1m after blaze at warehouse Police have seized approximately £1m of cannabis plants and drug paraphernalia following a fire in Kingswood on Christmas Eve. They were called out to an industrial unit in Moravian Road at around 5.50am on Saturday 24th December after Avon Fire & Rescue Service advised that they had discovered what was believed to be a cannabis factory Crews from five fire stations tackled the flames and residents were urged to keep doors and windows closed to reduce smoke entering their home.
