● To provide Law Enforcement Agencies with AI tools and techniques to enforce laws related to hate speech and hate crime.
● To support Civil Society Organisations to identify hate speech using bespoke technology to report illegal hate to Law Enforcement and Social Media Platforms
● Facilitate collaboration between Law Enforcement and Civil Society around enforcing the Digital Services Act
- Greater support for the enforcement of the DSA through technology
- Awareness raising for online hate trends (foreign interference, threats, calls to violence etc) through AI, quantitative analysis and media monitoring.
- To evidence illegal hate incidents to inform police action & social media platforms, & support trusted flaggers.
- Increased collaboration between Law Enforcement, Civil Society and Social Media platforms around the removal of illegal hate
● Automatic detection of hate speech and harmful content for all 24 European languages (+ Arabic and Russian)
● Currently monitoring 10 social media platforms through a dashboard (Reddit, X, Facebook, Instagram, 4Chan, Gab, Telegram, YouTube, TikTok and 9gag) with Threads and Bluesky to be added
