Junior and Lower Middle School Kapa Haka Showcase

On Tuesday 15 June, we put on a Kapa Haka concert for the parents to go to.

We started with a few words by William Valentine and Ted Jones. The first song was Tena Koutou. The Years 1 to 4 classes sang it in a nice rhythm. My favourite part was when we did the haka. I like the haka because all the parents were surprised that all the kids could do it.

The last song we did was Toia Mai. Everyone remembered the actions, even the Year 1 boys. Mrs Chapman and Mr Ogston did a good job playing the piano, guitar and giving us actions.
